Abstract

In einer Anlage zur elektrostatischen Serienbeschichtung von Werkstücken wird das elektrisch leitfähige Beschichtungsmaterial von Molchen (7, 8) zwischen zwei Molchstationen (1, 2), von denen die eine auf Erdpotenzial und die andere auf Hochspannungspotential liegt, durch eine zur Potenzialtrennung dienende Leitung (5) gefördert. Bei Annäherung an die Molchzielstation wird das leitfähige Medium über einen elektrischen Widerstand (13, 14), der zumindest während der Beschichtung der Werkstücke außerhalb der elektrischen Verbindung des Hochspannungserzeugers (4) mit dem Applikationsorgan (3) liegt, auf das Potenzial der Molchzielstation gelegt. Dieser Dämpfungswiderstand (13, 14) kann entweder durch externe Bauelemente oder durch den als Leitung (5) dienenden Schlauch selbst gebildet sein.
