Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a container, in particular a bottle crate, with a bottom and a border surrounding the container in the side regions according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • an object of the present invention to provide a plastic container, and in particular a bottle crate, which is significantly improved in terms of durability, handling, aesthetic appearance and overall functionality.
  • a container or bottle crate at low material use sufficient stability and strength and protection against damage from scratching and the like. Offer.
  • an at least two-part, but preferably multi-part plastic container is provided, in which by the division or division into several parts, a separation of different functionalities can be achieved.
  • parts can be made of different materials according to their different functions due to the multi-part.
  • the support and support function ie the mechanical functionality that gives the container stability for handling, be separated from the decor or advertising and marketing functions or generally the aesthetic appearance, so that certain elements take over the carrying function, while other parts take on decorating functions.
  • the container or bottle crate into a lower part and an upper part, wherein the lower part in the form of the bottom provides a tread for automatic transport systems, while the upper part as a border of the floor in the broadest sense, but preferably in the form of four side walls , additionally or predominantly decorating functions.
  • the lower part ie the bottom of the container or bottle crate with a conventional plastic material, such.
  • a conventional plastic material such as polyethylene or polypropylene
  • the upper part for example, as a one-piece encircling border in the form of a kind zylinderrohrianon or two-sided open cuboid border of a transparent plastic such.
  • polycarbonate or derivatives thereof is made.
  • the above-described subdivision into at least two parts can be extended or supplemented to the effect that the lower part in addition to the bottom also additional support elements, for example for the load transfer in the stack, such.
  • the upper part is in this case formed of individual or integrally connected side walls or corresponding inserts for the side walls and may itself be formed in several parts or in one piece. These elements are then preferably made of a different to the lower part or the support elements plastic, such. B.
  • the support elements must not necessarily be assigned to the lower part, ie in a broader sense the ground, but may also be part of the border, so the upper part.
  • Containers or crates of the type described above are for example in the patents DE 31 29 052 A1 . DE 202 18 154 U1 . DE 201 16 427 U1 . DE 202 01 899 U1 and US 3,331,502 described.
  • the generic DE 201 16 427 U1 container or bottle crate described the relative movements between the support elements and the decorative elements. This results on the one hand due to different thermal expansions of the different plastic materials during temperature changes (for example when setting the container in a cold room), and on the other hand due to the load transfer by the support elements, such as when loaded in a container stack.
  • dynamic relative movements occur at the junctions of these container parts, when such a container accidentally falls, for example from a great height on the ground.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a container of the type described above, in which despite its construction of functionally different parts (support elements and decorative elements) and different materials harmful voltages under load and / or external influences are avoided and at the same time the occurrence is prevented by rattling between the functionally different parts.
  • the corresponding components of the multipart container or bottle crate must therefore be connected to each other in a suitable manner.
  • the invention assumes that a compatible connection of the different materials or plastics of the multi-part plastic container must be made, which is maintained at the occurring loads on the plastic container, for example in a stack or under dynamic loads in the event of falling of a fully loaded container.
  • the connection technique at the joints must take into account the different strains due to the loads or the different thermal expansions by a sufficient mobility or elastic deformability of the parts to each other. This applies to both detachable and non-detachable connections.
  • a corresponding joining material when welding or hot-melt bonding, a corresponding joining material is selected which has sufficient elasticity or elastic deformation.
  • rubbery material can be provided in the manner of an elastic joint.
  • an elastic sealing profile can be sprayed on at the connection points, wherein this elastic sealing profile is materially connected to one or both components to be connected, while the other component, with which it is not cohesively connected, is mechanically inserted or held.
  • a particularly good vertical relative movement is required even with appropriate inserts or decorative parts that should experience no carrying function or mechanical stress and thus do not participate in a corresponding load on the overall container and the elastic compression or expansion of the rest of the container.
  • This is the case, for example, with transparent inserts in side wall recesses.
