Definitions

  • the invention relates to an adjustable sighting device for a handgun, in particular for a shotgun, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the invention also relates to a handgun with such a sighting device.
  • the object of the invention is to provide an adjustable sighting device of the type mentioned and a handgun with such a sighting device having improved adjustment options.
  • the sighting rail is pivotally mounted on a height-adjustable center piece and adjustable at the two ends by adjusting elements relative to the rail body in height.
  • both a parallel and an angular adjustment of the sighting rail can be achieved without generating bending stresses in the sighting rail.
  • Another advantage of the sighting device according to the invention is the simple interchangeability of the sighting rail. It can be easily mounted and changed quickly and easily if necessary.
  • the barrel is also largely free and can be extended by temperature fluctuations relative to the rail body.
  • the sighting rail is infinitely adjustable relative to the rail body. As a result, a particularly accurate adjustment is possible.
  • the adjusting elements are formed by pivotally mounted on the sight rail adjusting bolt and associated adjusting nuts on the rail body.
  • the adjusting nuts are preferably designed as knurled nuts and thus can be easily adjusted by hand.
  • the rail body is guided in a preferred manner displaceable on the barrel and only at one end firmly connected to the barrel. As a result, the run can expand due to heating without creating tension or deformation of the rail body.
  • FIG. 1 a barrel 1 of a shotgun with a hook piece 2 and a sighting device with a rail body 3 fastened on the barrel 1 and a sight rail 4 adjustably arranged on the barrel 1 are shown.
  • the two adjusting bolts 6 are laterally flattened in the head area, whereby a better guidance is achieved within the sighting rail 4.
  • a visor 8 is mounted on the upper side.
  • a downwardly projecting center piece 9 is rotatably mounted about a transverse pin 10.
  • FIG. 3 the rail body 3 which can be mounted on the barrel 1 for receiving the sight rail 4 is shown.
  • the rail body 3 extends over the entire length of the barrel 1 and the hook piece 2 and has at its front end and in the rear area bores 11 for receiving the adjusting bolt 6 and transversely extending through slots 12 for in FIG. 1 illustrated adjusting nuts 13.
  • an opening 14 designed here as a continuous slot is provided for receiving the center piece 9 adapted to the shape of the opening 14.
  • the center piece 9 has in the embodiment shown, the cross section of a round-ended feather key.
  • On one side of the Rail is disposed in the region of the through hole, a slot 15 for a counter screw, not shown, in a in FIG. 1 shown lateral threaded bore 16 of the center engages.
  • the rail body 3 On the top of the rail body 3, two upwardly projecting pins 17 with blind holes 18 for receiving compression springs 19 are provided in addition to the holes 11.
  • the rail body 3 On its underside, the rail body 3 has two spaced-apart, downwardly projecting lugs 20 and 21 with T-shaped grooves 22 and 23, respectively.
  • the projection 20 is in this case arranged at the front end of the rail body 3 and the other approach 21 in the region of the central opening 14.
  • an end-side threaded bore 24 for attachment of the rail body 3 on the hook piece 2 is provided.
  • the two adjusting bolts 6 engage with their respective threaded shaft 7 in the two arranged within the slots 12 adjusting nuts 13 a.
  • the two adjusting nuts 13 are designed as knurled nuts and stand with their outside against the rail body 3 laterally.
  • radial threaded holes 25 are arranged with stud bolts 26, through which an undesired adjustment of the sighting rail 4 can be avoided.
  • At the bottom of the adjusting nuts 13 also discernible disc springs are arranged, which axially bias the adjusting nuts 13 within the slots 12.
  • FIG. 6 also one of the arranged in the blind holes 18 of the two pins 17 compression springs 19 is shown, through which the visor rail 4 is biased relative to the rail body 3 upwards and thereby kept free of play.
  • the counter-screw arranged in the threaded bore 16 can first be loosened so that it is possible to change the position of the sighting rail 4 relative to the rail body 3.
  • the sighting rail 4 can be adjusted vertically in the mouth region or in the region of the hook piece 2, wherein both a continuous parallel and angular adjustment can be achieved without generating bending stresses within the sighting rail 4.
  • markings or scales 27 are mounted to indicate the adjustment position.
  • On the right and left side of the rail body 3 are in FIG. 1 recognizable forend covers 28 attached.
  • the in FIG. 4 individually illustrated barrel 1 has for mounting the sighting device on its upper side two spaced apart sockets 29 and 30 for receiving the downwardly projecting lugs 20 and 21 of the rail body 3.
  • the two sockets 29 and 30 a in FIG. 5 recognizable T-profile, which fits to the T-shaped grooves 22 and 23 of the lugs 20 and 21.
  • the rail body 3 can be pushed onto the barrel 1 from the front until it has its rear side 31 in accordance with FIG FIG. 6 comes to rest on an upwardly projecting shoulder 32 of the hook piece 2 and can be fixed by a screwed into the threaded bore 24 retaining screw 33 on the hook piece 2.
  • the two pedestals 29 and 30 can be welded onto the barrel 1 or otherwise attached to it.
  • the barrel 1 with the barrel hook 2 is designed as a removable barrel for a system box of a shotgun with superposed barrels.
  • the sighting device is provided here.
  • the retaining screw 33 for fixing the rail body 3 to the hook piece 2 is according to FIG. 6 arranged at the height of the upper firing pin and has a central through hole 34 with a spring 35 acted upon by a rear stop pin 36 for the upper firing pin, not shown, the double-barreled shotgun.
  • a striker damper is created, which dampens the upper striker when knocking and protects it.
