Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a tights, that is to say an article of clothing that covers at least the lower part of the body, from the waist to the two ankles and possibly partially the upper body. More particularly, it relates to a pantyhose which has localized zones with a restraining effect and which is specially designed for practicing a sport in which the legs are animated with repetitive movements, especially running or cycling.
  • these articles consist of a base support on which is reported at least locally a compression band.
  • the base support has a normal elasticity that does not provide a restraining effect.
  • the contention band has a lower elasticity, which, when wearing the article, provides the localized compressive effect that is sought.
  • This compression band may be formed of a textile piece made of a less elastic material than the base support and reported for example by gluing or sewing. It may also be a localized treatment of the base support with an impregnating agent modifying the elasticity of the base support in the impregnated zone.
  • the present invention relates more particularly to an article of clothing which consists of a tights specifically designed for the practice of a sport in which the legs are animated repetitive movements, including running or cycling and which has a restraining effect localized, mainly for the support of the muscular masses and the maintenance of the knee joint.
  • Running whether long or medium distance running or mountain running, commonly referred to as a raid, results in repetition of the same movements of the lower limbs, muscles and joints working in the same way with each stride .
  • the first quality of a garment, specially designed for the race, is not to be an inconvenience for the runner and especially not to give rise to mechanical stress may be a complementary source of effort and fatigue. It's the same for cycling.
  • the present invention is to overcome this disadvantage by proposing a tacky, localized contention effect, consisting of extensible textile parts, assembled to each other, namely first pieces of normal elasticity, second pieces to contention effect and possibly third pieces with higher elasticity.
  • all the first and second pieces have, in the assembly, substantially the same average elasticity in the direction longitudinally of the panty and the second pieces have, in the transverse direction, an elasticity which is less than half of the elasticity of the first pieces.
  • the adhesive has substantially the same elasticity over its entire height, in the longitudinal direction, that is to say in the general direction of the lower limbs; this elasticity, called average, is chosen so as not to cause discomfort or mechanical stress during repetitive movements of the athlete's lower limbs. Therefore, the presence of the second compression parts does not alter the elasticity of the adhesive in the longitudinal direction, unlike what happens when the compression zones are strips or obtained by impregnation of a processing agent locally modifying the elasticity of the base support, as in the aforementioned documents.
  • the compression effect is obtained solely by the difference in elasticity, in the transverse direction of the adhesive, at the level of the second pieces.
  • the mean transverse elasticity difference between the first and second compression members is in the ratio of 2 to 3.
  • the average elasticities in the longitudinal directions of the first and second parts are respectively 100% and 97%, while their average elasticities in the transverse direction are respectively 130% and 50%.
  • the first and second pieces being of the woven type with warp yarns and / or of the knitted type with mesh columns, the warp yarns and / or the mesh columns, have in the assembly all the same longitudinal direction.
  • the assembly of the parts is carried out by seams of the flatlock or suture type, advantageously by using foam-type yarns and with sewing thread tensions which are set at values lower than those of the conventional seams. to avoid that the presence of seams creates a heterogeneity in the average elasticities, especially in the longitudinal direction, of the assembled parts.
  • the assembly of the first and second parts at the knee is made with a bent construction at a bending angle corresponding to an intermediate position taken by the lower limb during repetitive movements. Being a tights for running, this angle is 20 ° to 25 °, especially of the order of 20 ° for a tights for running in the mountains.
  • the panty has a third piece with superior elasticity on the back of the knee. In the case of a cycling tights, the bending angle is of the order of 30 °.
  • pantyhose as soon as it is made, adopts this average configuration makes it possible to limit the forces used during the flexion-extension movements of the lower limbs, knowing that when standing, when stationary, it already exists at the knee bending angle of the order of 10 °.
  • This particular arrangement on the one hand does not hinder the extension of the leg and on the other hand limits the folds likely to form on the back of the knee during bending.
  • the upper elastic part possibly located on the back of the knee, allows to absorb, during the extension of the knee, the sizing difference due to the curved construction, without causing the implementation of additional stretching forces .
  • This third piece with higher elasticity is, for example, a textile mesh net.
