Abstract
Description
Due to the deflection in the area of the cloth deflection roller, an expansion of the side coming into contact with the material web occurs, as a result of which the peripheral speed increases correspondingly. As soon as the felt cloth leaves the expansion area around the cloth deflection roller and is guided around the main roller, the felt cloth is compressed on the side in contact with the material web, which leads to a reduction of the peripheral speed. If the textile web retraces the change in length of the felt cloth on the side coming into contact with the web without slip, the textile web is compacted. The degree of compaction is adjusted so that the shrinkage of the product is reduced in the household laundry.
The felt cloth ensures a sufficient change in length, but has the disadvantage that the adhesion of the textile web is limited, so that the degree of compaction is limited by the slippage of the textile web.
It has therefore been proposed in practice, instead of the felt cloth to use a 67 mm thick blanket, which ensures sufficient adhesion. However, the blanket has the disadvantage that it has a relatively high pressure on the Goods, which may affect the volume and surface texture of the goods. In addition, the blanket is not suitable for compacting knitwear in tube form, since it would produce too strong markings of the two edges of the fabric. In addition, incurred by the blanket higher investment costs and it is a greater electrical drive power required.
The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a cloth that allows a possible slip-free and gentle transport of the web.
According to the invention, this object is solved by the features of

The inventive device for compacting textile webs comprises a main roll, a Tuchumlenkwalze, a felt cloth and a feeder. The felt cloth has a side coming into contact with the web and a side facing away from the web, wherein the felt cloth is guided around the cloth deflecting roller with its side facing away from the web and with its side coming into contact with the web around the main roller. The feeder presses the web in the area of the cloth deflection roller against the felt cloth and introduces the web into the gusset formed by felt cloth and main roll, so that the web is guided in the course between felt cloth and main roll, the speed of the web in the area between the feeder and Tuchumlenkwalze is greater than in the area between felt cloth and main roll. The side of the felt cloth coming into contact with the fabric web is coated with an adhesive layer, in particular a silicone layer.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the thickness of the adhesive layer is 1 to 25 mm, preferably 2 to 15 mm. In a further embodiment, the strength of Felting on the coming into contact with the web of the felt cloth larger than on the side facing away from the web.
Further advantages and embodiments of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the description of an embodiment and the drawing.

The apparatus shown in Fig. 1 for compacting a
The
The
Due to the deflection of the
The
So that the
The felt cloth is made of one or more of the following materials: wool, nomex, polyester, acrylic, etc. The felt
The coming into contact with the
The felt cloth provided with the adhesive layer preferably has a thickness of 10-50 mm, the thickness of the adhesive layer 4d being 1 to 25 mm, preferably 2 to 15 mm.
