Definitions
- the invention relates to a seat-reclining furniture, comprising a carriage which can be extended from a frame and has a seat frame carrying a seat cushion, and a support frame which is located under the seat frame in the seating position of the furniture and which is arranged in the lying position of the furniture at the level of the seat cushion Lying cushion, which lying frame is supported on the front side by means of a positioning link and can be raised or lowered via the extendable trolley, a driver assigned to the trolley engaging the positioning link to set up the lying frame.
- Such seating and reclining furniture is known from DE 44 33217 C2.
- the support arm of the reclining frame is part of a parallel link system with which the reclining frame is held on the frame side.
- the reclining frame in this seating and reclining furniture is erected by means of the aforementioned control arm serving as a control arm and a further control arm arranged parallel to this control arm.
- the reclining frame of the reclining furniture is held in its reclining position by the fact that the two wishbones are in an over-center position.
- the extendable carriage of this seating and reclining furniture comprises a seat frame with a seat cushion located thereon, the seat frame being carried by a C-shaped side bolster that is open towards the rear of the furniture and resembles an oscillator.
- the side cheek carries a roller which engages in a guide with which the extendable carriage is guided on the frame.
- a driver is arranged in this part of the side cheek, which engages when the retractable trolley is pulled out of the frame on the front support arm of the reclining frame and drives the parallel link system to raise the reclining frame when the trolley continues to extend this is kept stable in its over-dead center position.
- the couch frame is lowered by pushing in the extendable carriage, whereby it is basically only necessary with this previously known seat-couch furniture that the couch frame over which the To move the lying position stabilizing dead center of the parallel link system, since the lying frame then automatically lowers into its lying position.
- this known seating and reclining furniture for converting from its sitting position into its lying position by executing a single actuation movement, namely pulling out the extendable carriage, is perceived as pleasant.
- the construction of this known seating and reclining furniture means that the width of the reclining frame in the pull-out direction is not sufficient to be able to design the sitting and reclining furniture as a longitudinal sleeper. Therefore, this previously known reclining furniture is a cross-sleeper.
- this known seating and reclining furniture can be used as a cross-sleeper, the lying surface formed by the extended carriage with its seat cushion being increased by the width of the lying cushion, but the width of this reclining surface is also sometimes considered to be too small for a cross-sleeper with double occupancy.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of further developing a seating and reclining furniture mentioned at the outset in such a way that, while maintaining the conversion which is perceived as advantageous, the area provided by the reclining frame has a larger width and also a larger cushion height can have.
- the guide has such a backdrop that the reclining frame with its rear end can be brought from its lowered position into its raised position.
- the upright handlebar acting on the front end of this seating and reclining furniture is not articulated around a rigid axis of rotation on the reclining frame, but the connection of the upright control arm on the reclining frame can be moved in the direction of the pull-out movement of the extendable trolley.
- the lifting link carries a roller at this end, which engages in a guide arranged on the bed frame.
- the width of the reclining frame can be correspondingly larger.
- the rear support of the reclining frame facing the frame via the roller can be used to connect a further cushion element which is stowed behind the backrest in the seating position of the furniture and from this position by telescopically pulling out the extendable carriage and one of the The middle carriage assigned to the bed frame can be brought out of the frame from its stowed position and brought to the level of the bed frame or its cushion.
- the lying surface can be widened again, in particular to the extent that this seating and lying furniture can be used as a longitudinal sleeper.
- the rear end of the reclining frame with its role is nevertheless supported on a guide on the frame.
- the backdrop provided by this guide for lifting the rear area of the recliner frame is then longer.
- the lower pivot axis of the positioning link at a level that is as deep as possible, in particular at a level below the rear support of the seat frame with its role in a guide. It is then possible to design the role of the front extendable carriage engaging in the guide as a double role, one role of which engages in the guide and the other role of which is used as a driving role for actuating the lifting link. Both rollers are expediently mounted on a single axis, so that more height remains in the seating position of the piece of furniture in order to form the unit formed from the lying frame and lying cushion. As a result, the padding of the bed frame can be thicker.
