Description

The invention relates to a sequence, in particular for floor-level showers, with a drain housing having a laterally arranged connection piece and at its top an inlet opening, a cup-shaped or cup-shaped, connection piece-free bottom part, which is liquid-tightly connected to the drain housing, and a dip tube element, which is formed from at least two pipe sections and can be inserted via the inlet opening into the drain housing and defines a trap with this.

Such a process is from the WO 2007/110595 A2 known. The process shown there has a drain housing and a liquid-tight connected cup-shaped bottom part. The drain housing has a first, top side arranged inlet opening and two laterally arranged connecting pieces, which define an inlet and a discharge nozzle. Furthermore, the drain has a dip tube element which can be inserted into the drain housing via the upper inlet opening, is formed from two tube sections and defines an odor trap with the drain housing. The pipe sections can be moved coaxially with each other to change the axial length of the dip tube element.

Weitere ähnliche Abläufe sind beispielsweise aus der DE 20 2005 012 802 U1 oder der DE 20 2005 017 965 U1 bekannt.Other similar processes are for example from the DE 20 2005 012 802 U1 or the DE 20 2005 017 965 U1 known.

The for the construction of a floor level shower in a bathroom floor existing or producible space for receiving a an odor trap having bottom drain housing is usually limited. Because of the concrete floor or the concrete ceiling below the shower should not be overly broken or weakened for reasons of security and / or fire safety. Furthermore, there is a desire for low screed heights, especially in the field of old building renovation. Therefore, numerous relatively flat floor drains with odor trap have already been developed.

In many cases, however, a sufficiently deep installation space for receiving a floor drain with integrated odor trap is available, so that then there is the possibility of relatively large dimensions of the sealing water level in the odor trap.

The present invention has for its object to provide a drain with odor trap especially for floor-level showers, which can be flexibly adapted to different installation situations, so that its height, sealing water level and drain performance is variable.

This object is achieved by a sequence with the features of claim 1.

The inventive process is characterized in that the bottom part is height-adjustable connected to the drain housing, and that the at least two pipe sections of the dip tube element to change the axial length of the dip tube element coaxially rotatable or displaceable to each other.

The present invention has for its object to provide a drain with odor trap especially for floor-level showers, which can be flexibly adapted to different installation situations, so that its height, sealing water level and drain performance is variable.

This object is achieved by a sequence with the features of claim 1.

The sequence of the invention is characterized in that the bottom part is height-adjustable and liquid-tightly connected to the drain housing, and that its immersion tube element is formed from at least two pipe sections which are mutually coaxially rotatable or displaceable to change the axial length of the dip tube element.

The advantage of the sequence according to the invention is, in particular, that it does not have fixed parameters with regard to the installation height, sealing water level and drainage capacity, as in the case of a conventional drainage, but can be set variably in a simple manner in this regard in the field. The setting can be made depending on the need in each case in the foreground. For example, if the lowest possible height (total height) required, this can be realized by appropriate height adjustment of the bottom part relative to the drain body. The axial length of the dip tube element is then adaptable to the set total height, in which respect one at a low total height of the Drain maximum water level, or maximized drain performance, or compromise between maximized water seal height and maximized drain performance. The setting of the sequence according to the invention is carried out as a function of the parameter which is just important in the respective situation.

In order to enable a simple, continuous height adjustment of the bottom part relative to the drain body, a preferred embodiment of the sequence according to the invention provides that the bottom part and the drain body are each provided with a thread, which are screwed together.

The screw thread between the bottom part and drain housing is preferably designed so that it has a sealing function with respect to liquids without the use of an additional seal.

Conveniently, however, may be arranged according to an alternative embodiment between the bottom part and the drain housing, an annular seal and / or the bottom part have an annular sealing surface defining collar.

In order to adjust the length of the dip tube element also in a simple way continuously, provides a further preferred embodiment of the sequence according to the invention, that the pipe sections of the dip tube element are each provided with a thread, which are screwed together.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the sequence according to the invention it is provided that the dip tube element defines with the bottom part and / or the drain housing an annular discharge channel whose cross-sectional width increases from bottom to top. This embodiment promotes reliable liquid drainage and also counteracts unwanted suction of the sealing water in the odor trap at a negative pressure in the sewer connected to the drain.

