Definitions
- the invention relates to a window frame with a circumferential cover arranged on this. Furthermore, the invention relates to a window with such a window frame, a support member for cover profile pieces and a method for mounting a cover to a window frame.
- window frames with a peripheral cover, and to provide a cover made of aluminum profiles, especially in wooden window frames.
- the invention is based on the object to improve such window frames.
- the mounting of the cover profiles can be done without strong pressure and / or impact forces on the profile pieces, which allows to use smaller profile wall thicknesses with appropriate material savings.
- the holding members are provided with springs that can bias individual profile pieces against each other. This allows a simplified assembly and the compensation of tolerances in the frame production and thermally induced changes in length of the window frame and the profile pieces when using the window frame.
- FIG. 1 shows a window frame 1 in a partial representation, which has frame parts 2, 3, 4, which are preferably made of wood.
- the frame 1 is shown in the view on the outside of the window and further comprises a cover 10, which is usually made of metal, in particular aluminum. However, this cover could also be made of plastic or a composite material.
- the cover 10 is formed of a plurality of profile pieces 6,7,8 and 9 and further includes in the frame part only partially shown the profile pieces 7 'and 9'.
- the central vertical frame part is not visible in the figure, since a cover 12 is provided there as well. It is further shown that a fighter is provided with covers 11.
- the profile pieces 6-9 or 7 'and 9' are fixed by means of non-visible, under the 'profile pieces arranged holding members 14, of which three pieces are indicated in the figure 1.
- Such holding members can, for example, at a distance be provided from 20 cm to 35 cm along the frame parts and 6 cm to 8 cm in the corners on the outside and positioned on the inner edge of the frame to fix the profile pieces to the frame in the manner to be explained.
- the attachment by means of the holding members 14 takes place in such a way that the profile pieces can first be placed with a vertical movement relative to the visible in the figure 1 frame surface on this, which is indicated in the figure with the arrows A, which is vertical to the plane and on this directed towards runs.
- the holding members 14 with arranged on them or arranged separately therefrom spring means that the profile pieces can resiliently move a slight distance against the insertion back, which is indicated by the arrows C in the profile pieces 7 and 8 in Figure 1.
- the profile pieces 7 and 8 resiliently act on the end faces of the profile piece, whereby tolerances and temperature-induced changes in length can be compensated.
- the resilient arrangement is not provided in the profile pieces 6 and 9, but could also be provided there.
- the profile piece 6 as a parapet profile piece but is preferably designed so that it is held on the support members 14 so firmly frictionally that it does not perform the spring movement.
- Figure 2 shows a provided with the window frame 1 partially illustrated window with its installation situation, wherein the horizontal section shows a vertical frame part 3 'of the window frame and 13 with the corresponding frame part of the sash of the window is shown, which carries the glazing 15.
- This can in particular with an edge profile 16 according to the European patent application EP-A-1 528 211 be provided.
- a holding member 14 on which a vertical profile piece 8 is arranged is now shown.
- the holding member 14 is fastened with a fastening means 17 on the wooden frame part 3 '.
- Further apparent in Figure 2 are masonry parts of the building and insulation and waterproofing, which will not be discussed here.
- Figures 3 and 4 show a preferred embodiment of a holding member 14. This is shown in Figure 5 in side view for attachment to the frame part 3 '(with still a part of the profile piece). It is apparent that the respective holding member 14 rests with its surfaces 22 on the outer side 3 "of the frame part 3 'of the window frame An opening 28 is provided for the fastening means, preferably a screw, in this way the retaining members 14 can be fastened in a defined position on the wooden frame parts
- the retaining members are preferably made of plastic, eg of a fiber-reinforced nylon plastic
- the retaining members also have at least one snap-action part 27, the function of which will be explained, as well as preferably spring means
- the spring means are spring tongues designed as one piece with the body of the retaining member 23 shown. Should spring means but could also be carried out in other ways and possibly also provided separately from the support members 14.
- FIGS. 6-9 14 The mounting of a profile piece 8 on the frame part 3 'by means of the holding members will now be described with reference to FIGS. 6-9 14 explained.
- the holding members 14 is shown in Figures 6-9 and the profile 8 in a sectional view. It is understood that when assembling a profile piece, the operations described in each case refers to the over the entire length of the profile piece extending profile piece parts as well as to the plurality of individual holding members 14.
- FIG. 6 shows a starting position in which the profile piece 8 is aligned with its base 30 substantially parallel to the surface 3 "of the frame part 3 ', to which frame part 3' the holding members 14 are already fastened with the fastening means 17, which is shown in FIGS From this initial position, the profile piece can now be placed on the frame part 3 'in the direction of the arrow A, which corresponds to the arrow A of Figure 1.
