Definitions

  • the invention relates to a buoyancy aid for watercraft in distress with at least one floating bag for use in a watercraft.
  • the invention is based on the patent US 4,232,417 A out.
  • This relates to a buoyancy aid for animals by means of a timed gas generator for inflating a swimming bag.
  • the entire device is attached to a marine animal.
  • the floating bag is attached to a receiving body, wherein a gas cylinder with biased gas is connected to the receiving body and the gas bottle protrudes into the floating bag. Due to the small dimensions of the gas cylinder, it can be readily assembled through the piping opening.
  • From the DE 197 47 359 A is a floating bag on the ship's wall of a ship known, the receiving body has on its outer side a curved outer surface for shaping the swimming bag.
  • the applicant is a buoyancy aid for watercraft in distress with at least one swimming bag known.
  • floating bags In the interior of the vessel floating bags are arranged, which are each inflatable by a gas source.
  • the floating sacks are connected to the vessel by a bondage, each buoy being separately connected to an external gas source.
  • From the FR 878 980 is a buoyancy aid for watercraft with at least one swimming bag according to the introductory part of claim 1, wherein the floating bag is inflatable by a lying within the floating bag inflator.
  • the object of the invention is to form the floating bag with its own gas generator in such a way that the gas generator is to be mounted in the interior of the floating bag in a simple manner.
  • the floating bag is provided with a hinged flap. Through this, the assembly of the gas generator and the receiving body. Of the The flap closes an opening and can be firmly and gas-tightly connected to the base bag.
  • a base body 7 On the inner wall 1 of a watercraft 3, a base body 7 is connected to a mounting plate 5 fixedly connected via a pyrotechnic release screw 9 with the mounting plate 5.
  • a wound cable 13 is mounted next to the separating screw 9.
  • the cable 13 is connected both to the mounting plate 5 and to the base body 7.
  • a wound cable 13 is mounted next to the separating screw 9.
  • the cable 13 is connected both to the mounting plate 5 and to the base body 7.
  • a cylindrical gas generator 23 is attached in a part-cylindrical trough 21 with a correspondingly curved outer surface 22.
  • a packing bag 25 envelops both a folded floating bag 27 and the gas generator 23 arranged therein.
  • the pack sack 25 is attached at 29 below a flared portion 31 of the base body 7 water and gas tight to the base body 7.
  • a piping 35 of the floating bag 27 is mounted in a recess 33.
  • the recess 33 is formed by corresponding Kehlnuten 37, 38 on the base body 7 and the receiving body 19.
  • the receiving body 19 For mounting the receiving body 19, this is inserted through an opening 50 at the upper end of the floating bag 27 and inserted into the opening 18 until it stops at the piping 35. The piping 35 is then in the throat groove 38. Subsequently, the base body 7 is pushed in a simple manner in the direction of the arrow 65 on the cylindrical pin 17 of the receiving body 19 until it stops at the piping 35.
  • the piping 35 is in the pulling direction 67 of the floating bag 27 positively against the annular lugs 36, 39 at. Between the lugs 36, 39 is an annular gap 42. In the annular gap 42 is with lateral play the floating bag 27. Free of lateral forces, see arrow 69, the floating bag 27 is located in the annular gap 42nd
  • the pin 17 and the base body 7 are connected by a corresponding fit firmly together. It can also be provided other fastening means.
  • Both the portion 61 of the folded swimming bag 27 and the said portion 61 of the fully inflated floating bag 27 are positively in the in FIG. 2 level shown on the curved outer surface 22 as well as in the offset by 90 ° plane at the radii 43 of the gas generator 23, see FIG. 1 , This ensures that as small as possible or no shear stresses occur in the inflated state of the floating bag 27 at the attachment point, but only tensile stresses. Critical fracture zones of the floating bag 27 are thereby avoided.
  • the still folded swimming bag 27 begins to fill with gas and finally expands the pack bag 25 until it breaks at a predetermined breaking point not shown and the floating bag 27 is free.
  • the gas of the gas generator 23 exits at an opening 41 of the gas generator 23 and enters directly into the floating bag 27.
  • the separating screw 9 is electrically ignited and releases the base body 7.
  • the floating bag 27 rises with this and is held by the rope 13.
  • the cylindrical gas generator 23 also contributes to this - see FIG. 1 - As well as the radii 43, 45 at the gas generator 23 at.
