Definitions

  • the invention relates to an arrangement of a cross-country or telemark binding and darau adapted shoes, the soles each at a distance from the front sole end, in particular behind, behind or in the metatarsophalangeal zone have a sole-side engagement member which cooperates with a complementary binding-side engagement member such that the heel is freely raised, and a shoe, in particular for connection to such a binding.
  • a suitable for such an arrangement shoe is for example from the US 6,289,610 B1 known.
  • the shoe comprises an engagement axis which is arranged transversely to the longitudinal axis of the shoe and which is substantially U-shaped and arranged in a sole recess.
  • Such a binding and an adapted shoe are from the WO 01/93963 A1 , which goes back to the applicant known. In the present case, it is about the further development of the arrangement described therein, which is in particular to create a simpler and yet functionally reliable arrangement with respect to the construction.
  • the gist of the present invention is to form a sole-side protrusion between the sole-side engaging member and the front sole end, which projection is to be abuttable against a binding-side abutment such that the shoe is held in engagement with the binding-side engaging member while simultaneously rocking allowed to an imaginary axis behind the stop or sole side projection.
  • the binding-side stop is a simple component as well as the sole-side projection.
  • the sole-side engaging member is held in engagement with the binding-side engaging member.
  • the binding-side stop is mounted longitudinally displaceable and by means of an actuating device from a front Schuhokgabe- or -inumbleswolf in a rear closed position and vice versa movable.
  • the binding-side engagement element is supported immovably in this embodiment. However, it must be designed so that the heel can be lifted freely.
  • the binding-side engaging element is pivotally mounted upwards, namely about a horizontal transverse axis.
  • the binding-side engaging element and thus a shoe connected thereto against the action of an elastic element in particular a helical compression spring is pivotally upwards.
  • This helical compression spring acts as a return element for the shoe or ski such that the ski is pressed into contact with the shoe sole. This function is particularly important in the so-called diagonal step.
  • the binding-side engagement element in one embodiment comprises an engagement hook which is open towards the front and part of a rigid pivot bracket whose front end is pivoted to a horizontal transverse axis.
  • a rigid swivel bracket allows more precise movements and is preferred in this respect.
  • the sole-side projection comprises a transverse web, which is preferably part of a U-shaped metal bracket whose legs are embedded in the sole material.
  • the sole-side engagement element is in a conventional manner a transverse axis disposed within a sole recess, within which the sole-side projection is also arranged.
  • the abutment surface of the binding-side abutment is designed and dimensioned so that when raising and lowering of the shoe heel of the sole-side protrusion upwards along this abutment surface is moved up and down without the connection between the sole side and binding-side engagement element will be annulled.
  • the binding-side stop comprises a transverse groove for receiving the transverse web of the sole-side projection, wherein the front boundary wall of the transverse groove serves as a stop surface.
  • the shoe is at substantially flat front sole on an upwardly curved support surface, or rolled in a correspondingly arched front sole on a substantially flat support surface.
  • the curvature of the support surface or front sole extends in the longitudinal direction of the sole in order to obtain the aforementioned rocking effect.
  • the shoe is in a specific embodiment of the present invention by a the front sole end, in particular below the same or arranged front Flexor on the one hand and by a in the area of the metatarsophalangeal zone, in particular the posterior flexor arranged in front of it, so that the raising of the heel is first effected against the action of the posterior and anterior flexor, in the final phase only against the action of the anterior flexor.
  • the shoe therefore rolls off under compression or decompression of the front and rear flexors on the binding housing or on the support surface associated with the front sole end. Both flexors serve to keep the front sole end always in contact with the ski or binding.
  • the effect of the two flexors is that the ski is held parallel to the sole or its tread when the shoe is raised. Ski and shoe are therefore balanced accordingly.
  • the present invention also relates to a shoe, the sole of which is a distance from the front sole end, in particular behind, behind or in the area of the metatarsophalangeal zone, preferably arranged in front of the same binding engagement element, in particular in the form of a transverse axis, and between this and the front sole end has a downwardly projecting projection.
  • the sole-side engagement element and the sole-side projection are arranged within a lower (longitudinal) recess, which is preferably designed to be open both downwards and forwards.
  • the sole-side projection comprises a transverse web which, in a preferred embodiment, is in particular part of a U-bar embedded in the sole material made of metal, hard plastic or the like, of a rigid and resistant material. Since this is an anchoring technique known per se, it does not need to be discussed in detail here.
  • FIG. 1-4 an arrangement of a cross-country or telemark binding 10 and a darau adapted shoe 11 is shown in side and top view, on the top surface of a ski, not shown can be mounted.
  • the sole 12 of the shoe 11 has a sole-side engagement element 15 in the form of a horizontal transverse axis 15 arranged within a sole longitudinal recess, which interacts with a complementary engagement element 16 on the binding side such that Shoe heel is freely liftable, as is this Fig. 3 lets recognize.
  • Fig. 3 an arrangement of a cross-country or telemark binding 10 and a darau adapted shoe 11 is shown in side and top view, on the top surface of a ski, not shown can be mounted.
  • the sole-side engagement element 15 is defined by a U-shaped rigid bracket made of light metal, stainless steel or plastic, whose forwardly projecting legs are pivotally mounted at their front free ends about a horizontal transverse axis 18. Accordingly, the binding-side engaging element 16 is pivotable about the axis 18, against the action of an elastic element, here in the form of two helical compression springs 19 each associated with a leg 17.
  • an elastic element here in the form of two helical compression springs 19 each associated with a leg 17.