A further advantageous embodiment of the sequence according to the invention provides that the drain housing has an overflow edge extending transversely to the longitudinal central axis of the connecting piece, wherein in the discharge flow direction, a flow channel enlargement is formed in front of the overflow edge, which narrows towards the overflow edge. The drainage channel extension is preferably formed at least partially by a bead formed on the inside of the drainage housing. At the drainage channel enlargement or the bead can form an air gap in a vacuum of the sealing water due to a vacuum in the connected sewer line, which eliminates the vacuum in the sewer line and thus prevents loss of the blocking effect of the odor trap.

Particularly advantageous is an embodiment in which the drainage channel extension is part of a horizontal, disc-shaped drainage channel section which is delimited by the dip tube element and the drainage housing, wherein the volume of this disc-shaped drainage channel section greater than or equal to the volume within the dip tube element, which is bounded by an upper, tangent to the overflow edge horizontal plane and by a lower, tangent to the lower end of the dip tube element extending horizontal plane. By this configuration, it is ensured that the relatively small volume of water within the dip tube (immersion tube element) is partially or completely absorbed in the volume of the horizontal drain channel portion at a suction due to a vacuum in the connected sewer and can flow back to the absence of the vacuum, so that always enough Wastewater remains in the drain and thus the blocking function of the odor trap is ensured.

The drainage channel extension or the said volume of the horizontal drainage channel disk section represent a suction protection, which makes it possible to form the drain particularly flat, so that it has a relatively low overall height.

Further preferred embodiments of the process according to the invention are specified in the subclaims.

The sequence 1, 1 'comprises a housing 1.1 and a cup-shaped or cup-shaped bottom part 1.2. On its upper side, the outlet 1, 1 'has an inlet opening 1.3. The inlet opening 1.3 is formed in a cover part 1.4, which is liquid-tightly connected to the housing 1.1, preferably welded or glued. The bottom part 1.2 has no connection piece for connecting a sewer pipe (not shown). Rather, a corresponding connection piece 1.5 is arranged laterally on the drain housing 1.1. The connecting piece 1.5 is connected via a welded or adhesive connection with the drain housing 1.1 and the cover part 1.4.

The drain 1, 1 'further comprises a dip tube element 2 which can be inserted into the drain housing 1.1 via the inlet opening 1.3 and defines a trap with it. The inlet opening 1.3 is viewed in vertical section stepped. It comprises an upper, annular peripheral shoulder 1.31, in which a sealing film (not shown) may extend with a slope in the direction of immersion tube element. The sealing film can, for example, in the form of an initially liquid Sealant, ie a so-called liquid film are applied. Below the upper paragraph 1.31 is a second, also annular peripheral paragraph 1.32 formed in the cover part 1.4 of the flow. The second paragraph 1.32 serves the positive reception of a frame or adapter (not shown), in turn, a drain grate is used.

The dip tube element 2 has near its upper end an externally arranged annular groove 2.3 for receiving a sealing ring. The sealing ring (not shown) inserted into the annular groove 2.3 effects a frictional connection between the immersion tube element 2 and the drain housing 1.1 or its cover part 1.4.

The bottom part 1.2 of the drain 1, 1 'has a substantially planar bottom 1.21 with a conical, projecting into the dip tube element 2 bottom portion 1.22. The conical bottom section 1.22 improves the deflection of the draining liquid in the region of the bottom 1.21. As a result, a backflow of the outflowing liquid is counteracted at relatively high liquid supply and thus improves the drainage performance.

The bottom part 1.2 of the process is height-adjustable connected to the housing 1.1. For this purpose, the bottom part 1.2 and the drain body 1.1 each have a circular cylindrical section 1.11, 1.23, on which screwed together thread 1.12, 1.24 are formed. In the illustrated embodiments, the cup-shaped bottom part 1.2 an internal thread 1.24 and the bottom part associated circular cylindrical section 1.11 of the drain body 1.1 an external thread 1.12.