  • a textile mesh net has a high permeability to air, which can provide a complementary aeration effect.
  • At least one first piece comprises at least one false seam, creating a line of reduced elasticity, arranged between two second pieces obliquely to the longitudinal direction. This false seam avoids the possible spacing of the two second pieces, compared to their normal positioning which could intervene because of the change of distribution of the volumes in the sticky during the work of the muscles.
  • a second compression piece is disposed in the portion of the panty which is intended to cover, at the level of the leg, the inner and outer twin muscles and the medial lower part of the calf.
  • a second piece of contention effect is disposed in the portion of the adhesive intended to cover, at the level of the calf, the anterior tibialis muscle.
  • a second compression piece is disposed in the portion of the tights intended to cover, around the knee joint, the internal and external lateral ligaments, the anterior tibial tuberosity, the patellar ligament and the entire anterior part of the knee joint.
  • the ball is preferably covered by a first part or possibly a third part, said first or third part having for example a substantially circular, oblong or rectangular configuration whose upper and lower sides are a convex curvature.
  • a second V-shaped part is disposed in the part of the adhesive intended to cover, according to the wings of the V, on the one hand, the anterior part of the knee joint, at the level of the base. V, and on the other hand, the anterior aspect of the thigh.
  • the first wing of the V covers the outer vastus (Vastus lateralis) and the tensor of the fascia lata (Tensor fasciae latae) to terminate on the anterior superior iliac spine at the waistband of the tights.
  • the second wing of the V covers the vastus medialis (Vastus medialis) and the muscular group of adductors.
  • a second piece of contention effect is disposed in the portion of the tights intended to cover, on the rear part, the muscular group of the ischiostrures of the upper lateral part to the lower medial part.
  • a second compression piece is disposed in the front portion of the tights, intended to cover the abdomen, in the form of a transverse band whose central portion is higher than its two side portions.
  • a second piece of contention effect is disposed in the rear portion of the tights intended to cover the lower back, above the gluteus maximus muscles in the form of a transverse band.
  • a third piece formed of an open mesh is disposed above said second piece, at the waist, in order to obtain better evacuation of sweat.
  • a third piece of higher elasticity is disposed in the portion of the tights intended to cover the crotch zone, originating along the sub-gluteal sulcus to join the internal femoral tuberosity.
  • pantyhose of the present invention is primarily intended for athletes practicing a sport in which the legs are animated repetitive movements, including the race of medium and long distances, the raid or the bike.
  • the parts referred to hereinafter as the first pieces are cut in an elastic textile material of normal elasticity.
  • This is for example a knit-proof knit armor called charmeuse, making the order of 170 g / m 2 , consisting of 80/20 son polyamide-elastane.
  • Such a knit has an average elasticity in the longitudinal direction, according to the mesh columns, resulting in an elastic elongation of 100% and in the transverse direction by an elastic elongation of 130%.
  • the parts referred to hereinafter as second parts are cut from an elastic textile material whose mean elasticity in the transverse direction is significantly lower than that of the first parts in a ratio of at least 2 and preferably in a ratio of 2 to 3. This material allows a contention higher than 7mmHg.
  • it is a knit-proof knit charmeuse armor, but inverted, making the order of 240 g / m 2 , consisting of son 80/20 microfiber polyamide, elastane.
  • the elongations are calculated under a force of 15 N.
  • the mean elasticities, in the longitudinal direction, of the first and second parts of the adhesive are almost identical, with a difference of less than 5%, while the average elasticity difference between the first pieces and the second pieces, in the transverse direction, is in a ratio of 2.5.
  • the parts hereinafter referred to as third parts, are parts whose average elasticity is greater than that of the first part. It is in particular a mesh net relatively open, also ensuring a ventilation effect in the areas it covers.
  • the pantyhose 1 for men is intended for runners of medium and long distances. It is formed by the assembly of eighteen panels consisting of eight panels [C, C ', I, J, K, L, N, N'] having the structure of the first parts with normal elasticity, six second panels [A , A ', B, B', F, H] having the structure of the second compression members, having a lower transverse elasticity than that of the first pieces and four third panels (D, D ', E, G,) having the structure of thirds pieces, formed of an open mesh net.
