Claims (4)

  1. Gelenkvorrichtung (10) einer Kraftfahrzeugtür (12) auf einer Wand (19) des Fahrzeugs, in der eine Öffnung (16) ausgebildet ist, wobei die Öffnung einen Teil der Seitenwand definiert, der eine äußere Einfassung (28) und eine innere Einfassung (30) aufweist, die im Wesentlichen senkrecht zu der äußeren Einfassung (28) ist, wobei der Teil der Wand einen Hohlraum (34), der in die innere Einfassung (30) mündet, zwischen einem äußeren Seitenrand (38), der die äußere Einfassung (28) aufnimmt, und einem gegenüberliegenden Seitenrand (40) aufweist, wobei die Gelenkvorrichtung ein U-förmiges Scharnier (22) aufweist, das ein erstes Ende (48) aufweist, das mit der Tür (12) fest verbunden ist, und ein zweites Ende (41) aufweist, das schwenkbar in dem Hohlraum (34) in der Nähe des äußeren Seitenrandes (38) derart montiert ist, dass die Tür zwischen einer Schließposition (24), in der sie die Öffnung (16) verschließt und wobei das U-förmige Scharnier (22) mindestens teilweise in dem Hohlraum (34) angeordnet ist, und einer Öffnungsposition (26), in der die Tür (12) von der Öffnung (16) entfernt ist und wobei das U-förmige Scharnier (22) mindestens teilweise von dem Hohlraum (34) befreit ist, schwenkbar beweglich ist;
    wobei die Tür (12) in der Schließposition (24) von der äußeren Einfassung (28) derart zurückgesetzt angeordnet ist, um den Hohlraum (34) aufzudecken, wobei das erste Ende (48) des U-förmigen Scharniers in der Nähe des gegenüberliegenden Seitenrandes (40) angeordnet ist;
    und wobei die Gelenkvorrichtung (10) ein flexibles Band (36) aufweist, das seitlich den äußeren Seitenrand (38) und das erste Ende (48) verbindet, um den Hohlraum (34) in der Schließposition zu verschließen,
    wobei das flexible Band (36) aus einer im Wesentlichen rechteckigen Lasche aus vorgeformtem Kunststoff gebildet ist, die
    einerseits ein wulstiges Ende (50) aufweist, in dem ein Falz (52) angeordnet ist, wobei das wulstige Ende geeignet ist, mit dem äußeren Seitenrand (38) verbunden zu werden, indem der äußere Seitenrand (38) mit Kraft in den Falz (52) eingefügt wird,
    und andererseits ein durchbohrtes Ende aufweist, das dem wulstigen Ende (50) gegenüberliegt, wobei das durchbohrte Ende dazu bestimmt ist, mindestens eine Niete aufzunehmen, die mit dem ersten Ende (48) des U-förmigen Scharniers (22) fest verbunden ist.
  2. Gelenkvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Öffnung (16) in einer Rückwand des Fahrzeugs ausgebildet ist.
  3. Gelenkvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Teil der Seitenwand aus einem Abschnitt eines hinteren Stoßfängers (20) des Kraftfahrzeugs gebildet ist.
  4. Gelenkvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das U-förmige Scharnier (22) von dem zweiten Ende (41) zum ersten Ende (48) einen ersten Zweig (39) aufweist, der durch einen Bodenabschnitt (44) verlängert ist, der einen im Wesentlichen spitzen Winkel mit dem ersten Zweig (39) bildet, wobei der Bodenabschnitt durch einen zweiten Zweig (46) verlängert ist, der einen im Wesentlichen stumpfen Winkel mit dem Bodenabschnitt (44) bildet.
