Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for holding chisels of a milling device with a rotatable milling drum and a corresponding chiseling device according to the preambles of claims 1 and 2.
- the state of the art is, for example, to hold a chisel by means of clamping sleeves in a so-called chisel holder, wherein the chisel, comprising a chisel head and a chisel shank, has a flat annular groove for receiving the clamping sleeve.
- the DE 36 30 444 A1 describes a chisel which is supported axially by the chisel holder by an elastic ring.
- the ring is intended to absorb the impact forces acting on the bit head and thereby effectively reduce the stresses on a carbide contact element of the Mei- ⁇ elspitze, chisel head and holder, so as to increase the life of said elements.
- the bit holder can also according to the DE 43 22 401 C2 inserted with a holding shaft in a corresponding recess of a welded to the milling drum base and secured by a bolt.
- Another known variant of the holder is to hold the bit by means of an O-ring of elastomeric plastic, which is clamped in the annular groove of the drill collar or the chisel holder.
- the O-ring is compressed during the insertion of the respective chisel or chisel holding element in the corresponding holding device and prevented by its pressing effectively and reliably slipping out of the chisel or the chisel holding element.
- a drill bit for applying, for example, coal formations, ore formations or road surfaces
- a rotary drivable bit consists of three parts which are positively fitted into one another so that a torque can be transmitted about the longitudinal axis of the bit. While the torque transmission takes place by connecting cross sections, which are not circular, there is a backup of the three. Parts against axial displacement by means of securing bolts which penetrate adjacent parts in the radial direction.
- the securing bolts are designed in the form of magnetic pins, so that the pins are prevented from moving out of the bores as a result of the vibrations occurring during operation of the bit and thus canceling out the fixing of the bit parts in the axial direction.
- Another embodiment according to the DE 697 09 793 T2 discloses a chisel rotatable about its longitudinal axis, which has at its shank end a groove into which a U-shaped retaining plate engages.
- a locking pin is used which is arranged between the retaining plate and a stop of the bit holder. The magnetic force in turn prevents inadvertent slipping out of the locking pin, whereby the positive connection could be canceled.
- a disadvantage of the bit holder system according to the DE 697 09 793 T2 is that the removal of the magnetic pins is relatively complicated and time consuming, so that the desired simplification of the bit assembly and disassembly is hardly achieved.
- the locking pins used are also very filigree parts, so that the handling is difficult.
- the need for releasable mounting of chisels or chisel holders on the milling drum is due to the fact that in case of inevitable wear of the carbide chisel head except this as few components of the milling device to be replaced with. Accordingly, the chisel z. B a road milling machine usually bulk and the chisel holder, which must be replaced after several generations of worn chisels, compared to less frequently replaced components.
- the base or lower part of such a swap-holder system should be spared from wear as completely as possible since the base part is welded onto the milling drum and renewal or replacement thereof is correspondingly complicated and cost-intensive.
- a chisel holder which has at the back of a drill collar a magnet through which the bit is held in the holder.
- the back of the drill collar is in direct contact with the magnet, with a sliding fit provided in the axial direction.
- a rotation of the Chisel shank be prevented about its longitudinal axis by the chisel with its shank in a recess of the holder - for example, with a locking pin - is fixed.
- the object of the invention is to present a bit holder method and a corresponding device for a road milling machine by which the elements affected by the holder are cheaper and easier to design and the times required for the removal and installation of chisels or chisel holders, can be shortened.
- the object is procedurally achieved by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.
- Device-technically, the object is achieved by the features of the characterizing part of claim 2.
- the reason for overestimating the required holding force is possibly the non-observance of an angle at which the shaft longitudinal axis of the corresponding element of the chiseling device is generally aligned with the milling drum, in particular with respect to its radius.
- This angle is achieved that during a rotation of the roller centripetal force acting on the element, for the most part by adhesion and sliding friction between the shaft and shaft holder, compensated and the rest must be applied only by relatively suitable counter forces to a To prevent falling or flying out of the corresponding element effectively and safely.
- the magnetic force can advantageously be chosen so that the bit can rotate, but can not be released from the holder, which is achieved, for example, by the realization of a precisely defined, in operation non-variable air gap between the drill collar and the magnet.
- the chisel shaft is configured without a circumferential groove in its jacket perpendicular to its longitudinal axis, since such grooves, as for housing a clamping sleeve or an O-ring for fixing the chisel in the holder prior art and far are widespread, have a significantly more expensive in the production.
- the costs are further saved and also the cost of mounting the clamping sleeves and the disc.
- the chisel shank according to the invention can be smooth, i. without any recesses, but it can also have in its longitudinal direction extending recesses or grooves or grooves, since their production is less expensive and inexpensive possible.
- the shank may also be provided with a holding sleeve, which surrounds it and is fitted in a groove in the manner of a clamping sleeve, in which the shank can rotate about its longitudinal axis.
- the holding sleeve can be used in contrast to a conventional clamping sleeve without much effort manually in the bore of the holder.
- the fixation of the clamping sleeve in the holder does not take place via radially acting, elastic clamping forces, but by means of magnetic force.
