Definitions
- the invention relates to a water drainage for sealed flat surfaces, in particular roof drainage, with a base body which rests with an annular plate member on the flat surface to be drained or flush with the surface is embedded in the upper side, a central Trough part and an opening out of this bottom side central drain opening, to which a vertical drain pipe is connected, and with a cap body, which covers the drain opening with a central, flat cover plate.
- a drain device according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from EP-A-1 036 894.
- the attachment body consists of a lid with a closed surface, which prevents the entry of air into the drain pipe, and from a lid connected to the cylindrical screen body, which surrounds the drain opening and is provided with holes ,
- the invention is concerned with the problem of providing a water drain which can be constructed in a simple design, which provides an improved drainage performance in particular when the level of the water surrounding the water drain rises above the top of the cover plate.
- the water drain according to the invention secures by its additional water inlet via the annular slot from a range of calm flow with a nearly laminar flow course increased maximum water flow, a completely calmed water supply to the drain opening within the attachment body.
- certain water outlet 1 comprises a base body 2 and a top body 3.
- the base body 2 is provided with an annular plate member 4, which rests on the flat surface to be drained or the top flush with the surface is embedded in this.
- the base body 2 comprises a central bowl part 5, from the bottom side a central drain opening 6 opens, to which a drain pipe 7 connects, which engages in the installed position in the upper end of a drain pipe.
- the attachment body 3 has a flat, in the assembled position of the parts the trough part 2 centrally cross-cover plate 8, which is provided on the underside with at least three upstanding, radially aligned spacer webs 9, with which the attachment body 3 is supported on the annular plate member 4 of the base body 2 ,
- the spacer webs 9 are preferably distributed over the circumference of the cover plate 8 at equal angular intervals. Instead of three spacer webs 9 and their four or more can be provided.
- the cover plate 8 limits the plate part 4 of the base body 2 a circumferential inlet opening 10, which can be made relatively low in height, so that it is directly effective even as foliage and Steinfnatureer.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a water drainage for sealed flat surfaces, in particular roof drainage, with a base body which rests with an annular plate member on the flat surface to be drained or flush with the surface is embedded in the upper side, a central Trough part and an opening out of this bottom side central drain opening, to which a vertical drain pipe is connected, and with a cap body, which covers the drain opening with a central, flat cover plate.
A drain device according to the preamble of
In a known roof drainage of this type (DE 26 50 361), the attachment body consists of a lid with a closed surface, which prevents the entry of air into the drain pipe, and from a lid connected to the cylindrical screen body, which surrounds the drain opening and is provided with holes ,
It is also a water drainage of the type mentioned (WO 84/04126) is known in which the cover plate is also executed with a closed surface surrounded by radially aligned fins as Leitstegen, which are distributed at a uniform distance around the circumference of the cover plate and between them Limit flow openings. The rising from about the roof level to above the top of the cover slats are used to prevent vortex formation in the water flow on the way to the drain hole and the retention of leaves and gravel. The effect of the upper-side fins is essentially limited to the deciduous and gravel trap.
The invention is concerned with the problem of providing a water drain which can be constructed in a simple design, which provides an improved drainage performance in particular when the level of the water surrounding the water drain rises above the top of the cover plate.
The invention solves this problem by a water drainage with the features of
The water drain according to the invention secures by its additional water inlet via the annular slot from a range of calm flow with a nearly laminar flow course increased maximum water flow, a completely calmed water supply to the drain opening within the attachment body.

The particular as a roof drain on sealed flat roof surfaces
The
On the upper side, the
The
In the annular region occupied by the
As mentioned above, the height of the
If the water level on the flat surface to be drained above the top of the
As low has been found, when the diameter of the
