    characterised in that each plate (16) comprises, at its end turned towards the attachment means for the electric conductor, a retaining lug (20).
  6. A female electric contact element according to Claim 1,
    characterised in that the top wall (6h) of the duct (6d) is formed by an extension of one of the side walls (6f) and extends to the vicinity of the free edge of the other side wall (6g) whilst providing a slot (25), the said top wall (6h) comprising apertures (26), whereas the plate (16d) intended to be attached to the said other side wall (6g) has a shoulder intended to be inserted into the slot and ending in spigots (28) intended to engage in the said apertures (26).
  7. A female electric contact element according to Claim 6,
    characterised in that the plates (16d, 16e) comprise, at their free end intended to be turned away from the introduction aperture (lld) of the duct (6d), blades (30) intended to be bent towards the interior of the said duct (6d).
