The drain comprises a base body (2) with ring-shaped plate part (4) and a central trough part (5) with cover plate (8). The cover plate is supported spaced above the plate part to define a circumferential inlet opening (10). The cover plate has on the top side freely upwardly projecting radially aligned vertical slats (11). In the ring area occupied by the slats the cover plate has a ring slit set radially outside of the outer edge of the trough. The plate part of the base body and the cover plate preferably have roughly the same outer diameter. The slats directly adjoin the outer edge of the cover plate by their outer edges.

Description

The invention relates to a water drainage for sealed flat surfaces, in particular roof drainage, with a base body which rests with an annular plate member on the flat surface to be drained or flush with the surface is embedded in the upper side, a central Trough part and an opening out of this bottom side central drain opening, to which a vertical drain pipe is connected, and with a cap body, which covers the drain opening with a central, flat cover plate.

A drain device according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from EP-A-1 036 894.

In a known roof drainage of this type (DE 26 50 361), the attachment body consists of a lid with a closed surface, which prevents the entry of air into the drain pipe, and from a lid connected to the cylindrical screen body, which surrounds the drain opening and is provided with holes ,

It is also a water drainage of the type mentioned (WO 84/04126) is known in which the cover plate is also executed with a closed surface surrounded by radially aligned fins as Leitstegen, which are distributed at a uniform distance around the circumference of the cover plate and between them Limit flow openings. The rising from about the roof level to above the top of the cover slats are used to prevent vortex formation in the water flow on the way to the drain hole and the retention of leaves and gravel. The effect of the upper-side fins is essentially limited to the deciduous and gravel trap.

The invention is concerned with the problem of providing a water drain which can be constructed in a simple design, which provides an improved drainage performance in particular when the level of the water surrounding the water drain rises above the top of the cover plate.

The invention solves this problem by a water drainage with the features of claim 1. With regard to further embodiments, reference is made to the claims 2 to 13.

The water drain according to the invention secures by its additional water inlet via the annular slot from a range of calm flow with a nearly laminar flow course increased maximum water flow, a completely calmed water supply to the drain opening within the attachment body.

The particular as a roof drain on sealed flat roof surfaces certain water outlet 1 comprises a base body 2 and a top body 3. The base body 2 is provided with an annular plate member 4, which rests on the flat surface to be drained or the top flush with the surface is embedded in this. Furthermore, the base body 2 comprises a central bowl part 5, from the bottom side a central drain opening 6 opens, to which a drain pipe 7 connects, which engages in the installed position in the upper end of a drain pipe.

The attachment body 3 has a flat, in the assembled position of the parts the trough part 2 centrally cross-cover plate 8, which is provided on the underside with at least three upstanding, radially aligned spacer webs 9, with which the attachment body 3 is supported on the annular plate member 4 of the base body 2 , The spacer webs 9 are preferably distributed over the circumference of the cover plate 8 at equal angular intervals. Instead of three spacer webs 9 and their four or more can be provided. In the assembled position of the parts, the cover plate 8 limits the plate part 4 of the base body 2 a circumferential inlet opening 10, which can be made relatively low in height, so that it is directly effective even as foliage and Steinfรคnger. The attachment body 3 can by means of conventional fasteners such as screws o.รค. be connected to the base body 2 (not shown).

On the upper side, the cover plate 8 freely upwardly projecting, radially aligned, vertical fins 11, which can be performed with the cover plate 8 - as well as the spacer webs 9 - integral. The fins 11 act with their outer edges or outer edges 12 as foliage and gravel trap and with their major faces facing each other as guiding elements for flow calming and orientation of inflowing water when the water level rises due to corresponding rains or other causes on the top of the cover plate 8.

The fins 11 lie in a ring area and form a wreath, with their outer edges 12 directly adjacent to the outer edge 13 of the cover plate 8. Between their outer edges 12, the fins 11 limit passages 14, whose width, measured in the circumferential direction, corresponds to approximately half the mean diameter of the pebbles of a gravel support on the surface to be drained. The width can accordingly be between 10-30 mm and preferably moves at about 15 mm - 20 mm. The height of the passage openings 14 between the outer edges 12 of the fins 11 corresponds to 1.5 to 3.0 times the opening width, and is preferably about twice. In the radial extent, the lamellae 11 have a length which corresponds approximately to 1.5-2.5 times the height of the passage openings 14, preferably approximately 1.75 times.