- the lifting link advantageously has two stops arranged parallel to one another and following the longitudinal extension of the lifting link, one stop serving as a lifting stop and the other stop serving as a lowering stop.
- the two stops include a driver receptacle into which the driver roll is inserted during the process of pulling out the extendable carriage.
- the lowering stop also resets the couchette from its lying position to its sitting position and is coupled to the insertion movement of the extendable carriage, so that the couch frame does not just fall into its lowered position after overcoming the dead center. Rather, in this configuration, the lowering movement of the reclining frame including the cushion is used to retract the extendable trolley.
- the lowering movement of the reclining frame is also dampened by the fact that the additional upholstery element must be brought into its upright stowed position behind the backrest.
- the support of the seat frame facing the frame is designed to engage in a C-shaped guide. It is then possible to attach a traction means, for example a rope, a belt or the like, to the rear end of the seat frame facing the frame, with which the extendable carriage can be pulled out of the frame.
- the extendable trolley then does not have to have recessed grips or the like and can be padded uniformly on the front.
- a particular advantage of this reclining furniture is that the furniture can be converted from the sitting position into the reclining position by one person in the upright position - in a position in which much more force can be used than is possible while crouching , As a result, such seating and reclining furniture can be easily converted from the sitting position into the reclining position by anyone.
- the seat upholstery can have a slot in the area of its rear end facing the frame, into which the traction device is inserted when the furniture is in the lying position.
- Fig. 3 the seat-reclining furniture of Figure 1 in its extended lying position
- Fig. 4 the seat-reclining furniture in its sitting position.
- a seat-reclining furniture 1 comprises a frame 2 which is supported on the bottom and which is designed as a wooden frame in the exemplary embodiment shown.
- the seat-reclining furniture 1 comprises three adjustable pole ster elements, namely an outer extendable carriage 4 with a seat frame 5 and a seat cushion 6, a middle carriage 7 with a lying frame 8 and an applied lying cushion 9 and a further cushion element 10, which in the sitting position and also in the partially converted position shown in Figure 1 of the reclining furniture 1 is stowed behind the backrest 3.
- the extendable carriage 4 is supported on the front side by rollers attached to the underside of an apron 11 on the bottom side.
- the roller 12 and also the elements described below for supporting, guiding and the like of the carriages 4, 7 and the upholstery element 10 are each located in the region of the right-hand side and the left-hand side of the seat-lying furniture 1 in the seat-lying furniture 1 shown.
- an angle fitting 13 is arranged on the underside of seat frame 5, on its extension 14 pointing rearward toward frame 2 or middle carriage 7, a support roller 15 is arranged.
- the support roller 15 engages in a closed C-guide 16, as a result of which the extendable carriage 4 is supported with its rear end.
- the guide 16 is part of the middle carriage 7.
- the guide 16 has a backdrop so that the support roller 15 in its extended position shown in FIG. 1 is arranged at a higher level than in the retracted position of the extendable carriage 4 in the sitting position (see FIG. 4) to obtain a seat inclination of the seat cushion 6.
- the middle carriage 7 comprises the lying frame 8 with its lying cushion 9. Furthermore, a frame 17 is assigned to the middle carriage 7, against which the lying frame 8 can be erected.
- the reclining frame 8 is connected with its front end, which in FIG. 1 faces the extendable carriage 4, to the front end of the frame 17 via a positioning link 18.
- the mounting arm 18 is pivotally articulated on the frame 17 with a fixed axis of rotation D.
- the support arm 18 carries at its other end for connecting the same to the bed frame 8 a roller 19 which engages in a lateral guide 20 of the bed frame 8.
- the roller 19 is in the guide 20 in the direction of movement of the extendable carriage 4 in the extension of the guide 20th displaceable and pivotable about the axis of the roller 19.
- the support arm 18 carries two stops projecting towards a side cheek of the frame 2 - an upright stop 21 and a lowering stop 22.