- the retaining sleeve is preferably fixed by the magnetically caused adhesion to the magnet, which forms part of the lateral surface of the recess, i. Bore for the drill collar, make contact.
- the retaining sleeve does not rotate about its axis, but the tool shank within the retaining sleeve, i. relative to this. Again, a removal of the bit can be done simply by the chisel is pulled out with sufficient force from the bore, so that the magnetic force is exceeded.
- the magnetic force is caused by a permanent magnet, however, it may also be electromagnetically producible for particular applications.
- the chisel holder itself may be the magnet or have magnetic components.
- the shank of a chisel can be inserted into the ring opening and held by magnetic force. It is also advantageous to provide a magnetic element as a separate component, which may be reusable.
- bit consists of at least two Mei- ⁇ elelementen of which at least one is magnetic or an electromagnet.
- the chisel head as the earliest exchanged bit element in the simplest way interchangeable.
- the invention can also be further developed in that a bit shank of the bit is cylindrical with, for example, a circular cross-section.
- the cylindrical shape is particularly simple and therefore inexpensive to produce.
- a special processing, such as undercutting by means of milling or lathes, forming grooves in the circumferential direction or the like, as required in conventional shank bits, can be saved.
- a chisel with a purely cylindrical shank is therefore technically superior to all known chisels with conventional shanks.
- the drill collar be provided with grooves extending in its longitudinal direction.
- the grooves may be part-circular in cross section, resulting in comparatively sharp edges in the transition to the Schaftschis vom. These edges cause a scraper effect that prevents buildup of abrasion or other particles on the wall of the receiving bore.
- a development of the invention also provides that the magnetic element in a recess of the bit holder can be introduced and in the immediate vicinity, but with a small air gap to the drill collar in its mounted state can be arranged.
- the invention can advantageously be further developed in that the magnetic element is rod-shaped and at its end facing the drill collar corresponding to a penetration of the geometric body forming the recess for the drill collar with the cylinder enveloping the magnetic element, d. H. in particular concavely curved, shaped.
- Such a shaping of the magnetic element ensures that the end face of the rod adapts to the cylindrical tool shank in a type of groove, and can therefore exert a greater magnetic force on it.
- the magnetic element does not have to be aligned perpendicular to the drill collar, but can assume an angle to this, which prevents it from falling out even better.
- the mei- ⁇ elschaft be provided with longitudinal grooves, without the risk that the magnetic force too weak.
- the milling device according to the invention with a plurality of chiseling devices should be designed such that the chiseling devices are magnetically supported on the milling drum of the milling device at least in part.
- an outer roller part of the milling drum, in particular a base part welded thereto, can be magnetic.
- a simple replacement of all chiseling devices for the purpose of maintenance or conversion can be done in the electromagnetic variant simply by switching off the electric current.
- chiseling device 100 is welded to a base member 120 to a milling drum 200 of a milling device not shown in detail.
- the chiseling device 100 has, in addition to the base part 120, a chisel holder 130 (so-called change holder) consisting of chisel holder shaft 132 and chisel holder upper part 134 and a chisel 160 consisting of a chisel head 164 with carbide tip 165 and a chisel shaft 168 inserted in a receiving bore 135 of the chisel holder upper 134 ,
- a cylindrical magnetic element 110 has a groove 112 (see FIG. FIG. 1a ) with the same radius 114, which also has the drill collar 168. It is inserted into a receiving bore 135 within the bit holder upper part 134 and connected to it by adhesive, for example. Of course, a connection can also be achieved by brazing or spot welding.
- the magnetic element 110 causes by magnetic force that the Although chisel rotatable against a certain resistance, which is absolutely necessary for wear reasons, but not force-free, but only with a threshold exceeding force from the bit holder shell 134 is pulled out.
- the end face 111 of the magnetic element 110 may even have a small distance to the drill collar 168, without disadvantageously reducing the holding effect of the magnetic force.
- bit holder top 134 may be the bit holder top 134 or the bit holder 132, or both elements of the bit holder 130, or portions thereof, such as the contact portion 137 of the bit holder top 134.
- bit 160 it is also possible not to provide the bit 160 in one piece, so that the bit head 164 can be removed from the drill collar 168.
- a magnetic element 167 is then located e.g. on the chisel head 164 facing the end of the drill collar 168. Also shown is an arrow 300, which indicates the direction of the milling drum 200.
- the chisel shaft 132 has a rectangular recess 133 into which a retaining screw 122 engages in the screwed-in state and thereby fixes the chisel holder 130, respectively its chisel holder shaft 132, in the recess 121 of the base part 120.
- the retaining screw 122 cooperates with its external thread with an internal thread in the base part 120.
- FIG. 2 shows an alternative chisel shaft 168 ', in whose lateral surface are arranged a plurality of circumferentially equidistantly distributed and in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the chisel shaft 168' extending grooves 169.
- the grooves 169 each have a cross section in the form of a pitch circle, resulting in comparatively sharp edges 169 ', which can prevent the manner of a scraper attachments on the wall of the receiving bore, since the bit rotates about its axis during operation.
