Description

  • Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Darbieten von lichtempfindlichen Lebensmitteln, insbesondere von Chicorée.
  • Derzeit wird das Lebensmittel Chicorée, das beim Einzelhändler in Transportkisten verpackt ankommt, vom Lebensmitteleinzelhändler in ein Verkaufsregal gelegt und dem Kunden zum Kauf angeboten. Das Lebensmittel Chicorée ist dabei nicht vor äußeren Einflüssen, wie insbesondere Licht, geschützt. Da das Lebensmittel Chicorée aber unter dem Einfluss von Licht seine Färbung von nahezu weiß in mehr und mehr grün ändert und mit zunehmender Grünfärbung dieses Lebensmittel auch zunehmend bitterer wird, wird es nach einer gewissen Zeit unverkäuflich. Um dies zu verhindern, bieten manche Einzelhändler das Lebensmittel Chicorée in der Transportverpackung an, was jedoch den Nachteil hat, dass diese je nach Lieferant unterschiedlich ausgebildet und dadurch der Inhalt vom Kunden schwierig zu identifizieren ist, was zur Folge hat, dass der Kunde die Ware nicht erkennt und somit nicht kauft. Eine Alternative hierzu bietet sich dem Lebensmitteleinzelhändler durch die Verwendung von lichtundurchlässigen und damit undurchsichtigen Folien, was jedoch dem Grunde nach ähnliche Nachteile mit sich bringt. Eine derartige Folie bedeutet entweder Luftabschluss, was zu Feuchtigkeitsproblemen führt, oder Warenverlust, wenn sie zu oft und zu lange aufgedeckt bleibt.
  • Aus der DE 92 05 964 U1 ist eine Verpackungsschachtel für Obst und Gemüse bekannt, die ein Unterteil mit umlaufenden Seitenwänden sowie ein Oberteil als Deckel, der über einen oberen Bereich des Unterteils gestülpt ist, besitzt. Unterteil und Oberteil sind mit Verriegelungselementen versehen. Diese bekannte Verpackungsschachtel dient, begrifflich gesehen, zum Verpacken des betreffenden Lebensmittels und nicht zu dessen Darbietung beim Verkauf.
  • Aus der US 1 465 650 A ist eine Vorrichtung zum Aufbewahren und Darbieten von Gebäck in hygienisch einwandfreier Weise bekannt. Diese Vorrichtung besitzt ein bodenseitig offenes Behältnis mit einem Deckel, in dessen Rahmen eine Glasplatte gehalten ist und der in aufrechter Position in einen bleibenden Öffnungszustand gebracht werden kann. Für ein hygienisches Aufbewahren greift der Deckel in geschlossenem Zustand über und um einen nach innen gezogenen Rand des Behältnisses. Der Deckel der Vorrichtung soll die Deckel der dort aufzubewahrenden und mit dem betreffenden Gebäck bestückten Kartons ersetzen. Aufgrund der Glasplatte im Deckel ist ein Schutz lichtempfindlicher Lebensmittel nicht möglich. Da der Deckel der bekannten Vorrichtung in einen sich selbsthaltenden Öffnungszustand gebracht werden kann, muss er vom Kunden bewusst wieder geschlossen werden.
  • Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es deshalb, eine Vorrichtung zum Darbieten von lichtempfindlichen Lebensmitteln, insbesondere von Chicorée, der genannten Art zu schaffen, die einerseits das Lebensmittel lichtgeschützt darbieten kann und die andererseits optisch eine zusagende und für den Kunden akzeptable Darbietung für den Verkauf gestattet.
  • Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe sind bei einer Vorrichtung der genannten Art die im Anspruch 1 angegebenen Merkmale vorgesehen.
  • Durch die erfindungsgemäßen Maßnahmen ist einerseits erreicht, dass der Lichteinfluss auf dieses lichtempfindliche Lebensmittel in der Verkaufstheke erheblich reduziert ist, da das Lebensmittel lichtgeschützt und das Zugriffselement nur bei Bedarf zum Entnehmen des Lebensmittels geöffnet wird. Außerdem bleibt der Deckel tatsächlich nur soweit und solange geöffnet, wie der Kunde es zum Entnehmen des Lebensmittels aus dem Behältnis benötigt. Durch das randseitig umlaufende Überstehen des Deckels ist außerdem eine lichtdichte Abdeckung des Deckels auf den Seitenwänden des Behältnisses erreicht. Dies bedeutet eine erhebliche Reduzierung von nichtverkaufsfähigen Lebensmitteln. Außerdem ist die Darbietung des Lebensmittels verkaufseffektiver und sauberer und es ergeben sich reduzierte Handhabungskosten.
