Claims (11)

  1. A connection terminal clamping device (2) clamping a conductor wire to a connection conductor bar (4), comprising:
    - a part forming a conductor housing (5), comprising at least one upwardly oriented opening for receiving at least one connectable conductor wire and the connection conductor bar (4),
    - a clamping spring (13) designed to keep the conductor wire introduced into the housing-forming part in position against the conductor bar (4) by means of an elastic force, the clamping spring (13) including a first connecting arm (15) formed by the extension of part of a wall (14) defining said housing-forming part (5) and connected by an elbow (16) to a second clamping arm (17) provided with a free clamping end (18),
    characterized in that the elbow (16) between the first connecting arm (15) and the second connecting arm (17) is at least partially situated on the side across from the opening of the housing, with respect to the plane of the part of a wall (14) delimiting the housing-forming part (5) whereof the first connecting arm (15) forms the extension,
    and in that the opening for receiving at least one conductor wire is situated on the side across from the wall part (14) delimiting the housing-forming part (5), with respect to the clamping arm (17).
  2. The device (2) according to claim 1, characterized in that the housing part (5) includes a housing cage (6) including a side wall having at least one upwardly oriented opening.
  3. The device (2) according to claim 2, characterized in that the housing part (5) includes a bearing portion (7) situated in the extension of a second wall part (8) of the cage (6) across from the first wall part (14) whereof the extension forms the clamping spring (13).
  4. The device (2) according to claim 3, characterized in that an opening (12) is formed in the bearing portion (7).
  5. The device (2) according to claim 4, characterized in that the free end (18) of the clamping arm (17) of the clamping spring (13) is situated in the opening (12) in the idle position of the spring.
  6. The device (2) according to one of claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the clamping spring (13) includes at least one portion (15, 16, 20) having a width greater than that of the cage (6).
  7. The device (2) according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the clamping spring (13) includes at least two portions with different widths (15, 16,20,22).
  8. The clamping device (2) according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that it is made in a single piece, by folding.
  9. The clamping device (2) according to claim 8, characterized in that it is made from a cut material comprising a first strip for forming the housing part (5) and a second part substantially transverse to the first for forming the spring (13) by bending and folding.
  10. The device according to claim 9 and claim 2, characterized in that a cage (6) is formed by folding a strip of material (25) having two portions with complementary shapes (26, 27) for being housed in one another.
  11. A low-voltage apparatus (28) including a clamping device (2) according to one of claims 1 to 10.
