Definitions
- the invention relates to a chopper for chopping food, with a housing, a sliding plunger in this one one end of the plunger rotatably arranged actuating head and one arranged at the other end of the plunger, rotatably connected to the plunger Knife, wherein a rotary mechanism is present, which during an axial movement of the plunger causes it to rotate and with a backstop which prevents the rotation of the ram in Permitted in only one direction with respect to the housing.
- the actuating head is at the top of the Tappet non-rotatably connected. This poses no problems as long as the actuator head is served strikingly. But if the actuator head during Operation held by hand, the plunger and thus that Do not turn the knife.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object To propose hackers that reliably prevent the knife from moving on the working stroke and on the return stroke in opposite directions rotates.
- the invention solves this problem by adding a backstop is present, which is the rotation of the actuator head with respect to the Tappets allowed in one direction only.
- the further backstop a ratchet part arranged on the ram in a rotationally fixed manner on the circumference of at least one essentially tangential, radially resilient spring tongue carries at the end of an essentially radially outwardly projecting tooth and that in the actuating head an internal toothing is arranged, in which the at least one Tooth engages.
- the pawl part and the at least one spring tongue formed in one piece with the tooth arranged on it and special preferably made of plastic by injection molding. Such an embodiment is particularly easy and inexpensive to manufacture.
- the further backstop at least one in Actuating head arranged essentially tangentially, radially compliant Has spring tongue, at the free end of a substantially radial inwardly projecting tooth and an external toothing on the ram is arranged, in which the at least one tooth engages.
- the actuating head and the at least one spring tongue formed in one piece with the tooth arranged on it and particularly preferred made of plastic by injection molding.
- the effect can still be improved Invention of the at least one tooth and the teeth of the internal toothing respectively External teeth each a relatively flat and a relatively steep flank.
- the rotating mechanism preferably has a guide part in the inside of which are arranged guide ribs which are helically wound are and a rotating part is arranged axially movable within the guide part, which in turn picks up the pestle inside and with this is immovably connected in the axial direction. Outside on the turned part can be arranged cams in the axial movements of the ram slide between the guide ribs and thus turn the rotating part back and forth.
- This type of design is particularly easy to use with injection molded parts Realize plastic.
- the backstop formed by a wrap spring between the rotating part and the plunger is arranged and when rotating the rotating part in one direction on the ram and when turning the turned part in the opposite direction releases the pestle.
- the backstop is particularly preferred arranged and trained that the ram not during the working stroke is rotated and rotated during the return stroke. This will make the Cuts are cut vertically and cleanly through the material to be chopped.
- the hacker shown as an example in the figures has a housing, that consists of two housing upper halves 1 and 2. These are by means of Hinge pins 11 pivotally connected to a guide member 10, the Function will be described in more detail later.
- a bore 18 is visible, into which one of the hinge pins 11 engages.
- the upper part of the housing is interposed by a scraper 4 connected in a bayonet-like manner to a lower housing part 3.
- the latter serves to scrape off wood chips adhering to the knife 5.
- the knife 5 that made several or as shown from a single, zigzag curved Blade can exist, with the lower end 19 ( Figure 2) of a plunger 6 non-rotatably connected.
- actuating head 8 At the other end of the plunger 6 there is an actuating head 8 and a return spring 7, which the plunger 6 into the illustrated upper rest position urges. Since the actuating head 8 usually through Beating is actuated by hand, it preferably has a damper 8 made of a soft material.
- Figure 2 is a perspective Exploded view of the plunger and those interacting with it Parts shows. This interaction relates in particular to the above-described gradual rotation of the knife 5.
- the guide part 10 is in Figure 2 shown cut open lengthways. Above are a receiving opening 16 for to see the plunger 6 and two bore 17 for the hinge pins 11 mentioned. Inside the guide part 10, guide ribs 15 are arranged are helically wound at a steep angle. Inside the guide part 10, a rotating part 13 is axially movable, which in turn the pestle 6 takes up inside. On the outside of the rotating part 13 are cams 14 arranged in the axial movements of the plunger 6 between the Slide guide ribs 15 and so turn the rotating part 13 back and forth.
- a wrap spring 12 is arranged, the when the rotating part 13 rotates in one direction, it lies closely on the plunger 6 and releases the plunger when rotating the rotating part 13 in the opposite direction.
- the rotating part 13 is immovable in the axial direction is connected to the plunger 6 so that it is in the axial movements the plunger 6 is taken.
- the actuating head is 8 rotatably connected to the plunger 5, that is, the actuating head 8 can not rotate relative to the plunger 6.
- Such a hacker works without problems as long as the actuating head 8 for chopping, for example is hit with the palm of your hand.
- the contact of the hand with the Actuating head 8 during the working stroke generates just as much rotational resistance, that the wrap spring 12 can release the plunger 6 and this itself only moves axially downwards without rotating.
- the Wrap spring 12 the plunger, which is together with the knife 5 and the actuating head 8 turns. Since in the described operating mode the hand during the return stroke usually no longer in contact with the actuating head 8 there is no resistance to its rotation.
- a pawl part 20 is rotatably connected to the upper end of the plunger 6. On the circumference of this pawl part 20 there are radially flexible spring tongues 21 arranged essentially tangentially, at the ends of each one tooth 22 projecting essentially radially outward.
- Invisible cylindrical extension of the pawl part 20 fits into a receiving bore 25, which is provided in the actuating head 8 and is there by on Pawl part 20 existing snap hooks 23 held.
- the described backstop can of course also be designed according to the principle of kinematic reversal in such a way that the spring tongues are arranged in the actuating head, the teeth approximately protrude radially inwards.
- the teeth would be external teeth trained, arranged on the tappet itself or on a part of the is rotatably connected to the plunger.
- the spring tongues 21 together with the one molded onto each end Tooth 22 are advantageously formed in one piece with the pawl part 22, in particular by plastic injection molding.
- the actuating head 8 is also advantageously made of plastic by injection molding.
