Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zum Transportieren metallischer Werkstücke (20) weist eine wärmeisolierte Transportkammer (10), Mittel (40) zum Be- und Entladen der Werkstücke (20) und ein Fahrwerk (30) auf. Um bei einer solchen Vorrichtung auf vergleichsweise flexible und effiziente Weise einen Transport der Werkstücke zwischen mehreren Behandlungskammern während einer Wärmebehandlung zu ermöglichen, ist die Transportkammer (10) vakuumdicht ausgebildet und auf ein die Werkstücke (20) vor Umgebungseinflüssen schützendes Vakuum evakuierbar.
Überdies zeichnet sich eine Anlage zur Wärmebehandlung metallischer Werkstücke (20) mit zumindest zwei Behandlungskammern (50), in denen die Werkstücke (20) wärmebehandelbar sind, dadurch aus, daß eine solche Vorrichtung mittels einer evakuierbaren Schleuse (60) an die Behandlungskammer (50) ankoppelbar ist.
Darüber hinaus wird bei einem Verfahren zum Transportieren metallischer Werkstücke (20) während einer Wärmebehandlung eine vakuumdicht ausgebildete Transportkammer (10) auf ein die Werkstücke (20) vor Umgebungseinflüssen schützendes Vakuum evakuiert, um die Werkstücke (20) in diesem Vakuum von einer Behandlungskammer (50) zur nächsten zu transportieren.
