  • a microswitch is fixed to the housing 2 of the device and comprises an operating member 31 which can cooperate with the slide 4 in a manner such that the switch switches, for example, from open to closed, when the slide 4 is in the lowered operative position, that is, when the door of the electric household appliance is closed.
