Definitions
- the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a separating joint seal according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Generic vacuum cleaners are for example from the DE 17 03 140 A1 , of the DE 299 23,672 U1 , of the DE 30 20 571 A or DE 87 11 960 U1 known.
- a vacuum cleaner with a dust chamber seal in which the sealing lip between the dust collecting space and the associated cover part from the dust collection space extending out projects into a gap and is secured to the inner edge of Staübsammelraumes outside the opposite edge sealing surfaces of the lower part and the associated cover part on the seal base.
- This parting seal is intended to compensate for vertical housing movements and to compensate for unavoidable gap tolerances between the opposing housing edges.
- the disadvantage here is that the sealing effect of the gap width between the housing and lid edge is dependent. Depending on the current height of the negative pressure applied in the dust chamber, the lid is pressed more or less against the housing, so that sets an ever-changing gap width. Despite the special design of the sealing lip no constant sealing effect is achieved due to the ever changing gap width.
- the object of the invention is to provide a separating joint seal between a lower part of a vacuum cleaner and a dust chamber cover, which has a constant sealing effect even with changing vacuum conditions in the dust chamber.
- This object is achieved in that the sealing edge in the closed position of the dust chamber cover rests against a substantially extending in the direction of movement of the dust chamber cover wall portion. If the sealing edge of the separating joint seal rests against a substantially extending in the direction of movement of the dust chamber cover wall portion, the distance between the wall portion and the sealing edge remains at least approximately constant, even if the dust chamber cover depending on prevailing negative pressure in the dust chamber different positions to the housing or to the lower part of the vacuum cleaner occupies. Despite such movements of the dust chamber cover, the wall portion always moves approximately at a fixed distance to the separating joint seal.
- the sealing edge is provided on the lower part of a separating joint seal, which is formed as a projecting towards a wall portion of the dust chamber lid elastic lip.
- the elastic lip protrudes into an upwardly open channel, which is provided on the lower part and into which the wall section of the dust chamber cover dips in its closed position.
- the elastic lip is preferably designed projecting in the direction of a dust chamber facing the wall portion of the dust chamber lid. If the elastic lip, in the direction of a dust wall facing the dust chamber wall portion of the dust chamber lid protruding lip also formed obliquely outward, the sealing effect increases with increasing negative pressure in the dust chamber. In this case, the elastic sealing lip on the parting joint already be obliquely formed running outward. Alternatively, it would be sufficient if, for example, the sealing edge is mounted or formed in the unloaded state perpendicular to the wall portion of the dust chamber cover on the parting joint seal.
- the wall portion of the dust chamber cover during movement of the dust chamber cover in the closed position so bend the vertically projecting lip in the direction of movement so to the outside, so that an analogous to the first variants salaried positioning of the lip is realized.
- the sealing effect increases with increase in the negative pressure in the dust chamber.
- the elastic lip on a free end which is employed against the direction of movement of the dust chamber cover.
- the salaried training of the free end of the elastic lip not only an increased sealing effect is achieved with increase in negative pressure in the dust chamber, but even with slight movement of the dust chamber cover against the closing direction is in a mechanical way spreading the free end of the sealing lip against the wall portion of the dust chamber cover achieved, so that the sealing effect initially increases with a slight opening movement of the dust chamber cover.
- Dust chamber covers are generally held in their closed position by means of a mechanical locking mechanism. In most cases, the locking mechanism is a latching counter-latching connection.
- the channel is formed in cross-section U-shaped with an outer and an inner wall of the dust collecting space surrounding leg wall, on whose one leg wall, the separating joint seal is attached.
- the separating joint seal is dimensionally stable following the U-shaped cross section of the channel, so that the elastic lip of the parting joint with respect.
- the U-shaped cross section of the channel is accurately positioned and aligned , Minor deviations of the parting seal can be achieved by attaching the parting seal to a leg wall of the Gutter eliminated or at least largely compensated. As a result, the reliability and sealing effect of the separating joint seal is increased.
- the separating joint seal can be fastened in particular by fastening means on the leg wall.
- the fastening means of interlocking formed by attaching the parting seal on the leg wall latching locking and counter-locking means. Due to the interlocking locking and counter-locking means, the separating joint seal can be mounted in the correct position without additional fastening means in the correct position. Furthermore, if appropriate, a separating joint seal mounted in this way can also be easily detached again.
- locking projections are provided as locking means, which are formed on the leg wall.
- the latching projections engage in counter-locking means of the separating joint seal.
- the counter-locking means are designed as latching recesses.
- the parting seal is attached to an inner leg wall of the dust collection chamber.
- the separating joint seal By attaching the separating joint seal on an inner leg wall, it is possible in a particularly simple manner, the elastic protruding lip projecting outwardly projecting into the U-shaped groove.
- the separating joint seal is kept hidden when the dust chamber cover is closed so that the separating joint seal is not visible to the user when the dust compartment cover is in operation.
- the separating joint seal can be provided with spacers for a stackable storage multiple Trennfugendichtonne.
- the spacers are intended to prevent too close superimposition of the form-fitting Trennfugendichtonne so that an at least slight gap between each two stacked Trennfugendichtonne remains, so that in the course of installation of the vacuum cleaner, a single joint sealing can be taken in a simple manner from the stack.
- Spacer for the joint seal is particularly prevents accidentally multiple Trennfugendichtonne are taken during assembly from the stack at the same time.
- FIGS. 1 to 4 An embodiment of a vacuum cleaner according to the invention with a parting seal is in the FIGS. 1 to 4 explained in more detail.
- the vacuum cleaner according to FIG. 1 has a housing 1 with a lower part 2.
- the lower part 2 has a flat bottom portion and adjoining upwardly leading side walls, which form an upwardly open shell.
- a pivot pin 4 of a pivotable roller is formed on the bottom surface 3 of the lower part 2.
- stiffening ribs 6 are formed on the inside of the side walls, which extend to the bottom surface 3 of the lower part.
- the side walls 5 of the lower part 2 define a dust chamber 7 by a dust collecting device such as.
- a dust filter bag or a Staubabscheidebox can be used.
- a pivot axis 8 is formed for a pivotable dust chamber cover 9.
- a fan chamber 10 is provided in the lower part 2.
- a suction port 11 is provided in the dust chamber 7 from the fan chamber 10 separating side wall 5.
- a suction port 11 is provided in the dust chamber 7 from the fan chamber 10 separating side wall 5.
- a suction port 11 is provided in the dust chamber 7 from the fan chamber 10 separating side wall 5.
- a suction port 11 sucks a not shown Motor-blower unit, which is arranged in the fan room 10, air from the dust chamber 7 at.

Description