  • Der selbstschließende Deckel kann als Schiebedeckel oder in bevorzugter Weise gemäß den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 2 als ein- oder zweiflügliger Deckel ausgebildet sein. Die Flügellösung hat den Vorteil der Einfachheit.
  • Ein für den Kunden sehr einfaches Öffnen ergibt sich durch die Merkmale nach Anspruch 3. Außerdem kann es dabei zweckmäßig sein, die Griffleiste an den Deckel anzuformen.
  • Gemäß den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 4 und/oder 5 kann es zweckmäßig sein, das Scharnierelement in Form eines Scharnierbandes entweder beidendig am betreffenden Element festzulegen oder, um eine bessere Reinigung der Seitenwände zu erreichen, am Behältnis aufsteckbar auszubilden.
  • Zur Darstellung des Inhalts des Behältnisses ist es zweckmäßig, gemäß den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 6 den Deckel zu bedrucken.
  • Eine weitere Möglichkeit, das Lebensmittel innerhalb des Behältnisses über eine längere Zeitdauer aufzubewahren, ergibt sich durch die Merkmale nach Anspruch 7.
  • Weitere Einzelheiten der Erfindung sind der folgenden Beschreibung zu entnehmen, in der die Erfindung anhand des in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispieles näher beschrieben und erläutert ist.

  • Die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Vorrichtung 10 dient zum Darbieten von lichtempfindlichen Lebensmitteln, wie beispielsweise Chicorée.
  • Die Vorrichtung 10 besitzt die Form eines quaderförmigen Behältnisses 11, das vier zu einem geschlossenen Rahmen 18einstückig miteinander verbundene umlaufende Seitenwände 12, 13, 14 und 15 aufweist. Das Behältnis 11 ist beim dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ohne Boden, besitzt jedoch ein Zugriffselement zum Innenraum 16 des Behältnisses 11 in Form eines hier einflügligen Deckels 17. Das gesamte Behältnis 11, d.h. die Seitenwände 12 bis 15 sowie der Deckel 17 sind aus einem lichtundurchlässigen Material, vorzugsweise aus einem lichtundurchlässigen, ggf. eingefärbten Kunststoff hergestellt.
  • Die zum umlaufenden und geschlossenen Rahmen 18 zusammengefügten Seitenwände 12 bis 15 besitzen abgerundete Kanten, wobei der Rahmen 18 etwa quaderförmig ist. Der auf dem Rahmen 18 aufliegende Deckel 17 besitzt eine größere Grundlfäche derart, dass der Deckel 17 randseitig umlaufend über die Außenflächen der Seitenwände 12 bis 15 hinausragt. Der etwa rechteckförmige Deckel 17, ist an einem Schmalseitenbereich über ein Gelenk oder Scharnier 19 mit der betreffenden schmalen Seitenwand 13 klappbar verbunden und besitzt an seinem dem Scharnier 19 abgewandten Ende eine einstückig rinnenförmig um- und rückgebogene Griffleiste 21, die im wesentlichen über die gesamte Schmalseite des Deckels 17 verläuft. Anhand der Griffleiste 21 kann der Deckel 17 um die Achse des Scharniers 19 in Richtung gemäß Pfeil A gegenüber dem Rahmen 18 verschwenkt werden. Der Deckel 17 ist auf seiner Außenseite bzw. Sichtfläche zur Darstellung des Inhalts des Behältnisses 11 bedruckt.
  • Gemäß Figur 2A ist das Scharnier 19 als Scharnierband aus Kunststoff ausgebildet, dessen beide Schenkel 23 und 24 mit der Unterseite des Deckels 17 bzw. mit der Außenseite der Seitenwand 13 fest verbunden, beispielsweise verklebt oder verschweißt ist. Das Scharnierband besitzt zwischen den Schenkeln 23 und 24 eine Kerbe 25 zur leichteren Verschwenkbarkeit, um die die Schwenkachse darstellende Schenkelverbindung.
