Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shower floor element according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a support element of rigid foam is coated on site with a mortar layer and a sealant. After curing, a tiling or the like can be laid over it. This is very time consuming. Furthermore, a secure seal is not always guaranteed.
  • the DE 200 08 180 U1 relates to a shower floor element with a flat support element made of rigid foam.
  • a so-called “drip tray 64" is included, which is made for example of "sheet metal or plastic” and is intended to catch dripping water.
  • the collecting trough and the underlying shower-floor element must each have such a three-dimensional shape that they exactly match one another.
  • the EP-A-1 240 862 also relates to a shower floor element, with a support element that is produced only at the site during assembly by so-called mounting foam. It is disadvantageously no special provision for a special tight integration of the drain disclosed in the shower tray element.
  • the EP-A-0 766 944 also relates to a shower floor element with a prefabricated support element made of foam.
  • a prefabricated support element made of foam.
  • the tread resistance is achieved in that an upper part is applied to the foam body, which in itself already has a stable shape, which fits exactly to the lower part.
  • the upper part and the underlying shower floor element must each have such a three-dimensional shape that they fit exactly to one another.
  • the DE 197 04 950 A1 also concerns like the EP-A-1 240 862 a shower floor element, which only becomes such that it is produced on the construction site with so-called mounting foam by the mounting foam ("local foam”) is injected onto the underside of the upper part. Due to the foaming work, which must be done directly on the construction site, it is not possible to prefabricate the shower floor element. It is disadvantageously no special provision for a special tight integration of the drain disclosed in the shower tray element.
  • the EP-A-0 333 168 relates to a shower floor element with a flat support element made of rigid foam and a tile covering attached to the foam (called “mold plates”). It is disadvantageously no special sealing of a mecanicflanschteils provided in the shower tray element.
  • the present invention has for its object to provide a shower floor element, which is a very simple, inexpensive production, in particular on site, and / or allows a safe from the prior art seal.
  • One aspect of the present invention is that adhered to the top of a carrier element made of rigid foam, a water-impermeable film and so a shower floor element can be prefabricated, so that during installation before Place directly a tiled surface can be applied to the film.
  • This film can be welded with a suitable choice of material with the support element. Bonding or welding are preferred compounds.
  • a shrinkage or a deep-drawing process may optionally additionally take place or a negative pressure may be produced between the film and the carrier element so that the two materials adhere to one another.
  • the film has a lateral projection over the outer edges of the top of the support member is so large area that it forms a shower floor / wall transition and shower floor / floor transition as a generously available sealing surface in the installed state.
  • This has the special advantage that these transitions are formed in a particularly simple and at the same time securely sealed manner. This can be dispensed with the otherwise usually additionally sealed, technically more vulnerable sealing strips, which saves installation effort and material costs.
  • the lateral projection of the film therefore forms in the transitions to the wall or to the walls at a corner solution, as well as to the floor an uninterrupted, reliable sealing surface
  • the material of the sealing film is preferably chosen so that it also in the ordinary everyday stress stretch can be claimed without tearing.
  • another sealing foil may be applied overlapping the sealing foil projection of the shower floor element to the first sealing foil in order to make the seals to the floor and the wall even safer.
  • the intended for the support on the wall or on the floor bearing surfaces of the lateral supernatant Self-adhesive coated with an adhesive layer and provided with a release liner reduces the on-site installation effort.
  • the carrier element or the hard foam is made so strong that the carrier element is sufficiently stable and pressure-resistant, so that it is suitable to be tiled directly, without the usual additional reinforcements, for example in the form of glass fiber mats must be additionally applied to the surface. Accordingly, results in a simple, inexpensive and fast to manufacture structure.
  • the carrier element can preferably be produced with an already incorporated gradient as a shaped part, for example as an EPS rigid foam part.
  • the carrier element is particularly stable when it is produced with a particularly high density, as is the case, for example, with EPS having a density of more than 100 g per cubic centimeter.
  • a blank for the support member and a flat plate can be used, in which then a suitable slope profile is milled, so that the shower water can drain well.
  • Such plates are, for example, commercially available from Diekhoff, 47441 Moers.
  • the support member may be mounted directly on a suitable Unterbau simulation the floor or on a support frame, which in turn is supported on a variety of height-adjustable support legs. This results in a simplified process of installation of the system, which is easy and fast for plumbers and tilers feasible.
  • the proposed shower floor element can advantageously have the same ready-to-use floor surface, for example natural stone, artificial stone, tiles, acrylic, etc.,
  • Fig. 1 shows a schematic section of a proposed shower floor structure 1 with a proposed shower floor element. 2
  • the shower floor element 2 has a flat, in particular plate-shaped carrier element 3 made of a rigid foam.
  • the support element 3 is several cm thick, in particular about 4 to 6 cm.
  • the carrier element 3 is preferably formed in one piece. In particular, the carrier element 3 consists exclusively of the rigid foam.
