Definitions
- the present invention relates to a writing instrument for a memory lead with an applicator.
- the storage lead is arranged in a pen body, such as for board and flipchart markers, for paper markers and pigment markers, for highlighters, for lacquer and decorative markers and for OHP markers.
- a writing instrument is known from EP-AO 121 113, which is protected from drying out without a cap.
- An inner cylindrical tube, in which a lead is mounted, is arranged in a cylindrical pin body.
- a displaceable, cylindrical tube is also arranged in the pin body between the pin body and the inner tube.
- the slidable tube has an exit opening for the writing tip of the lead at its front end.
- the movable tube can be closed with a hinged lid, so that the retracted lead tip is sealed.
- the displaceable tube is displaced together with the lead in the inner tube, which maintains a position relative to the pin body, via a pressure mechanism.
- the cover of the tube protrudes from the latter to expose the opening of the inner tube and the movable tube for the mine tip.
- the cover is biased into its open position by a spring element.
- the lid In the retracted position of the lead, the lid is held in a closed position by abutting the inner surface of the sliding tube.
- the known structure is comparatively complex, especially since the inner cylinder and pin body do not move relative to one another. gene while the lead and the movable tube are moved via a pressure mechanism relative to the pin body and the inner tube, which additionally perform a relative movement to each other to open the sealing element.
- a writing instrument is known from EP 0 267 557 B1, which is protected from drying out without a cap.
- the writing instrument has a holder in which a storage lead is slidably mounted.

- the spring element 198 pushes the sealing element 184 back into the position shown in FIG. 15, where the closure cover 186 rests on the edge of the obliquely cylindrical section 194 and seals the applicator tip.
- FIG. 16 shows the writing instrument from FIG. 15 in its depressed position, in which the applicator tip 112 protrudes from the writing instrument through the sealing element.
- the writing instrument is held in the pressed position by projections 203 on a fastening clip 204 of the writing instrument.
- the projection 203 participates a protrusion in the locking pin; 144 together and thus holds the actuating device in the pressed position. It has proven to be particularly advantageous with this latching mechanism that when the holder 204 is spread open the actuating device is released and the applicator tip is retracted into the writing instrument. This prevents accidental stains when the pen is jammed.
- Fig. 18 shows the spring shown in Fig. 17 in a perspective view. By pressing on the projecting section 200 of the spring, the closure cap is released and can be pushed open by the pen tip.
- 19 shows an alternative embodiment of the spring, in which the spring element has two protruding tongues 206 in the region of the hinge, which are pressed by the circumferential projection 182.
- FIGS. 20a and 20b show the writing instrument according to the invention in its pressed position. In the pressed position, only a spherical cap-shaped section 209 protrudes from the actuating device 134, which can also be designed differently.
- FIGS. 21a and 21b show the writing instrument according to the invention in the retracted position, in which the actuating device 134 protrudes from the holder.