  • Figur 2B zeigt eine andere Ausführungsform eines Scharnierbandes 19', bei dem ein Schenkel 23' an der Unterseite des Deckels 17 befestigt, vorzugsweise verklebt oder verschweißt ist. Der Schenkel 23' ist an seinem inneren Ende mit dem einen Schenkel 26' im Querschnitt als U-förmiges Rastprofil zum verrastenden Aufstecken auf bzw. über die Schmalseitenwand 13 ausgebildet ist, die in diesem Bereich mit einer Ausklinkung versehen ist. Mit anderen Worten, die Scharnierleiste 19' verläuft lediglich über einen bestimmten mittleren Bereich der Schmalseitenwand 13.
  • Zwischen dem am Deckel 17' gehaltenen Schenkel 23' und dem an der Schmalseitenwand 13 über das Rastprofil 26' gehaltenen Schenkel 24' ist eine Kerbe 25' zur leichteren Schwenkbarkeit vorgesehen. Somit ist der Deckel 17' am Rahmen 18 abnehmbar gehalten.
  • Aus den Figuren 2A und 2B ergibt sich, dass der Deckel 17, 17' anhand der Griffleiste 21, 21' angehoben werden kann, so dass der Zugriff zum Innenraum 16 des Rahmens 18 erfolgen kann. Lässt man die Griffleiste 21, 21' los, so gelangt der Deckel 17, 17' automatisch bzw. ohne weiteres in seine den Innenraum 16 vor Licht schützende Lage auf die Oberkante des Rahmens 18 zurück. Der Deckel 17 ist damit selbstschließend.
  • In nicht dargestellter Weise kann der Deckel 17 auch als zweiflügiger Deckel ausgebildet sein, welche beiden Flügel dann an ihren einander abgewandten Längsseitenrändern an den langen Seitenwänden 12 bzw. 14 befestigt bzw. aufsteckbar gehalten sind. An ihren einander zugewandten Längsrändern besitzen die Deckelhälften jeweils eine Griffleiste oder dergleichen.
  • Des Weiteren ist es möglich, statt des Klappdeckels einen Schiebedeckel in einer Nutführung am Rahmen 18 vorzusehen.
  • Es versteht sich, dass die Vorrichtung 10 nicht nur für lichtempfindliche Lebensmittel, wie Chicorée, vorgesehen sein kann; die Lebensmittel können auch vor anderen Einflüssen, wie Wärme, Kälte, Zugluft, Feuchtigkeit, Trockenheit dadurch geschützt werden, dass innerhalb des Rahmens 18 eine entsprechende Feuchtigkeits- und/oder Temperiereinrichtung vorgesehen ist.
  • Der mit dem Deckel 17 versehene bodenlose Rahmen 18 wird zur Aufnahme des betreffenden Lebensmittel bzw. zur Verkaufsdarbietung auf eine in Lebensmitteleinzelhandelsgeschäften übliche Unterlage gebracht, die den Boden für die Vorrichtung 10 bildet.

Claims (7)

  1. Vorrichtung (10) zum Darbieten von lichtempfindlichen Lebensmitteln, insbesondere von Chicorée, bestehend aus einem bodenlosen Behältnis (11) mit rahmenartig umlaufenden Seitenwänden (12 bis 15) und mit einem Zugriffselement (17) zum Entnehmen des betreffenden Lebensmittels, wobei das Zugriffselement durch einen selbsttätig schließenden Deckel (17) gebildet ist, der an einer der Seitenwände (13) nahe seinem einen Randbereich angelenkt ist und umlaufend randseitig über die rahmenartig umlaufenden Seitenwände (12 bis 15) übersteht und auf diesen aufliegt, und wobei die Seitenwände (12 bis 15) und das Zugriffselement (17) aus einem lichtundurchlässigen Material, beispielsweise Kunststoff sind.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (17) ein- oder zweiflüglig ausgebildet ist.
  3. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (17) der Anlenkung (19) abgewandt mit einer vorzugsweise angeformten Griffleiste (21) versehen ist.
  4. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (17) mit einem Scharnierelement (19) vorzugsweise einem Scharnierband verbunden ist, das an der betreffenden Seitenwand (13) befestigbar ist.
  5. vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Scharnierelement 19 mit seinem der Verbindung zum Deckel (17) abgewandten Ende an der betreffenden Seitenwand (13) lösbar rastend aufsteckbar gehalten ist.
  6. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Oberseite des Behältnisses (11) bzw. der Deckel (17) bedruckt ist.
  7. Vorrichtung nach mindestens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Behältnis (11) mit einer Befeuchtungs- bzw. Temperierungsanordnung versehen ist.
