Independent claims are also included for: (A) a window or a glazed door with at least one wing constituted similarly to the window proposed above; (B) a plastic profile forming a part of the proposed window wing; (C) an application of such profile for covering the entire edge of the outer glazing of window wings.

Description

The invention relates to a window sash according to the preamble of claim 1 and a window or a window door with at least one such wing.

In addition to conventional windows, in which the glazing is arranged in the casement, windows are also known in which the casement does not extend or only partially into the region of the front side of the glazing. The glazing or at least its outer pane is thus in front of the actual sash and is attached to this eg by gluing. EP-A-1 106 770 shows such a window sash. The edge of the outer pane of the glazing is thereby covered by a sealing lip of a sealing profile that bears resiliently on the outside of the outer pane. When the window is closed, this sealing lip lies below a seal acting on the outer pane, which is arranged on the window frame. In another embodiment, the sealing lip is free vorderst the window.

The invention has the object to improve a window sash or a window or a window door of the type mentioned.

This object is achieved with a window sash with the characterizing features of claim 1 or with a window or a window door according to claim 14.

The fact that the edge of the outer pane is covered at least frontally by a glued profile, there is an improved protection of the free lying in front of the sash edge of the glazing against damage both during transport, installation and use of the sash and the window or the French window with such a window sash.

It is particularly preferred if the profile extends under the glazing or under the end face of the outer pane and even under the connection of the multiple glazing. Preferably, the profile continues to act as a seal by having a sealing lip acting on the wing frame and possibly a certain for acting on the window frame of the window or the window door further sealing lip. Preferably, when the window is closed or the windows are closed, the outside of the profile is acted upon by a fixed seal on the frame.

Preferably, the profile consists of a plastic and / or elastomeric material or equivalent material, which is in particular a dyeable material, so that the outer edge of the glazing or the outer pane is colorable.

Dabei zeigt

  • Figur 1 eine vertikale Schnittansicht eines Fensters im Bereich der Brüstung;
  • Figur 2 eine horizontale Schnittansicht einer Seite des Fensters;
  • Figur 3 eine Frontalansicht der Verglasung;
In the following embodiments of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings. It shows
  • FIG. 1 a vertical sectional view of a window in the region of the parapet;
  • FIG. 2 a horizontal sectional view of a side of the window;
  • FIG. 3 a frontal view of the glazing;
  • FIG. 4 an end view of the preferred profile, and
  • FIG. 5 a perspective view of the profile.

FIG. 1 shows as an example a vertical section through a window or a French window in the parapet area. The lateral sectional views according to FIG. 2 and the view of a section through the fall do not differ for the elements essential to the invention from this view in the parapet area, of course, the parapet-specific elements omitted laterally and in the lintel area. However, this is clear to the person skilled in the art and will not be explained further here. As far as each of the following is spoken by a window, so are window doors mitumfasst.

The sash 1 with the sash 2 carries the multiple glazing. In the example shown, this is a double-glazing with the inner pane 4 and the outer pane 5 of the window. The inner pane 4 and the outer pane 5 are connected to each other via known elements 6, so that a self-stable glazing is formed. This is also known. The glazing 4, 5, 6 is arranged on the sash frame in such a way that all the glazing or only part of the glazing is arranged in front of the sash frame. In FIG. 1 is shown such an example in which the casement 2 extends with a nose 32 under the end face of the disc 4 and a part of the connecting element 6. But it could also be so that the sash does not extend at all under the glazing, so that the corresponding nose 32 would not exist. The glazing is preferably attached to the casement 2 by gluing, which is represented by the splice 33. The disc 4 is peripherally glued along its edge with the casement 2. Such a bond by an adhesive tape or a coatable adhesive is known and will not be described here. A sealing profile 34 is related to the installation of the window room side arranged.

According to the invention, a profile 7 is now fastened to the outer pane 5, this profile 7 circumferentially covering the edge of the outer pane 5 against the outside or front side. Preferably, the profile runs around the entire edge without interruption; if necessary, however, part of the border may also remain without a profile. In the simplest case, the profile may be a band-shaped profile, which rests only on the outside on the outside 10 of the disc. Preferably, the profile extends down to form a nose 17 under the end face 8 of the disc 5. The term "below" is used for the representation of FIG. 1 it is clear to the person skilled in the art that the profile 7 on the sides of the sash laterally over the lateral end face ( FIG. 2 ) and in the lintel area upwards over the upper end side of the glazing 5 extends. The profile 7 may not only extend coplanar to the front side 10 of the disc 5 down, but may also angled extending below the end face 8 of the disc 5, as shown in the figures. The profile is thus preferably L-shaped and has in addition to the upright L-beam 21 and a horizontal L-beam 22. The above-described simpler, only band-shaped profile, however, would comprise only the upright bar 21. The preferred L-shaped profile preferably extends further to the sash up to below the connecting element 6 of the glazing. The profile preferably has a bevel 18 in the end region resting on the outside 10 of the disk 5.

