Definitions

  • the present invention relates to containers equipped with closure caps having a base portion provided with at least one dispensing orifice and a lid pivoting relative to the base portion, the capsule having a cover opening control member.
  • Japanese JP 1-66355 discloses a closure cap having a base portion comprising an internally threaded skirt, to be screwed onto the neck of the container, surrounded by an outer covering skirt.
  • a cover is hinged to this base portion by means of a hinge having a tongue forming a spring, to assist the opening movement of the lid.
  • An opening control member is slidable on the base portion to act on the lid and hinge.
  • Such a capsule is not entirely satisfactory, particularly from an aesthetic point of view, because at rest, when the lid is closed, the opening control element protrudes forward a significant distance.
  • the patent application European EP 0 699 591 discloses a capsule having an outer trim skirt which is interrupted on the side opposite the hinge to receive the opening control member, which comprises a pusher hinged to the base portion and a pusher member slidable in a recess of the basic part.
  • the thrust member has ramps for cooperating with reliefs of the cover to cause the lifting thereof and an end for acting on the spring tab of the hinge.
  • the thrust member comprises an oblong cut in which is engaged a dispensing nozzle. Such cutting is likely to promote the accumulation of dirt, as well as the recess in which slides the thrust member.
  • the patent US 6,834,769 discloses a container having a closure cap in which the opening control member slides within the base portion.
  • the opening control member has a projecting portion, on the side opposite the hinge, on which the user must press to open the lid.