The threaded connection between the bottom part 1.2 and drain housing 1.1 according to the FIGS. 1 and 2 is preferably formed self-sealing, so that there is no liquid-tight connection without an additional sealant, which also allows height adjustment of the bottom part 1.2 relative to the drain body 1.1.

Another possibility for the realization of a liquid-tight connection, which allows a height adjustment of the bottom part relative to the drain housing is in Fig. 3 outlined. The embodiment shown there differs from the embodiment according to the FIGS. 1 and 2 in that between the bottom part 1.2 'and the drain housing 1.1 an annular seal 3 is arranged. For this purpose, the bottom part 1.2 'has a collar 1.25 or cylindrical inner ring web defining an annular sealing surface. Near the upper end of the collar (inner ring web) 1.25 is in the outer side of an annular groove 1.26 formed, in which a sealing ring 3 is inserted, which in the assembled state of the bottom part 1.2 'sealingly against the inside of the circular cylindrical portion 1.11 of the drain body 1.1.

The dip tube element 2 is formed in the illustrated embodiments in each case of two pipe sections 2.1, 2.2, the coaxially connected to each other are to the length of the dip tube element 2 to the over the height adjustment of the bottom part 1.2, 1.2 'set total height of the sequence 1, 1' to adjust or to set the sealing water level or the drainage capacity depending on the requirements placed on the flow can.

The pipe sections 2.1, 2.2 are each provided with a thread 2.11, 2.21 and bolted together. Preferably, the upper pipe section 2.1, the external thread 2.11 and the lower pipe section 2.2, the matching internal thread 2.21.

The sealing water level can be increased by turning down the lower pipe section 2.2 relative to the upper pipe section 2.1, wherein a reduction in the distance between the lower end of the dip tube element 2 and the bottom 1.21 of the bottom part 1.2 to a reduction of the annular cross-sectional width and thus to a reduction of the drainage performance of Runs leads.

The lower tube section 2.2 of the dip tube element 2 is designed to be conical or funnel-shaped towards its lower end. Likewise, the upper pipe section 2.1 is extended to its upper end conical or funnel-shaped. The degree of expansion or the radius of curvature is formed differently. In the drawing, it can be seen that the axial length-related degree of expansion at the lower end of the dip tube element 2 is significantly greater than at its upper end. The axiallength - related degree of expansion is more than twice as large at the lower end than at the upper end of the Immersion tube element 2. Accordingly, the radius of curvature of the throat area considered in the vertical section at the lower end of the dip tube element 2 is considerably smaller than the radius of curvature of the outer throat area on the upper tube section 2.1.

The dip tube element 2 defines with the bottom part 1.2 and / or the drain housing 1.1 an annular drain channel (annulus) 4, the cross-sectional width increases from bottom to top.

Fig. 1). Furthermore, the drain housing 1.1 has a overflow edge 1.6 extending transversely to the longitudinal central axis of the connecting piece 1.5. Before the overflow edge - seen in the discharge flow direction - a flow channel extension 1.7 is formed, which narrows towards the overflow edge 1.6 (see. Fig. 1 ). The flow channel extension 1.7 is at least partially formed by a bead formed in the drain housing 1.1 on the inside.

The drainage channel extension 1.7 is part of a horizontal, disk-shaped discharge channel section 1.8, which is delimited by the dip tube element 2 and the drainage housing 1.1. The volume of this disc-shaped discharge channel section is greater than or equal to the volume within the dip tube element 2, which is bounded by an upper horizontal plane H1 extending tangentially to the overflow edge 1.6 and by a lower horizontal plane H2 extending tangentially to the lower end of the dip tube element 2.

The embodiment of the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments. Rather, numerous variants are possible, which make use even in deviating from the embodiments of the invention specified in the appended claims invention. Thus, the length adjustability of the dip tube element 2 can also be achieved, for example, by virtue of the fact that its at least two tube sections 2.1, 2.2 are displaceable coaxially with one another, for example in the manner of a telescope. Further, between the pipe sections 2.1, 2.2 of the dip tube element 2, a circumferential seal, for example in the form of a sealing ring (not shown) may be arranged.