In the direction of the arrow A of FIG. 1 Seen on the disc 5, or its front side, the profile 7 forms a frame on the disc 5. This is in FIG. 3 shown, with only the disc 5 and the profile 7 is shown to simplify the drawing, not against it the sash 2. The profile attached to the disc provides effective protection for the outer edge of the glazing, this protection being effective both in the manufacture of the sash, its transport and the glazing of the finished window. The profile 7 but also protects users in front of the glass edge, which is particularly important in French windows. The profile 7 is fixed by gluing to the disc 5, wherein the splice is preferably between the upright beam 21 and the front side 10 of the disc 5. In the FIGS. 4 and 5 , in which the profile 7 is shown, an adhesive 25 is correspondingly shown, which can connect the bar 21 with the front side 10. This adhesive may be applied in the form of a liquid adhesive, but preferred is an adhesive tape, which will be explained later. The gluing can also be done on the front side 8, which requires the embodiment with the L-shaped profile. This frontal gluing may be in addition to or instead of the front gluing.

The FIGS. 1 . 2 and 4 . 5 further show a preferred embodiment of the profile 7, in which the horizontal L-beam is provided with a sealing lip 14 which acts on the casement 2. In the example shown, this action takes place on the projecting nose 32 of the sash. If such a nose is not provided, then the horizontal L-beam can continue to extend to the sash and this act there. The FIGS. 1 and 2 show the window sash 1 installed in a window or a French window with the frame 3. Preferably, now the profile 7 has a projecting from the horizontal L-beam 22 arm 26 (FIG. FIG. 4 ), which in turn is provided with an angled sealing lip 15. This sealing lip 15 acts on the closed window sash of the window frame 3 and forms a seal against this.

In the parapet area, the window is provided with a weather strip 20. In the side and lintel area, no or correspondingly shaped metal profiles or profiles made of composite materials or an additional hardwood wear layer of the window can be provided. Preferably, a seal 40 is now provided between these fixed parts of the window and the window sash, which is arranged so that it acts on the profile 7, which preferably takes place on the front outer side of the profile 7. The profiles 20 or the wear layer are attached to the frame 3 in a conventional manner.

FIG. 4 shows the profile 7 frontally in an enlarged view, the profile in the preferred L-shaped embodiment with two sealing lips 14 and 15 is shown, of which, however, only one or none could be present. The profile is provided circumferentially around the glass sheet 5, as in FIG. 3 is shown. In the corners of the glass pane 5, the profile is preferably mitred and connected, for example by welding, or vulcanization or gluing of the profile sections. The profile pieces can abut each other in the corner but also on impact and also be connected to each other by welding, or vulcanization or gluing. In the FIGS. 4 and 5 it can be seen that an adhesive strip 25 is arranged on the profile such that it is already attached to the inside 23 of the upright L-beam by gluing. The other, also facing the glass adhesive side of the adhesive strip 25 is covered by a removable protective film 35. Only with the application of the profile 7 on the glass pane 5, this protective film 35 is peeled off. The profile 7 is made of a plastic polymer material or an elastomer material, preferably extruded. Preferably, a material is used, the at least one polymer material and at least one elastomer material in Contains combination and is known as thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), in particular in the form of a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO). In these materials elastic polymer chains are incorporated into thermoplastic material. For example, rubber (elastomer) and thermoplastic (plastic) can be combined to form one material. Corresponding profiles are produced, for example, by the company pbc Polymerverarbeitung AG in CH-5012 Schönenwerd, Switzerland, for example as block copolymers, in particular under the name pbcOPTI. Preferably, the profile 7 consists of a dyeable polymer and / or elastomer material, to which the said preferred material belongs, so that the window sash or the disc 5 can be given an arbitrarily colored frame by the profile 7. In addition to the protection of the glass edge and the glass pen of the disc 5 thus also results in a selectable optical design of the window sash, which in any case is visible with the window open. When the casement is closed, the profile is preferably also visible, since the window according to FIG. 1 is preferably configured so that the profile 7 projects around the window interior on the profile acting on the seal 40. Furthermore, in the preferred embodiment, the profile also forms a peripheral seal with respect to the frame 3 and the sash rebate by means of the sealing lips 15 and 14.

The adhesion of the profile to the disc can be done with a conventional liquid adhesive and / or in the manner of vulcanization with a heat-activatable adhesive. If a double-sided adhesive tape is used, its one side facing the profile material may also have a different adhesive than the side facing the disk. For example, the side facing the profile may be a heat-activatable adhesive. Acrylate adhesives or double-sided adhesive tapes with such adhesives can be used as well-suited adhesives. The profile may be before the application of the adhesive or adhesive tape can be prepared by a primer or a corona treatment.

Das Profil bietet zudem einen UV-Schutz für die Glasverbindung 6.The design of the window sash or the window according to the invention offers structural-physical advantages regarding heat conduction and sound insulation and impermeability to classic window constructions with covers by aluminum profiles. The profile also provides UV protection for the glass connection 6.