In the annular region occupied by the lamellae 11, the cover plate 8 has a ring slot 16 located radially outside the outer edge 15 of the trough 5, which preferably has a width in the radial direction which is approximately 0.5-1.5 times, preferably approximately 0.5 the simplicity of the width of the passage openings 14 between the outer edges 12 of the fins 11 corresponds. The outer edge 17 of the annular slot 16 is preferably at a distance from the outer edge 13 of the cover plate 8, which corresponds at least approximately to the annular slot width. The annular slot 16 accordingly forms an inlet opening for water, which in itself, but in any case in conjunction with the inlet opening 10 between the outer edge 13 of the cover plate 8 and the outer edge 18 of the plate member 4 of the base body 2 is sufficient to the water drain 1 easily with that maximum To supply amount of water that can pass through the drain opening 6 and get into the drain pipe.

As mentioned above, the height of the inlet opening 10 is determined by the spacer webs 9, and these spacer webs expediently have a height which is about 0.5 to 1.5 times, preferably approximately the width of the passage openings 14 between the outer edges 12 of the fins 11 is. The inlet opening 10 thus has a passage surface, which always unobstructed water passage guaranteed. By the radial spacer webs 9 is also ensured that in the occupied by the spacer webs 9, underside ring area no significant vortex or vortex formations can occur. Since the spacer webs 9 come with their inner ends at least up to the outer edge 15 of the trough 5 in the base body 2, occurs within the trough 5 no vortex or vortex formation more, since the water until reaching the drain opening 6 in view of its flow rate for this no Opportunity has more. If necessary, however, even in the trough 5 radial, the fins 11 similar guide webs can be attached, which then zoom with their inner edges approximately to the circumference of the drain opening 6.

If the water level on the flat surface to be drained above the top of the cover plate 8 addition, water can also enter through the annular slot 16 in the interior of the water outlet 1, this water is removed from a predetermined by the slats 16 calming and accordingly in turn no Has tendency to turbulence. The below the cover plate 8 from the inlet opening 10 to the drain opening 6 flowing water exerts on the water above the annular slot 16 a similar to a water jet pump suction, wherein the entering into the water flow below the cover plate 8 through the annular slot 16 water for calming and evening out the flow of water contributes, so that the water drain disposed of a maximum based on the given dimensions wastewater.

As low has been found, when the diameter of the cover plate 8 is about 320 mm, the plate member 4 about 300 mm, the drain opening 6 is about 70 mm and the trough 5 is about 130 mm, wherein the lamella height about 60 mm and the annular slot width about 15 mm can amount.

  3. Water drainage outlet according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the outer edge (12) of the fins (11) directly adjoins the outer edge (13) of the covering plate (8).
  4. Water drainage outlet according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that, between their outer edges (12), the fins (11) define openings (14) for passage through whose width in the circumferential direction corresponds to approximately half the average diameter of the pebbles in a pebble covering on the surface to be drained.
  5. Water drainage outlet according to claim 4, characterised in that the width of the openings (14) for passage through between adjacent fins (11) is approximately 10-30 mm and preferably approximately 20 mm.
  6. Water drainage outlet according to claim 4 or 5, characterised in that the height of the openings (14) for passage through between the outer edges (12) of the fins (11) corresponds to approximately 1.5-3 times, and preferably approximately twice, the width of the openings.
  7. Water drainage outlet according to claim 5 or 6, characterised in that the radial length of the fins (11) corresponds to approximately 1.5 - 2.5 times, and preferably approximately 1.75 times, the height of the openings (14) for passage through.
  8. Water drainage outlet according to one of claims 4 to 7, characterised in that the width of the annular slot (16) in the radial direction corresponds to approximately 0.5 - 1.5 times, and preferably approximately once, the width of the openings (14) for passage through between the outer edges of the fins (11).
  9. Water drainage outlet according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the outer edge (17) of the annular slot (16) is situated at a distance from the outer edge (13) of the covering plate (8) which corresponds at least approximately to the width of the annular slot.
  10. Water drainage outlet according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the covering plate (8) is provided on the underside with radially directed spacer bridges (9) standing on edge by which the capping body (3) is supported on the annular planar part (4) of the base body (2).
  11. Water drainage outlet according to claim 10 in combination with one of claims 4 to 8, characterised in that the height of the spacer bridges (9) is approximately 0.5 - 1.5 times, and preferably approximately once, the width of the openings (14) for passage through between the outer edges (12) of the fins (11).
  12. Water drainage outlet according to claim 10 or 11, characterised in that the inner ends of the spacer bridges (9) reach at least as far as the outer edge (15) of the bowl (5) in the base body (2).
  13. Water drainage outlet according to one of claims 10 to 12, characterised in that , at their inner ends, the spacer bridges (9) have downwardly directed projections which engage in the bowl, for securing the capping body (3) in position on the base body (2) radially.
  14. Water drainage outlet according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that radial directing ribs are provided in the bowl (4) as a means of braking vortexes.