- the profile parts 31 and 33, 34 can be attached to the holding parts 24 and 25, without any contact between these holding parts and the profile parts already taking place.
- Figure 7 shows the position in which the profile piece 8 is placed on the frame part or holding members 14.
- a non-resilient profile piece e.g. in the parapet profile piece 6 so that the assembly can be completed.
- the profile piece remains in the position of Figure 8, since the holding parts and the profile parts are designed so that the profile piece is held in this position by frictional engagement with the holding members 14.
- the springs 23 have deformed during insertion, but their spring force is not sufficient to move a profile 6 from the position of Figure 8 back against the insertion direction. Against too far pushing back against the insertion direction, the profile 6 is then also secured by the snap part 27, as will be explained below.
- profile piece 8 or 7 this is designed with its profile parts so that the force of the springs 23 is sufficient to press the profile piece 8 again against the insertion direction or in the direction of the arrow C.
- the profile piece 8 is attached to the frame part, but can move in the direction of arrow B resiliently.
- the profile pieces 7 and 8, which are resiliently arranged, and the profile piece 9 are dimensioned so that the profile pieces 7 and 8 can perform a small travel both in the direction of arrow B and the arrow C.
- tolerances, especially tolerances of the wooden frame could be collected during assembly, and it can be collected in use of the window temperature-induced changes in length be so that profile pieces 7, 8 and 9 at the joints of the profile pieces 7 and 8 with the profile piece 9 always abut each other.
- the profile piece 9 can be cut obliquely at its end faces in order to adapt as well as possible to the oblique angled portion 30 'of the profile pieces 7 and 8.
- these profile pieces 7, 8 may be cut obliquely at its lower end face in Figure 1 in order to adapt to the oblique angle of the profile piece 6, as can be seen in Figure 1.
- the respective profile piece for the resilient mounting so in the example shown, the profile pieces 7 and 8, and the holding parts 14 cooperatively designed so that during assembly blocking in the position of Figure 8 can result .
- this blocking is carried out so that a molding 34 is arranged on the profile part 33, which cooperates with a formation 29 in the recess 25 'of the holding part 25.
- the formation 34 of the profile piece is at the molding 29 of the support member, so that the springs 23 can not perform the shift in the direction of arrow C.
- the formations 34 and 29 are designed such that a violation of the molding 29 made of plastic by means of the metal molding 34 is effected by a slight blow in the direction of arrow C, so that the molding 29 sheared or flattened or possibly skipped by this blow, so that the profile pieces 8 and 7 by the springs in the arrow direction C are movable. This then results in the already explained position of FIG. 9.
- the profile pieces 6-9 can be designed with a smaller wall thickness of the base part 30 than hitherto. This allows a considerable saving of material.
- the assembly can be done simply by hand or by a robot.
- Figures 10 and 11 show profile pieces 6, which are additionally designed with weather legs.
- the weatherboard is integrally formed with the profile piece. This is carried out in the manner described so that the profile parts 31, 33 in conjunction with the profile part 32 'give a firm frictional engagement during insertion in the direction of arrow B, so that the springs 23 can not perform their function.
- Figure 11 shows a similar parapet profile piece 6, wherein here, however, the weatherboard 40 is designed as a separate part, which is designed with Einklink former 41 and 42 so that it can be latched into the profile recess of the parapet profile 6.

The invention relates to a window frame with a circumferential cover arranged on this. Furthermore, the invention relates to a window with such a window frame, a support member for cover profile pieces and a method for mounting a cover to a window frame.
It is known to provide window frames with a peripheral cover, and to provide a cover made of aluminum profiles, especially in wooden window frames.
The invention is based on the object to improve such window frames.
Dies erfolgt beim Fensterrahmen mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1.This is done in the window frame with the features of
With this configuration, the mounting of the cover profiles can be done without strong pressure and / or impact forces on the profile pieces, which allows to use smaller profile wall thicknesses with appropriate material savings.
In a preferred embodiment, the holding members are provided with springs that can bias individual profile pieces against each other. This allows a simplified assembly and the compensation of tolerances in the frame production and thermally induced changes in length of the window frame and the profile pieces when using the window frame.

Figures 3 and 4 show a preferred embodiment of a
The mounting of a
In a non-resilient profile piece, e.g. in the
In a preferably resiliently held
Damit ergibt sich dann die bereits erläuterte Stellung von Figur 9.As an assembly aid is preferably further provided that the respective profile piece for the resilient mounting, so in the example shown, the
In the manner mentioned, a gentle assembly of the profile pieces of the cover is possible, which does not require vertical impacts on this. As a result, the profile pieces 6-9 can be designed with a smaller wall thickness of the base part 30 than hitherto. This allows a considerable saving of material. The assembly can be done simply by hand or by a robot.
Figures 10 and 11
