Claims (16)

  1. Outil de serrage, en particulier serre-joint, comportant un premier et deuxième porte-mâchoire de serrage (4, 5) disposés sur un rail (1) et portant chacun une mâchoire de serrage (2, 3), au moins le premier (4) des porte-mâchoire de serrage étant déplaçable le long du rail dans un sens au moyen d'un dispositif d'entraînement pas-à-pas et étant bloqué en sens inverse dans une position au moyen d'un dispositif de verrouillage à contre-pression libérable, caractérisé en ce que l'outil de serrage présente au moins un cavalier (27, 28) monté coulissant sur le rail entre les deux porte-mâchoire de serrage et formant surface de support (34, 35) pour une pièce, ledit au moins un cavalier (27, 28) présentant une surface d'appui (27', 28') opposée à la surface de support (34) et en ce que la surface d'appui (27', 28') du cavalier est alignée avec une surface d'appui (26) du deuxième porte-mâchoire.
  2. Outil de serrage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le deuxième porte-mâchoire (5) présente aussi un dispositif de verrouillage à contre-pression (8) libérable et est déplaçable le long du rail, le dispositif d'entraînement pas-à-pas (6) et/ou le dispositif de verrouillage à contre-pression libérable (7, 8) présentant un levier de serrage (6, 7, 8) déplaçable à l'encontre de la force de rappel d'un ressort (9, 10, 11), le levier de serrage présentant au moins une arête de serrage destinée à s'engager contre le rail (1).
  3. Outil de serrage selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce qu'une partie d'actionnement (8') du levier de serrage (8) du deuxième porte-mâchoire (5) s'étend dans un évidement (36) ménagé dans la surface d'appui (26).
  4. Outil de serrage selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que le ressort (11) sollicitant le levier de serrage (8) est disposé au bord de l'évidement (36).
  5. Outil de serrage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'un cavalier (27, 28) est susceptible d'être assemblé par clipsage à chacun des porte-mâchoire de serrage (4, 5).
  6. Outil de serrage selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que l'assemblage par clipsage est constitué d'une lamelle de ressort (29, 30) disposée sur l'un des porte-mâchoire (4, 5) qui s'engage un creux d'arrêt correspondant (31, 32) du cavalier (27, 28).
  7. Outil de serrage selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le levier de serrage (6, 7, 8) présente une fenêtre traversée par le rail (1) et deux arêtes de serrage diamétralement opposées.
  8. Outil de serrage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le premier porte-mâchoire de serrage (4) interagit avec un ressort (12) s'appuyant à une extrémité sur le rail et à l'autre extrémité sur le premier porte-mâchoire de serrage (4).
  9. Outil de serrage selon la revendication 8 , caractérisé en ce que le ressort (12) s'appuyant à l'extrémité du rail (1) sollicite le porte-mâchoire de serrage (4) dans la direction de serrage, le dispositif de verrouillage à contre-pression (7) agissant dans la direction opposée exerçant une force de maintien opposée à la force exercée par le ressort et supérieure à cette dernière, cette force de maintien pouvant être annulée par libération du dispositif de verrouillage à contre-pression (7).
  10. Outil de serrage selon l'une des revendications 8 ou 9 , caractérisé en ce que le premier porte-mâchoire de serrage (4) est déplaçable par le ressort de mâchoire de serrage jusqu'à une butée de rail (15).
  11. Outil de serrage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que chacune des deux mâchoires de serrage (2, 3) est montée pivotante autour d'un axe (41), à l'extrémité d'un bras (21 , 22) du porte-mâchoire de serrage associé (4, 5), l'extrémité du bras (21, 22) formant une surface arrondie ou en forme de toit (40), la surface (40) étant associée à une embase de butée (39) sur laquelle sont articulées deux joues (2') de la mâchoire de serrage (2, 3) de sorte que les mâchoires de serrage (2), dans chacune de leurs positions extrêmes de pivotement, sont tangentes à la surface (40) au niveau d'une partie de la face arrière (42) de la mâchoire de serrage.
  12. Outil de serrage selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce que chacune des deux mâchoires de serrage (2, 3) est montée pivotante autour d'un axe (41), à l'extrémité d'un bras (21 , 22) du porte- mâchoire de serrage associé (4, 5), l'extrémité du bras (21, 22) constituant par une surface arrondie (40) une embase de butée (39), sur laquelle sont articulées deux joues (2') de la mâchoire de serrage (2, 3) de sorte que la face arrière (42) de la mâchoire de serrage s'appuie contre la surface arrondie (40) dans chaque position de pivotement.
  13. Outil de serrage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le levier de serrage (7) du dispositif de verrouillage à contre-pression (7) est relié rigidement à une poignée de libération (16).