  • the first panels are shown without hatching, the second panels with horizontal hatching and the third panels with oblique hatching.
  • This assembly is made such that all the mesh columns of the first and second assembled parts have the same direction, corresponding to the longitudinal direction of the adhesive, that is to say to the vertical direction when the adhesive is carried by a user standing.
  • this assembly is made according to a bent construction at the joint of each knee at a bending angle of the knee of the order of 20 ° to 25 °.
  • the assembly is done by sewing the flatlock type or suture, using foamed son, for example textured, the framer. It is desirable to adjust the tension of the threads of the sewing machines to a value lower than that currently used in order to limit the negative effect that the presence of the seams may have on the uniformity of the average elasticities of the assembled parts, particularly in the direction longitudinal.
  • first, second and third pieces on the relevant parts of the body of the pantyhose.
  • first, second and third parts as regards their location located on the areas of the body.
  • a second piece 2 covers the inner and outer twin muscles (Gastrocnemius medialis and Gastrocnemius lateralis) as well as the medial lower part of the calf. More precisely, this second piece 2 covers the entire inner part of the calf starting along the internal edge of the tibia (Margo medialis), between the base of the internal tibial tuberosity (Condylus medialis) and stopping above the medial malleolus (Malleolus medialis) along the inner edge of the tibia.
  • This second piece extends to the middle of the back of the calf, in the extension of the Achilles tendon, for its lower part and covers the lateral twin muscle for its upper part, following the anatomical pattern described by the belly of this muscle in its lateral and low part.
  • This second piece 2 is therefore asymmetrical because, starting from a horizontal line crossing the twin muscles at the height of the base of the internal tibial tuberosity, it extends to the base of the glue 1 for its medial part while it stops under the internal twin muscle for its lateral part, following the curvature formed by the belly of this muscle for the lateral and low part.
  • This second piece 2 is part of two panels A, A '.
  • Another second piece 3 covers the anterior tibialis muscle. This second piece 3 is delimited by the crest of the tibia (Margo anterior) and a vertical line passing through the medial malleolus and the head of the fibula (Fibula). This second piece 3 extends towards the knee. This second piece 3 corresponds to the panels B, B 'which end in their lower part at the base la and 1'a sticky 1 and extend in their upper part to the panels A, A'.
  • a second piece 4 covers the lateral ligaments (Tibial Collateral ligament) and external ligament (Collateral ligament fibulare), the anterior tibial tuberosity (Tuberositas tibiae), the patellar support (Lig. patellae) and the entire anterior part of the knee joint.
  • this second piece 4 is part of the panels A, A '.
  • the patella is covered either by a first piece 5, as shown in FIG. figure 1 , or possibly by a third room, depending on the climatic conditions in which the use of the tights is envisaged.
  • This first piece constitutes the panels C and C '. It can have a circular configuration, or oblong or rectangular with its two upper and lower sides having a convex curvature.
  • a third piece 6 covers, on the back of the knee, the entire popliteal area (Fossa poplitea) and ends in its upper part by a horizontal line placed about 5 cm above the upper part of the femoral tuberosities internal and external (Epicondylus medialis and Epicondylus lateralis).
  • This third piece 6 corresponds to panels D and D '.
  • a first piece 7 covers the anterior face of the knee and extends at the thigh forming a V on the anterior face thereof.

  • each seam 15 connects the seam 16 between the panels A and K, from an upper point 17 which is located at the base of the tensor of the fascia lata to a lower point 18 at the level of the vast internal.
  • This false seam 15 has the effect of creating a reduced line of elasticity, between these two points 17, 18 so as to avoid the possible spacing between the two wings V of the panel A, relative to their normal position, spacing that could occur due to the change in distribution of volumes in the tights 1 during the work of the muscles.
  • the tights 30 is intended for athletes who practice the raid, that is to say running in the mountains. It is therefore also a sticky for the race but that nevertheless have a number of differences compared to the sticky of the first example.
