Definitions

  • the invention relates according to the preamble of independent claim 1, first, a socket for lamps, especially for single-capped compact fluorescent lamps with sockets G23 or G24, with at least one electrical contacts containing socket housing part of insulating material, wherein the locking of the lamp cap in the version in The socket housing part arranged detent springs engage behind the lamp socket existing locking lugs.
  • Sockets of this type serve on the one hand to produce the electrical connection of the power lines with the lamp and on the other hand to keep the lamp mechanically safe.
  • it is known in particular with lamps with sockets of the types mentioned to arrange in the socket housing detent springs, which have the task to hold the lamp cap in its inserted into the socket position or to secure this position against falling out.
  • Such a lamp holder is eg in EP 1 107 395 B1 disclosed.
  • Such a lamp holder on the part of the socket is advantageous in terms of the resulting ease of use in itself.
  • even accidental pulling on the lamp or a shock-like load on the entire lamp can cause it to be separated from the socket.
  • it can not always be ensured that the lamp is inserted far enough into the socket, since the not very strong restraining forces of the detent springs do not signal the firm seating of the socket in the socket so clearly.
  • a lamp socket with the features of the preamble of independent claim 2 has become known through obvious use, namely a socket for lamps, especially for compact fluorescent lamps with sockets G23 or G24, with two socket housing parts made of insulating material, one of which electrical contacts contains, wherein the socket housing parts are rotatable relative to each other about the longitudinal axis of the socket between a socket lock position and a socket release position for locking the lamp cap in the socket and wherein one of the socket housing parts locking members to the rear handle has behind existing on the lamp socket locking lugs.
  • the view of the present invention special advantage of this version consists essentially in the fact that the lamp must be rotated, which her mechanical and electrical absolute safe seat in the version is guaranteed.
  • the lamp can only be removed deliberately from the socket, since they have to be turned back for this purpose. However, this requires only a small handle and is therefore quite comfortable.
  • the one socket housing part of the actual version namely an insulating material with embedded electrical contacts and threads on the outer shell for screwing a retaining ring, as is often common in lamp sockets.
  • the second housing part is latched to the lamp-side end face of the first socket housing part and can by a certain constitutionsswinkelweg relative to the other Socket housing part are rotated.
  • This second, substantially disc-shaped socket housing part has in each opposite arrangement each have a groove into which the lamp base can be inserted with its locking lugs. In the socket release or -einsteck sued these grooves are aligned with corresponding grooves in the other socket housing part. Then has the patch socket housing part four receiving openings for the four lamp contact pins.
  • the lamp can be plugged with its socket in the socket (or remove from it).
  • the four lamp contacts are inserted through the corresponding openings of the disc-shaped socket housing part.
  • the lamp is rotated with the disc-shaped socket housing part relative to the other socket housing part by approximately 15 ° circumferential angle.
  • the existing on the lamp base locking lugs move under retaining projections, which are integrally formed on the inside of the other socket housing part.
  • the four lamp contact pins enter the contacts of the socket housing part containing them.
  • These contacts are special contacts that are designed as open in the circumferential direction Gabelfedem. The contact with the lamp contact pins is thus not in the longitudinal direction of the contact pins, but across it.
  • the patch essentially disc-shaped socket housing part is a special component, but also the actual socket housing part itself, at least in terms of contacts that can not be used on conventional lamp holders for the type of socket in question, the one connector in the axial direction presuppose the lamp contact pins.
  • the present invention is based on the object to improve a lamp socket both in the preamble of independent claim 1 as well as in the preamble of the independent claim 2 assumed genres, to the effect that a secure locking of the lamp cap is guaranteed in the base lock position and also in that contacts of conventional design can be used, which are suitable for insertion of the lamp contact pins in the axial direction.
  • a first version that achieves this object is set forth in independent claim 1 and accordingly characterized in that the socket comprises a second socket housing part which surrounds the first socket housing part as a ring body substantially sleeve-shaped, relative to the first socket housing part about the longitudinal axis of the socket is rotatable and includes latch members that hold the detent springs in socket lock position of the socket unavoidable against the locking lugs of the lamp cap.
  • the socket housing part containing the contacts can use conventional contacts, namely those in which the base contact pins of the lamp can be inserted in the axial direction of the contact pins.
  • the lamp contact pins are not rotated into the contacts in order to transfer the lamp from a free insertion position in the base lock position.
  • the locking of the lamp in the base lock position is effected by rotating the annular body, which surrounds the first socket housing part substantially sleeve-shaped. This annular body is arranged or formed independently of the contacts of the first socket housing part.
