Definitions

  • the invention relates to a passage barrier for a people passageway, with at least one blocking element which blocks the passageway in blocking position and from the blocking position in a person passage open holding position and back to the blocking position is movable, in which the at least one locking element is locked, wherein a warning means activatable by contact means is provided, which then becomes noticeable when an attempt is made to undo the blocking effect of the at least one blocking element in an unauthorized manner and wherein the contact means are arranged exclusively on the blocking element.
  • Passage barriers of the type mentioned above are usually used to block people passages, if they should not be used by people. Preferred embodiments of such barriers are found particularly in self-service shops.
  • the passage barriers used there are assigned to the checkout desks in order to obstruct or to keep open the passageways of people passing the checkout desks. If cash desks are not occupied, the passages adjacent to them are closed by means of the transit barriers in order to avoid shoplifting. If someone attempts to press a closed passage barrier, a warning device is activated that is designed to dissuade and alert shop staff.
  • a passage barrier in which a mirror is arranged within the outline of the blocking element on the blocking element, which serves as a reflector for the light beam of a light barrier, wherein the light emitting device is arranged outside of the blocking element and only with the mirror makes contact when the blocking element in the the person passing obstructing situation is. If the blocking element is pressed in an abusive manner, the contact of the mirror with the light-emitting device is lost, which then causes an activation of the warning device. An activation of the warning device is also carried out when the light beam is interrupted only by hand, without the locking element is pressed.
  • the first disadvantage is that in some of these solutions, the blocking element must be urgently urged to effect activation of the warning device. This will open the passageway so that a person, even with a modest haste, can pass through people without the store staff being able to do anything about it in time.
  • the blocking element reaches the blocking position in which it is at an angle of 90 ° to the direction of passage either should not take or it is beyond this angle. There is thus the risk that the mirror moves away from the position in which it should be in contact with the light emitting device, so that it must be feared that the warning device will be activated due to the lack of contact, which of course can not be accepted. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the passage barrier described here does not correspond to the passage barrier from which the present invention proceeds, because a part of the contact means, here the light emitting device, is outside the blocking element.
  • the passage barrier should be designed so that the warning device is activated only when someone really tries to exceed the blocking element, with children are excluded, of course, in exceptional cases can always deal playfully with the blocking element located in the blocking position, which ultimately not is to be avoided.
  • a first solution of the problem is that the contact means are provided at the upper edge of the blocking element and extending over the upper edge are effective and formed by the light beam of a light barrier or by a position-adjustable contact rod and that the contact means and / or the warning device at the latest after prospecting the non-blocking position of the blocking element are put out of action.
  • a second solution of the problem can be seen in that the contact means are located at the upper edge or edge region of the blocking element and the blocking element is formed by a band and that the contact means and / or the warning device are disabled at the latest after searching the non-blocking position of the blocking element.
  • the invention takes advantage of the fact that someone who wants to exceed the blocking element of the passage barrier according to the invention, in any case first touches the upper edge of the locking element at least with one hand, then, supported with this hand on the locking element, the blocking element to be able to exceed.
  • it is therefore more than advantageous to attach the contact means at the upper edge or edge region of the blocking element and no longer within the outline of the blocking element. It is therefore possible to approach the blocking element without the warning device becoming active. Only when touching the upper edge of the blocking element, a warning signal or the like is triggered.
  • the warning device is not activated in an appropriate manner when the blocking element is in the person passage open holding position. You can touch the blocking element at the top, push against this or even go with a shopping cart against it, without the warning device is activated.
  • Fig. 1 shows a located for example in a self-service shop 17 cash desk 18, on the longitudinal side 19 passes a people passage 16, which, as the drawing shows, can be laterally delimited by another cash desk 18.
  • a passage barrier 1 is arranged at the first cash desk 18.
  • the passage barrier 1 has a storage 2, which carries a locking element 4 in the known form of a door leaf.
  • the blocking element 4 protrudes transversely to the direction of persons passing (arrow) running in the passage 16.
  • the blocking element 4 blocks in this position the passage 16.
  • the blocking element 4 With the help of the storage 2, the blocking element 4 from the lock position shown in a Personnel passage 16 open holding position and move back into the blocking position, see curved arrow. In the locked position, the blocking element 4 is locked in a known manner.
  • the locking of the locking element 4 can be repealed by means of also known unlocking in the normal case only by predetermined persons of the shop staff to release the passageway 16 for persons who have bought in the self-service shop and want to bill the purchased goods.
  • the blocking element 4 usually interacts with the bearing 2 via a known securing device, which makes it possible, in the event of a panic, such as in case of fire, to open the locked blocking element 4 by applying a larger force in the direction of passage (arrow) so that the passenger passage 16 is opened.
  • a contact means 6 activatable warning device 15 for example, a horn or a flashing light
  • the warning device 15 then makes noticeable when it is attempted to cancel the blocking effect of the blocking element 4 in an unauthorized manner.
  • At least the contact means 6 located on the blocking element 4 are arranged so that they can be reached by hand and thus influenced or acted upon by touching, pressing, pressing, interrupting or the like in such a way that they activate the warning device 15.
  • the storage 2 of the passage barrier 1 is attached to the cash desk 18, while the movable bearing 2 on the storage mounted blocking element 4 projects into the people passageway 16 in the passage direction viewed at a cash desk 18.
  • the movable in the example about a vertical axis locking element 4 has a preferably rectangular outline.
  • contact means 6 in the form of a light barrier 8 are provided.
  • One of the two elevations 7 carries the light-emitting device 9 of the light barrier 8, while the other elevation 7 accommodates the light-receiving device 10 of the light barrier 8.

  • the contact means 6 are further connected to the warning device 15 so that upon interruption of the light beam 11, the warning device 15 is caused to issue a warning signal.
  • the warning signal sounds.
  • Fig. 3 shows a likewise arranged on a cash desk 18 passage barrier 1, in which the contact means 6, however, are of a mechanical nature.
  • the contact means 6 are of a mechanical nature.
  • the blocking element 4 has a preferably large-area housing 20, which, also preferably, the largest surface portion of the blocking element 4 makes.
  • the blocking element 4 has a support frame 24 on which the housing 20 is mounted.
  • the support frame 24 is in the example via two projections 26 and with the aid of a pivoting element 25, which usually belongs to the blocking element 4, movably mounted on the bearing 2.
  • On the support frame 24 may be arranged horizontally movable to the blocking element 4 counting pull-out 29, which is known to pull out a bit far from the support frame 24 if necessary.
  • the blocking element 4 of the passage barrier 1 can thus be better adapted to the differently present widths of the person passages 16.
  • the blocking element 4 may be arranged on the housing 20 contact means 6, for example in the form of a light barrier 8, the light beam is directed above the upper edge 5, transverse to the passenger passage 16.
  • the light receiving device 10 may also be provided at the upper edge or edge region 5 of the pull-out section 29.
