Claims (16)
- Water ride consisting of at least one watercraft which comprises a floating body and a chassis which is connected thereto in an articulated manner and which serves as a guide unit, a guide for the chassis which runs in the water, and a drive for the watercraft, wherein the floating body is connected to the chassis via a connection unit which comprises flexible elements and which allows relative movements of the floating body with respect to the chassis, characterised in that arranged on the floating body (10) and on the chassis (30) are associated coupling elements (14, 24) which serve for rigidly connecting the floating body (10) and the chassis (30) in at least one relative position, and in that the coupling elements are designed in such a way that the floating boxy is fixed on the chassis after being lowered.
- Water ride according to claim 1, characterised in that the coupling elements (14, 24) can be locked, wherein the lock can be released in a controlled manner.
- Water ride according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the connection unit (20) consists of articulated rods (22, 23) which form transverse and longitudinal control arms, and of telescopic rods, linear guides or rotation assemblies.
- Water ride according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterised in that the flexible elements are cables, chains, belts or air cushions.
- Water ride according to claim 3 or 4, characterised in that the flexible and/or articulated elements are connected to hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, or cable feeds, which can preferably be controlled.
- Water ride according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the coupling elements have a redundant locking mechanism and/or a dead-centre locking mechanism or are designed as a king pin and a king pin bearing.
- Water ride according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the floating body (10) is a single-hulled or multi-hulled boat or a raft.
- Water ride according to claim 7, characterised in that the boat is a sailing boat, a motorboat or a rowing boat.
- Water ride according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised by cable drives or conveyor belt drives mechanically connected to the craft.
- Water ride according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised by a friction wheel drive or a toothed wheel drive.
- Water ride according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised by a flow drive, preferably a pumped flow drive, with controllable outlet nozzles arranged in the water close to the guide.
- Water ride according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised by inductive drives, in particular linear motor drives.
- Water ride according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the guide has downhill sections in which the watercraft is driven by gravity.
- Water ride according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the guide consists of one or more, preferably two, rails.
- Water ride according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that running wheels or support wheels (32) are provided on the chassis (31), which wheels rest on the guide rails (40) in a rolling manner.
- Water ride according to one of claims 1 to 14, characterised by brake devices arranged on the chassis and/or on the guide.
