Definitions
- the invention relates to a cross-country or telemark binding for shoes whose soles in each case at a distance from the front sole end, in particular before, behind or in the area the metatarsophalangeal zone have a sole-side engagement element, which interacts with a complementary binding-side engagement element in such a way that the heel can be lifted freely, as well as a shoe, in particular for connection to such a bond.
- the gist of the present invention resides in Forming a sole-side projection between the sole-side engagement element and the front sole end, this projection in abutment with a binding side Stop to be brought so that the shoe with the binding side Engagement element is held in engagement and at the same time a rocking movement about a imaginary axis behind the stop or sole side projection allowed.
- the binding-side stop is a simple component as well as the sole-side projection.
- the sole-side engaging element is engaged with the binding-side engaging element held.
- the binding-side stop is longitudinally displaceable stored and by means of an actuator from a front shoe release or initial position in a rear closed position and vice versa movable.
- the binding-side engaging element is mounted immovably in this embodiment. However, it must be designed so that the heel can be lifted freely.
- the binding-side engaging element is upwards pivotally mounted, namely about a horizontal transverse axis.
- a preferred Embodiment is the binding-side engaging element and thus a connected thereto Shoe against the action of an elastic element, in particular one Helical compression spring swiveled upwards.
- This helical compression spring acts as Restoring element for the shoe or ski such that the ski in contact with the shoe sole is urged. This function is particularly important in the so-called diagonal step.
- the binding-side engagement element in one embodiment comprises an engagement hook, which is open towards the front and part of a rigid swivel bracket, whose front end is articulated pivotably on a horizontal transverse axis.
- a rigid swivel bracket in vertical plane bending elastic is formed, in particular leaf spring-like.
- a rigid swivel bracket however allows more precise movements and is preferred in this respect.
- the sole-side projection comprises a transverse web, which preferably forms part of a U-shaped metal strap is, whose legs are embedded in the sole material.
- the Sohlen usede engagement element can in a conventional manner, a within a Sole recess be arranged transverse axis, within which also the sole side Projection is arranged.
- the abutment surface of the binding-side abutment is designed and dimensioned, that when raising and lowering the shoe heel of the crosspiece of the sole side Projection can be moved up and down along this stop surface without forcing, without that the connection between the sole side and the binding side engagement element will be annulled.
- the binding-side comprises Stop a transverse groove for receiving the crosspiece of the sole-side projection, wherein the front boundary wall of the transverse groove serves as a stop surface.
- the shoe is at a substantially flat front sole on an upwardly curved Support surface, or at a correspondingly curved front sole on a substantially unrolled flat support surface.
- the curvature of support surface or front sole Of course, extends in the sole longitudinal direction to the mentioned rocking effect receive.
- the shoe is in a special embodiment of the present Invention by a front sole end, in particular below the same or arranged front flexor on the one hand and by a in the field of metatarsophalangeal zone, in particular, still arranged in front of the same rear Flexor held in balance, so that the lifting of the shoe heel against the first Effect of the posterior and anterior flexor, in the final phase only against the Effect of the anterior flexor.
- the shoe rolls so under compression or Decompression of the anterior and posterior flexors on the binding housing or on from the front sole end associated support surface. Both flexors serve the front sole end is always held in contact with the ski or binding. The two flexors cause, with the shoe raised, the ski parallel to the sole or whose tread is held. Ski and shoe are therefore balanced accordingly.
- the present invention also relates to a Shoe whose sole is at a distance from the front sole end, in particular in front, behind or in the area of the metatarsophalangeal zone, preferably in front of it Binding engagement element, in particular in the form of a transverse axis, and between this and the front sole end has a downwardly projecting projection.
- the sole-side engagement element and the sole-side projection are disposed within a lower (longitudinal) recess, which is preferably both after is designed to be open at the bottom and at the front.
- the sole-side projection comprises a Crossbar, in particular part of a embedded in the sole material U-bracket Metal, hard plastic od. Like. Rigid and durable material. As it is This is a known anchoring technique, does not need to be mentioned here to be addressed.
- Figs. 1-4 is a cross-country or telemark binding 10 for a shoe 11 in side and Top view shown on the top surface of a ski, not shown can be mounted.
- the sole 12 of the shoe 11 is spaced from the front sole end 13, in particular in front of the so-called.
- Metatarsophalangialen zone 14 a sole side Engagement element 15 in the form of a arranged within a Sohlenlijnsaus predominantlyung horizontal transverse axis 15, which with a complementary binding side Engagement element 16 cooperates such that the shoe heel is freely raised, as well as this Fig. 3 reveals.
- Fig. 1-4 is a cross-country or telemark binding 10 for a shoe 11 in side and Top view shown on the top surface of a ski, not shown can be mounted.
- the sole 12 of the shoe 11 is spaced from the front sole end 13, in particular in front of the so-called.
- Metatarsophalangialen zone 14 a sole side Engagement element 15 in the form of a arranged within a
- the sole-side engaging element 15 is through a top view U-shaped rigid bracket made of light metal, stainless steel or plastic defines its forward protruding leg at its front free ends to a horizontal transverse axis 18 are pivotally mounted. Accordingly, that is binding-side engaging element 16 about the axis 18 pivotally, against the Effect of an elastic element, here in the form of two each one leg 17 associated helical compression springs 19.
- an elastic element here in the form of two each one leg 17 associated helical compression springs 19.
- the two legs 17 of the binding-side engaging element 16 each above the pivot axis 18 upwards and front protruding extensions 20, between which on the one hand and the binding housing on the other hand, the helical compression springs 19 are clamped.