  • the two legs 17 of the binding-side engagement element 16 each extend over the pivot axis 18 upwardly and forward projecting extensions 20, between which on the one hand and the binding housing on the other hand, the helical compression springs 19 are clamped.
  • the extensions 20 are formed in the illustrated embodiment each L-shaped with the one leg about the pivot axis 18 upwardly projecting and with the other leg projecting forward into the respective helical compression spring.
  • the helical compression springs 19 serve to return the binding-side engaging element 16 in a position approximately parallel to the ski deck according to the Fig. 1 and 2 , They replace the known "flexor", which is effective in conventional cross-country bindings between the front sole end on the one hand and the binding housing on the other.
  • the shoe 11 or its paragraph is thus counter to the action of the helical compression springs 19 accordingly Fig. 3 raised.
  • the binding-side engagement element 16 has an engagement hook 21 which is open toward the front and which engages with the sole-side engagement element 15, which is in the form of a transverse axis Fig. 1-3 can be brought into engagement.
  • This engagement is made when entering the binding by the user when entering the transverse axis 15 pushes under the engagement hooks 21, and then make the fixation of the shoe, as will be explained below.
  • a projection 22 is formed between the sole side engaging member 15 and the front sole end 13 of the sole 12 so that it can be brought into contact with a binding-side stop 23 (see Fig. 2 in relation to Fig. 1 ), such that the shoe is held in engagement with the binding-side engaging element 15 and at the same time a rocking movement (see double-headed arrow 24 in FIG Fig. 3 ) is allowed to an imaginary transverse axis behind the stop 23 and sole-side projection 22.
  • the sole-side projection 22 comprises a transverse web 25 (see Fig. 6 ), which is part of a U-shaped metal bracket, whose legs 26 (see 6 and 7 ) are embedded in the sole material.
  • connection-side stop 23 is longitudinally displaceable (see double arrow 27 in FIG Fig. 1 ) and by means of an actuator with operating lever 28 and over-center mechanism 29 from a corresponding Fig. 1 Front Schuhokgabe- or -inumbleswolf in one according to Fig. 2 rear closed position and vice versa movable.
  • the sole side projection 22 or the transverse web 25 of the same associated abutment surface 30 of the binding-side stop 23 is formed and dimensioned so that when raising and lowering of the shoe heel of the shoe 25 of the sole-side projection 22 without forcing up this abutment surface 30 is moved up and down.
  • the transverse web 25 of the projection 22 is located at the upper end of the abutment surface 30 (see FIG Fig. 2 ), where there is still a rearwardly extending limiting lug, wherein when lifting the shoe heel of this crosspiece along the stop surface 30 moves downward in a position accordingly Fig.
  • the abutment surface 30 may be coated with a low-friction plastic (Teflon®).
  • Teflon® a low-friction plastic
  • the transverse web 25 is rotatably mounted about its longitudinal axis or comprises a sleeve rotatably mounted about its longitudinal axis.
  • the binding-side stop 23 has a transverse groove 31 for receiving the transverse web 25 of the sole-side projection 22, wherein the front boundary wall of the transverse groove serves as a stop surface 30.
  • the front boundary wall of the transverse groove serves as a stop surface 30.
  • the upper support surface 32 of the binding or the binding housing is curved upwards in the longitudinal direction. On this arched support surface 32 of the shoe with a substantially flat sole 12 when lifting the shoe heel is unrolled. In the final phase when lifting the heel, the support of the shoe via two the front sole end associated front flexors 33. These two flexors 33 are each positioned laterally outside of the binding-side engaging member 16, as is Fig. 4 lets recognize.
  • the final phase of the relative movement between the shoe and ski or binding when lifting the heel is controlled and in particular maintained the contact between shoe and ski, which is in this final phase to a flat contact between the shoe or its sole and the ski ,
  • the contact between shoe and ski is more linear due to the rolling of the sole 12 on the upwardly curved support surface 32nd
  • a rear centrally disposed flexor 34 is arranged, which holds the shoe relative to the binding or ski in conjunction with the front flexors 33 in balance.
  • the binding can be adapted by the flexors 33, 34 and springs 19 to different running styles and users. For example, very hard flexors 33, 34 and springs 19 are preferably used for skating.
  • FIGS. 5 and 7 Incidentally, it can still be seen that the sole-side engagement element 15 and the sole-side projection 22 are arranged within a lower sole longitudinal recess 35 such that they project beyond the running side of the sole neither forward nor downwards.
  • Corresponding Fig. 6 is the sole-side projection 22 is less wide than the longitudinal recess 35. Accordingly, the two legs 17 of the binding-side engaging member 16, the sole-side projection 22 each pass laterally. That is, the legs 17 of the binding-side engaging element 16 do not collide with the sole-side projection 22 even when the heel is lowered. In this way, an extremely compact arrangement is achieved.
  • the transverse axis 15, like the sole-side projection 22, consists of metal, plastic or the like, rigid and resistant material.
  • the sole-side projection 22 may also be plate-shaped. For reasons of weight saving, however, a U-bracket is appropriate Fig. 6 more advantageous.
  • the binding housing together with binding plate is indicated by the reference numeral 36.
  • the binding plate may have on its upper side in a conventional manner longitudinal guide ribs 37 which correspond with corresponding Lekss Adjustsnuten 38 at the bottom or running side of the sole 12.
  • the distance between the sole-side engaging element 15 and the sole-side projection 22 is about 15-25 mm, in particular about 20 mm.
  • the distance between the front sole end 13 and the sole-side projection 22 is about 10 mm.
