Definitions
- the invention relates to a high-pressure pump with a pump housing and a high-pressure accumulator integrated in the pump housing, wherein the high-pressure accumulator has a high-pressure seal.
- a generic high pressure pump is from the US 6,186,118 known. Another high pressure pump is from the unpublished patent application 10360534.7 the applicant already known.
- the high-pressure accumulator is formed by an opening introduced into the pump housing and a pot-shaped container arranged in the opening. In the opening in the pump housing, an internal thread is formed and the pot-shaped container has a corresponding with the internal thread external thread. As a result, the cup-shaped container can be screwed into the pump housing.
- On the pump housing and / or cup-shaped container sealing surfaces are provided to ensure a sealing of the high-pressure accumulator to the environment. Due to the high pressures in the accumulator but it can happen again and again that liquid from the high-pressure accumulator enters the environment.
- the object of the invention is therefore to form a high pressure pump with a high-pressure accumulator, which ensures a secure seal of the high-pressure accumulator to the environment.
- the invention builds on the generic high-pressure pump in that the high-pressure seal is arranged inside the pump housing.
- the internal arrangement of the high-pressure seal ensures even in the event of a leak, that no fuel can get into the environment, but at best into the pump housing.
- the embodiment of the invention provides that the pump housing and the high pressure accumulator are integrally formed.
- the one-piece design of the high-pressure pump and high-pressure accumulator results in a particularly small number of sealing surfaces.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the high pressure accumulator is hydraulically connected in parallel to at least one high pressure outlet of the high pressure pump. Due to the parallel connection of high-pressure accumulator and high-pressure outlet, the high-pressure accumulator acts as a hydraulic damper. This is particularly advantageous if the high-pressure pump is designed as a radial piston pump, since in this case pulsations occur during the delivery due to the design.
- the high-pressure pump is preferably a radial piston pump with at least two piston units.
- the pump units are arranged in a V-shape to each other, preferably at an angular distance of 90 ° to each other.
- the v-shaped arrangement of the pump units results in a particularly compact Design, as between the pump units advantageously the high-pressure accumulator can be accommodated.
- the high-pressure accumulator is formed axially or radially relative to a drive shaft of the radial piston pump in the pump housing.
- the axial or radial arrangement of the high pressure accumulator in turn allows a very compact design of the high pressure pump.
- the high pressure accumulator can be particularly easily introduced into the high pressure pump in such an arrangement.
- the invention is thus characterized by the fact that the high-pressure seal is arranged inside the pump housing. This results in a secure seal of the high-pressure accumulator to the environment. Even in the case of a leak of the high-pressure seal thus no liquid can escape into the environment.
- the high-pressure pump according to the invention is particularly suitable as a high-pressure fuel pump for common rail injection systems, since in such systems very high pressures occur and thus special demands are placed on the sealing of the high-pressure accumulator.
- the high-pressure seal according to the invention can meet these requirements.
- FIG. 1 shows a radial section through a high-pressure pump 1 according to the invention.
- the sectional plane lies in a plane with the high-pressure lines 13.
- the high-pressure pump 1 comprises a pump housing 2 and a high-pressure accumulator 4 integrated in the pump housing 2.
- the high-pressure accumulator lies in a radial plane located further back for the cutting plane and is therefore shown only by dashed lines.
- the high pressure pump 1 is designed as a radial piston pump and has two V-shaped pump units 7 arranged to one another.
- the pump units 7 are arranged at an angular distance of 90 ° to each other.
- the high-pressure accumulator 4 is arranged between the two pump units 7 and forms an angular distance of 45 ° to each pump unit 7.
- the radial piston pump is driven by an eccentric shaft 3 which is rotatably arranged in the pump housing 2.
- eccentric shaft 3 which is rotatably arranged in the pump housing 2.
- the high-pressure accumulator 4 is arranged radially to the drive shaft and formed integrally with the pump housing 2. Due to the one-piece design of pump housing 2 and high-pressure accumulator 4 results in a very small number of sealing surfaces.
- the high-pressure accumulator 4 is formed by a radial bore 8 in the pump housing 2.
- the radial bore 8 is thereby introduced from the high-pressure accumulator 4 opposite side in the pump housing 2.
- the radial bore 8 is introduced at a right angle to the bearing bore 9 for the drive shaft 3 in the pump housing 2.
- the high pressure accumulator 4 is closed at its lower end with a high pressure seal 5.
- a high-pressure seal 5 for example, a threaded plug is screwed into the radial bore 8.
- the radial bore 8 has a corresponding thread.
- the radial bore 8 is closed at its open end 10 with a sealing plug 11, so that the pump housing 2 is sealed to the environment.
- the seal is merely a low-pressure seal towards the inside of the pump.
- the liquid does not reach the environment as in the prior art, but only in the radial bore 8 and thus in the pump interior.
- the low-pressure seal prevents the leakage current from reaching the environment. This results in a secure seal of the high-pressure accumulator. 4
- the high-pressure outlets 12 of the individual pump units 7 are connected via high-pressure lines 13 to the high-pressure connections 6 on the one hand and to the high-pressure accumulator 4 on the other hand.
- this acts as a hydraulic damper.
- the hydraulic damper ensures a low-pulsation delivery of the fluid.
- the injector lines can be directly, i. be connected to the high-pressure pump 1 without additional adapter parts such as double nipple. This results in an advantageous manner a particularly secure seal between the pump housing 1 and the injector lines.
- an additional throttle 14 may be formed in the high-pressure outlet 6.
- a throttle 14 is in particular a simple aperture, which is introduced into the high-pressure outlet.
- the aperture 14 may be particularly easily formed by a stepped bore in the pump housing 2.
- the high-pressure pump 1 is advantageously designed as a monoblock.
- the cylinder heads and the pump housing 2 and the high pressure accumulator 4 are integrally formed.
- the pressure generation, pressure transfer, pressure storage and the pressure distribution to the injector is realized in a single component in a particularly advantageous manner.
- the number of high-pressure interfaces is thus reduced to a minimum.
- FIG. 2 shows an external view of a high-pressure pump with integrated high-pressure accumulator which is largely identical to the high-pressure pump according to FIG.
- the high-pressure pump has only one axially arranged high-pressure accumulator 4. Due to the axially arranged high-pressure accumulator 4, the height of the high pressure pump 1 decreases, resulting in an even more compact design.
- the invention is not limited to the embodiments.
- the high-pressure outputs 6 and the high-pressure accumulator 4 are not connected in parallel hydraulically but in series.
- high-pressure outlets are provided on the high-pressure accumulator 4.
- the supply lines and high pressure outlets can preferably be formed in, formed on the high-pressure accumulator, stiffening ribs.
- V-shaped arrangement of the pump units 7 it is also possible to provide an arrangement with an angular distance of 180 ° to each other.
- an arrangement with two pump units and an arrangement with only one or more, for example, three at an angular distance of 120 ° offset from each other pump units is conceivable.
- roller joints For stroke transmission from the drive shaft to the individual displacer of the pump units are preferably roller joints.
- the roller tappets have the advantage that camshafts with very steep ramps can be used and also the wear is minimized.
- the proposed high-pressure pump Due to the internal arrangement of the high-pressure seal in the pump housing, the proposed high-pressure pump thus discloses a particularly secure sealing of the high-pressure accumulator with respect to the environment.
- the proposed high-pressure pump is suitable for high-pressure fuel pump, in particular radial piston high-pressure pump in common-rail injection systems.
Description
US 6186118 bekannt.