  • the shower tray element 2 or the carrier element 3 has an at least substantially rectangular, square or circular shape.
  • the shower floor element 1 further comprises a water-impermeable film 4, which is glued in particular directly and / or over the entire surface of the rigid foam or the top of the support member 3.
  • a water-impermeable film 4 which is glued in particular directly and / or over the entire surface of the rigid foam or the top of the support member 3.
  • Fig. 1 is an adhesive 5, with which the film 4 is adhered to the support member 3, indicated.
  • the consisting of the support element 3 and the film 4 shower floor element 2 can be prefabricated accordingly and then installed on site, as in Fig. 1 shown schematically but not to scale.
  • the thickness of the adhesive 5 is shown very large only for illustrative reasons.
  • the film 4 is preferably glued or laminated with a very thin adhesive layer on the top of the support member 3 or connected in a comparable manner, for example, welded. Alternative fixings have already been discussed above.
  • FIG. 2 illustrates a preferred construction of the film 4.
  • the film 4 is preferably formed on one or both sides rough.
  • the film 4 which is impermeable to water and in particular also to water vapor is in particular provided or laminated, as required, on one or both sides with an adhesive layer 6 of a preferably fibrous and / or non-woven material.
  • the shower tray element 2 and the support member 3 preferably has a drain opening 7 for a schematically indicated drain 8 or the like.
  • the upper side of the carrier element 3 is inclined at least in regions to the discharge opening 7.
  • the film 4 preferably protrudes into the drain opening 7 and is preferably cut in this area, for example in a cruciform manner, around an in Fig. 1 Sealing not shown in detail with respect to the drain 8 or other, not shown components of the sequence 8 to allow. With regard to this seal, the drain opening 7 may also be formed stepped as needed.
  • improved embodiment may - as shown schematically in FIG. 5 shown as a partial view - the sealing film 4 with the horizontal flange 8a of the drain part 8 from FIG. 1 waterproof glued or welded.
  • the inner edge of the then provided in the film 4 opening is shown with reference numeral 4a.
  • the rigid foam is preferably designed to be resilient so that it can support a covering 9 made of tiles 10, free of reinforcements or supporting layers, as in FIG Fig. 1 indicated.
  • the rigid foam preferably has a density of at least 100 g per cubic decimeter, but at least about 90 g per cubic decimeter.
  • the support element 3 forms exclusively the support layer for the tiles 10. Between the support element 3 and the tiles 10 so no support layer, as usual in the prior art, for example, with glass fiber mats, arranged. Accordingly, the production of the shower floor element factory is much easier and cheaper.
  • the tiles 10 are bonded by means of a tile adhesive 11 - in the region of the shower floor element 2 - preferably directly to the film 4 or its adhesive layer 6.
  • the tile covering 9 may preferably continue flat.
  • the tiles 10 are therefore, for example, glued to a laterally adjoining substrate 12, as in Fig. 1 indicated.
  • Fig. 1 indicated.
  • other constructive solutions are possible here.
  • the shower floor element 2 or the support element 3 is preferably itself glued to the substrate 1 or in a corresponding recess or depression of the substrate 12.
  • a sealant 13 which hardens, in particular, rapidly and / or with exclusion of air is arranged, which is covered by the lining 9 or the tiles 10.
  • the shower tray element 2 is basically constructed as described above.
  • the film 4 has a lateral projection 32 of about 3 cm beyond the outer edge of the top of the shower tray element 2 away.
  • the supernatant may also be longer.
  • the carrier element 3 consists of a rigid foam of very high density of at least 100 g per cubic decimeter. This results in a further increased mechanical stability and Eindschreibfestmaschine the shower base, whereby the shower floor can be driven with a wheelchair without the risk that the wheels leave Eindschreibspuren.
  • a pedestal 34 is provided from rail-like flat plates 38, on which the support member 3 rests, with height-adjustable feet 36 are provided to compensate for uneven floors.
  • the feet 36 include a flat foot made of metal and a bolt as a height-adjustable part, which engages with its external thread through a matching threaded hole in the frame - for example, realized by sliding blocks with internal thread - through. So that an extremely low installation height remains feasible, recesses are provided in the carrier element 3 for the rails 38 and optionally for the bolts of the feet 36. These recesses have the further function of fixing the shower floor element 2 on the frame 34 against lateral slippage.
  • the pedestal 34 follows according to FIG. 4
  • the outer contour of the support member 3 thus forming an outer frame with this contour, and has in the interior in the example four struts, which cross each other and transfer the main burden of the showering person on the floor substructure.
  • the threaded holes are preferably provided close to the inner crossing points and at the edges in sufficient number to allow the feet to be mounted in sufficient numbers, see the circles in FIG. 4 ,
  • the drain flange goes through the central opening of this grid so formed.
  • the proposed shower floor element 1 can be installed and overflowed in particular within a working day by a tiler or other users. This results in a simple and cost-effective way an excellent sealed and in particular also resilient shower floor structure.
