Definitions
- the invention relates to a plug contact with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- the plug contact is provided for electrical, preferably releasable connection of a wire or a stranded wire with a web conductor of a stamped grid.
- a blade receiving contact which can be plugged into or through a slot or a punched hole of a web conductor of a stamped grid and connected to the web conductor by welding.
- Punching grids are used, inter alia, in the automotive industry. They have one or more sheets in one or more planes, which are stamped into bar conductors, which connect electrical components with each other comparable to the printed circuit printed conductors. Compared to printed circuits, many times higher currents are possible.
- the known blade receiving contact has a number of identical contact blades, which are packetized to form a disk set, ie are arranged congruently adjacent to each other. The packetized contact blades form the blade receiving contact.
- the contact blades have a slot open at one end which divides them into two contact springs integral with one another in a foot region of the contact blade.
- the blade receiving contact forming contact blades is a blade contact, so an electrical contact in the form of a metal strip, pluggable.
- DE 101 17 061 A1 discloses a plug-in contact with a contact plate having plate pack, which are formed by a slot as a blade receiving contacts.
- the contact blades of the known plug contact have eyes at one end, which are placed on a rivet that holds the disk pack.
- the rivet connects the plate pack with a crimp connection for connecting to a stranded wire.
- US-A-6 062 916 discloses a contact blade formed by a slot as a blade receiving contact.
- the lamella has a sword, with which it can be plugged into a printed circuit board and soldered to a conductor track of the printed circuit board.
- the invention is based on the object to propose an improved contact of the type described above as a plug contact.
- the plug-in contact according to the invention has contact lamellae which are packetized into a lamella packet which forms a plug which can be plugged into a punched hole in a web conductor of a stamped grid.
- a foot region of the packetized lamellae that is to say a region facing away from the contact springs, forms the plug which can be plugged into the punched hole of the bar conductor.
- the plug contact according to the invention has a cage which holds the plate pack of the plug contact.
- the cage is preferably a sheet metal stamping and bending part, in which the blades of the plug contact are held and held together as a plate pack.
- the cage may also consist of plastic and form, for example, a housing for the plug-in contact.
- the cage improves mechanical strength of the plug-in contact according to the invention and prevents, inter alia, that the disk pack falls apart during storage, transport and handling.
- a surrounding the cage electrically be provided insulating housing. If the cage made of plastic is usually unnecessary, an additional housing.
- An essential function of the cage is the guidance and support of the contact springs approximately at the level of the contact points.
- An inventive plug contact with two contact blades has four contact springs, which rest at four points on an inserted electrical conductor. If the plug contact has more contact lamellae, the number of contact points on the inserted electrical conductor increases by two with each contact lamella corresponding to the number of contact springs. This results in a correspondingly high current carrying capacity of the plug-in contact, which can be easily increased by increasing the number of contact blades. A high current carrying capacity is of considerable importance in the low voltage range. Especially in the automotive sector, the current load increases by an increasing number of electrical consumers with increasing electrical power.
- the blades of the plug contact can be stamped from a sheet of high strength and as a result of good spring properties even at high temperature, since a bending of the slats is not required.
- the plug contact permanently remains as a plug on a plugged into the slot of its contact blades electrical conductor, ie it is not intended to pull the inserted electrical conductor for releasing the connector from the plug out.
- the detachable plug connection is instead provided on the plug formed by the disk pack, that is, to release the connector that is inserted into the punched hole of the web conductor of a punched grid disk set of the plug-in contact according to the invention is pulled out of the web conductor out.
- the plug-in contact according to the invention thus enables the attachment of a plug to, for example, a cable, a stranded wire or a connecting wire of an electrical or electronic component by simply plugging and without the expense of a crimp connection or a clamping connection by screws.
- the invention does not exclude that an inserted into the slot of the contact blades electrical conductor is pulled out again.
- the cage has a strain relief for a plugged into the slot of the contact blades electrical conductor.
- the strain relief increases the mechanical strength of the connection. It is particularly advantageous if and because the plug-in contact according to the invention is not to be solved by an inserted electrical conductor, but the release of the electrical connection takes place by pulling the plug contact from the punch hole of the web conductor.
- An embodiment of the invention provides a plug-in foot on the cage of the plug-in contact, which passes into a slot in the web conductor upon insertion of the plug-in contact in a punched hole of a bar conductor.
- the cage causes or supports an intended insertion position of the plug contact in the web conductor, an oblique position of the plug contact in the web conductor is also avoided as an inclination of the slats to each other.
- An embodiment of the invention provides for a contact of the plug contact, with which the plug contact rests against a web conductor of a stamped grid, when the plug contact is inserted into a punched hole of the web conductor.
- the system ensures an intended position of the plugged into the land conductor plug contact with respect to the land conductor. In this case, except for a vertical direction to the web conductor position of the slats of the plug contact also a to the web conductor oblique position of the slats in question, which is ensured by the installation of the plug contact.
- the system is located in particular laterally next to the slats, it may for example be punctiform at several points around the slats around, linear (continuous or interrupted) around the slats around or even sheet-shaped.
- a punctiform system come, for example, laterally projecting lugs of the slats or feet on a web of the edge facing a housing of the plug-in contact into consideration.
- the cage of the plug contact may also have feet.
- a contact surface results, for example, at a bottom of the housing or the cage of the plug contact.
- the contact blade 10 shown in Figure 1 is stamped from a sheet, it is elongated with a roughly rectangular outline and has an open at one end longitudinal slot 12 which divides the contact blade 10 in two contact springs 14.
- the slot 12 opens with two chamfers 16 to which close to the mouth of the slot 12 concave curves.
- the curves are adapted to a diameter of a wire heresteckenden, they form contact points 18.
- the contact springs 14 are integral with each other.
- the contact blade 10 faces outward standing noses as stops 22, which limit an insertion depth in a web conductor of a stamped grid.
- the contact blade 10 of Figure 1 In addition to the stops 22 which limit the insertion depth in a web conductor of a stamped grid and determine the position of the plug contact in the web conductor, the contact blade 10 of Figure 1, a pair of rectangular, on the longitudinal sides of the contact blade 10 outwardly projecting projections 46.
- the projections 46 are used to attach the contact blade in a yet to be explained, shown in Figure 2 cage.
- the projections are arranged approximately at the level of the contact points 18.
- the plug-in contact 38 has a number of contact blades 10.
- the fins 10 are packed, d. H. congruent superimposed to form a disk pack, which forms the plug contact 38.

Description
- Figur 1
- eine Kontaktlamelle eines Ausführungsbeispiels eines erfindungsgemäßen Steckkontakts als Einzelteil;
- Figur 2
- einen Käfig des Steckkontakts der Erfindung als Einzelteil;
- Figur 3
- einen erfindungsgemäßen Steckkontakt ohne Gehäuse; und
- Figur 4