  • the locking effect is achieved in this invention in that the ring body is rotated to a position in which his Locking organs, the detent springs or detent spring legs that snap into the socket behind the locking lugs after the axial insertion of the lamp base, hold firmly against the locking lugs of the lamp base, so that it is impossible to pull the lamp out of the socket or by shock from the socket to move out. It is in any case a targeted reverse rotation required.
  • the principle of the invention applies that the lamp base, when it is inserted in the axial direction of the lamp contact pins in the socket, also receives its electrical contact by axial insertion of the lamp contact pins in the contacts. Therefore, also in this embodiment, conventional contacts can be used and not those which require a pivoting of the lamp contact pins in the circumferential direction of rotation. In this second embodiment, which does not have or must have any special detent springs which engage the locking lugs of the lamp cap, the locking of the lamp cap in the socket in the socket locking position after rotation of the annular body is achieved in that the locking members engage behind the socket-side locking lugs.
  • the locking members can be designed particularly simple, namely as on the inside of the annular socket housing part (18) molded, inwardly projecting cam.
  • the containing the contacts socket housing part may be provided on its jacket on opposite sides, each with a slot through which engages the respective locking member of the other socket housing part and the ring body may be provided on its outer surface with threaded means for screwing a retaining ring.
  • the ring body can be provided with engagement slots for latching a so-called socket dome.
  • 10 denotes a socket for a lamp 11.
  • 12 is a mountable on the version 10 socket dome.
  • the lamp 11 has tubular lighting means 13, a base body 14 for fixing the lighting means 13 and a lamp base 15.
  • two lamp base pins 16 can be seen in FIG. 1 and one locking nose 17.
  • two locking lugs 17 are provided.
  • the lamp holder 10 comprises two socket housing parts made of insulating material, namely the actual socket housing part 18 and a substantially ring-shaped or sleeve-shaped outer socket housing part 19. This is provided on the outer casing with threads or thread sections 20 and with two opposite engagement slots 21 for snap hooks 22 of the socket dome 12 ,
  • the socket housing part 18 has in the middle an insertion opening 23 for the lamp cap 15. According to the arrangement of the locking lugs 17 on the lamp base 15 18 matching grooves 24 are provided in the socket housing part. With 25 chambers are referred to, in which the electrical contacts, not shown in Fig. 1 are housed, in which the lamp contact pins 16 are inserted in the direction of their longitudinal extent.
  • the lamp 11 is inserted with its base 15 in the receiving opening 23 of the lamp holder 10 and locked therein. This is done - as will be explained in detail below - by relative rotation of the two socket housing parts 18 and 19 to the designated 26 longitudinal axis of the socket or the entire system.
  • the annular body denoted by 19 here also has a base 27 in which two circular-segment-shaped recesses 28 are located, but corresponding, but in the circumferential direction shorter, lugs 29 engage on the side of the other socket housing part 18.
  • This arrangement 28/29 ensures a defined rotational movement limitation between the two socket housing parts 18 and 19.
  • Fig. 4 can be seen in the lamp holder 10 contacts 31, which are designed as fork spring contacts and except for connection not shown electrical lines for receiving the socket contact pins 16 of the lamp 11, wherein the contact by inserting the lamp contact pins 16 in the longitudinal direction, ie in a Direction parallel to the longitudinal axis 26 takes place.
  • Fig. 4 shows the lamp cap 15 just so far inserted into the lamp holder 10 that the lamp contact pins 16, the contacts 31 not yet contact.
  • Fig. 5 shows the contacted state. Both in Fig. 4 and in Fig. 5, the second, the socket housing part 18 annular overlapping second socket housing part 19 is not shown.
  • Fig. 6 shows a lamp holder 10 with the two socket housing parts 18 and 19, wherein in the socket housing part 18 in opposing arrangement detent springs 32 approximately corresponding EP 1 101 395 B1 are arranged.
  • detent springs 32 engage after the complete insertion of a lamp cap 15 behind the locking lugs 17 on the lamp base 15. This lock is only to ensure that the lamp, especially in a hanging position of use, can not fall out of the socket 10.
  • the restraint forces exerted by the detent springs 32 are, however, so small that the lamp could be pulled out of the holder 10 at any time in the direction of its longitudinal axis 26 again. To prevent this, the solution shown in Fig. 7 is provided.
  • Fig. 8 shows the unblocked position in which the lamp 11 can be inserted or removed from the socket 10
  • Fig. 9 shows the locked state.
  • At least one spring element 36 biased against the lamp base 15 has its spring force greater than the sum of the contacts 31 on the base contact pins 16 exercised contact forces.