  • a corresponding distance or a recess can then be provided relative to the overhead frame part, which can also serve, for example, as a carrying opening or carrying handle, while the vertical lateral receptacles can be designed to be correspondingly flexible or elastic, wherein in particular a positive connection in the horizontal direction simultaneous vertical displacement of the insert is advantageous.
  • the plastic container with a particularly transparent side wall, which is preferably designed in the form of a top and bottom open, cylindrical tube-like or cuboid wall, preferably scratch-protected corners, wherein projections are provided in the border or side wall, in particular in the corner regions that are in Form of ridge-like strips or as wall protuberances outwardly so as to serve as a bumper in some way and preferably to protect the adjacent or enclosed wall portions at the corners, which are set back from the projections, against contact with other objects.
  • the wall portion may be formed with the projection, in particular the corner region in a shape approximate to a trapezoidal shape with a concave curvature inwards.
  • the inwardly curved corner shape with a shape approximating a trapezoidal shape also has the advantage that the stability of the container or the container wall is increased in the corner, so that the side wall or the corner region can be executed single-walled without additional reinforcing elements.
  • additional elements such as B. ribs or at least partially provide the side wall with double-walled protruding aprons, especially in the upper or lower edge region. Again, then these double-walled areas, ie z.
  • B. a top circumferential double-walled edge with repellent apron and / or an additional lower circumferential double-walled edge also run matt, to additionally protect the clear and transparent side wall from damage by scratches, etc. here.
  • the transparent areas can serve as viewing windows for attachment to advertising, information material, etc., which is then protected behind the transparent wall or transparent area and arranged visibly can be.
  • Corresponding may be provided in the transparent areas or on the transparent side walls means for fixing corresponding decorative elements or advertising means.
  • this can be done, for example, that the compartment division or the framework for the interior division is not applied to the side wall, but that a gap between the side wall and compartment division is provided in the then corresponding decorative material can be inserted.
  • the separation between preferably transparent side wall and interior compartment division has the advantage that the two components can be made of different materials, which can be solved without the need for additional connection measures by dispensing with corresponding joints the problem of different stress or strain. This can generally be regarded as an advantageous design aspect of the container or bottle crate according to the invention, that as far as possible superfluous connection points between the different plastic materials are dispensed with.
  • Fig. 1 shows a bottle crate, which, as in the partial image e) is to be seen in a perspective view of essentially two parts, namely the bottom 1 and an integrally encircling side wall 2 in the manner of a top and bottom open cylinder tube-like or cuboidal element.
  • the side wall 2 is made of a transparent plastic, while the bottom of a conventional plastic plastic container or bottle crate, such. As polyethylene or polypropylene is made.
  • the container bottom 1 has a circumferential skirt 10 (see drawing a)), which is pulled slightly upwards from the bottom 1 to receive the side wall 2, for example by a clip connection or a clip / rivet connection.
  • the raised bottom wall 10 serves as a skirt to laterally protect the transparent side wall from shocks and impacts as well as damage from scratches.
  • the side wall 2 is likewise peripherally formed with a drawn down double wall in the form of a skirt 3, which also serves to protect and increase the stability.
  • the transparent plastic of the side wall 2 may be made matt in this area 3, for example, to be insensitive to damage caused by scratching.
  • handle openings 4 are provided on the front sides and within the bottle crate a compartments 5 is arranged, which is preferably formed integrally with the floor 1 or at least used only in these via corresponding connection techniques.
  • the bottle crate of Fig. 1 also has scratch-protected corners 6 (see drawing c)), which has a concave curvature 9 inwardly in the corner region 6.
  • These edges which protrude as projections in relation to the adjacent wall regions and in particular with respect to the course of the rounded inner contour of the side wall, can in turn be matted in an advantageous manner, so that the edges 7 and 8 are insensitive to damage due to scratches, etc.
  • Fig. 2 shows in a perspective view of another embodiment of a plastic container according to the invention, which is designed in several parts.
  • the plastic container of Fig. 2 also has a bottom group 11, in which, however, in addition preferably integrally formed Eckholme 12. Between adjacent Eckholmen side wall recesses 13 are provided which can be filled by appropriate inserts 14.