- the extensions 20 are each formed in the illustrated embodiment L-shaped with the one Leg above the pivot axis 18 upstanding and with the other leg protruding forward into the respective helical compression spring.
- the helical compression springs 19 serve to return the binding-side engaging element 16 in a position approximately parallel to the ski deck according to FIGS. 1 and 2. They replace the known "flexor", the conventional cross-country bindings between the front sole end on the one hand and the binding housing on the other is effective. The shoe 11 and its paragraph is thus contrary to the effect of Helical compression springs 19 raised as shown in FIG. 3.
- the binding-side engagement member 16 faces forward open engagement hooks 21, with the sole side engaging member 15, the in Formed a transverse axis is formed, according to FIGS. 1-3 can be brought into engagement. This intervention is made when entering the binding by the user when Getting in the transverse axis 15 pushes under the engagement hooks 21, then the fixation of the shoe, as will be explained below.
- Figs. 1-3 and in particular also Figs. 5-7 can be seen very clearly is between the sole-side engaging element 15 and the front sole end 13 of the Sole 12 sole side a projection 22 formed in abutment with a binding side Stop 23 is brought (see Fig. 2 in relation to FIG. 1), such that the shoe is held in engagement with the binding-side engagement member 15 and simultaneously a rocking movement (see double arrow 24 in Fig. 3) to an imaginary Transverse axis behind the stop 23 and sole side projection 22 allowed.
- the sole-side projection 22 comprises a transverse web 25 (see Fig. 6), which is part of a U-shaped metal strap is whose legs 26 (see Figs. 6 and 7) in the sole material are embedded.
- the binding-side stop 23 is longitudinally displaceable (see double arrow 27 in Fig. 1) stored and by means of an actuator with Operating lever 28 and Mattertot Vietnamese mechanism 29 from a corresponding to FIG. 1 Front Schuhokgabe- or -Einminationswolf in a rear view position shown in FIG. 2 and inversely movable.
- the sole-side projection 22 or the transverse web 25 of the same assigned Stop surface 30 of the binding-side stop 23 is formed and dimensioned, that when raising and lowering the shoe heel of the cross bar 25 of the sole side Projection 22 can be moved up and down along this stop surface 30 without forcing.
- the crossbar 25 of the projection 22 at the top End of the stop surface 30 (see Fig. 2), where there is still a backwards extending boundary nose, wherein when lifting the shoe heel this Cross bar along the stop surface 30 moves down to a position accordingly
- the stop surface 30 be coated with a low-friction plastic (Teflon®).
- Teflon® low-friction plastic
- the transverse web 25 rotatable about its longitudinal axis is mounted or comprises a sleeve rotatably mounted about its longitudinal axis.
- the binding-side stopper 23 has a Transverse groove 31 for receiving the transverse web 25 of the sole-side projection 22, wherein the front boundary wall of the transverse groove serves as a stop surface 30.
- the front boundary wall of the transverse groove serves as a stop surface 30.
- the upper support surface 32 of the binding or the binding housing is in the longitudinal direction arched upwards. On this arched support surface 32 of the shoe with substantially flat sole 12 when lifting the heel can be unrolled.
- the final phase when lifting the shoe heel is the support of the shoe over two anterior end of the sole associated flexors 33. These two flexors 33 are each positioned laterally outside of the binding-side engaging member 16, as well as this Fig. 4 reveals. These flexors become the final phase of the relative movement controlled between shoe and ski or binding when lifting the heel and in particular the contact between shoe and ski is maintained, being in this end phase to a flat contact between shoe or its sole and the ski is. In the initial phase, the contact between shoe and ski is more linear due to the rolling of the sole 12 on the upwardly curved Support surface 32.
- the shoe relative to the binding or the ski in conjunction with the front flexors 33 keeps in balance.
- the front and rear flexors 33, 34 form together with the return flexors or helical compression springs 19 a balanced or balanced spring system, which controls the movement of the shoe relative to the binding or to support the ski at every stage, without the contact between shoe and ski lost in the final phase of this relative movement when lifting the Shoe heel become the necessary restoring forces for the ski dominant, namely on the one hand due to the helical compression springs 19 and the other by the front flexors 33, which then come into operative engagement with the front sole end.
- the binding can by the flexors 33, 34 and springs 19 to different running styles and users. For skating, e.g. preferably very hard Flexors 33, 34 and springs 19 used.
- FIGS. 5 and 7 also show that the sole-side engagement element 15 and the sole-side projection 22 within a lower sole longitudinal recess 35 are arranged such that they neither forward nor down tower over the running side of the sole.
- Fig. 6 is the sole side Projection 22 less wide than the longitudinal recess 35. Accordingly, can the two legs 17 of the binding-side engaging element 16 the sole side Projection 22 each pass laterally. That is, the legs 17 of the binding side Engagement elements 16 do not collide with lowered shoe heel with the sole-side projection 22. In this way, an extremely compact Arrangement achieved.
- the transverse axis 15, like the sole-side projection 22, consists of metal, Plastic od. Like. Rigid and durable material.
- the sole-side projection 22 may also be plate-shaped. For reasons the weight savings, however, a U-bracket according to Fig. 6 is more advantageous.
- binding housing together with binding plate with the reference numeral 36th indicated.
- the binding plate may be on its top in a conventional manner Longitudinal guide ribs 37 which, with corresponding Lekss arrangementsnuten 38th at the bottom or running side of the sole 12 correspond.
- the distance between the sole-side engagement element 15 and the sole side Projection 22 is about 15-25 mm, in particular about 20 mm.
- the distance between the front sole end 13 and the sole-side projection 22 is about 10 mm.
