Definitions
- the invention relates to a rewinder with a contact roller that runs against the circumference a wrap is adjustable.
- a printed web is placed on one Core, usually a cardboard tube, wound up.
- Core usually a cardboard tube
- the core is with drivable chucks between two reel arms of the rewinder held.
- a lay-on roller can be adjusted to wind the web when the web is wound up presses against the wrap. The main aim of this is to prevent air bubbles be enclosed between the individual winding layers.
- the lay-on roller is not driven, but runs freely. It is with pneumatic cylinders hired.
- the pneumatic adjustment mechanism and the contact roller are carried by a sledge. If the winding radius increases If the pneumatic cylinder is retracted accordingly, the slide moves a short distance back, with the pneumatic cylinders extending again to the contact roller to keep the wrap on.
- the core can be driven in opposite directions, and that Web is either of the gap between the roll and the lay-on roller fed from above or from below, depending on whether the web with the printed Side inwards or with the printed side outwards should.
- roller arms that hold the core and the winding are around an axis pivotable.
- the roller arms swivel with the full roll from a winding position to a take-off position, in which the full wrap can be removed. Swing at the same time additional roller arms, which carry a new, empty core, into the winding position.
- the web is first led to the take-off position via deflection rollers and continues to be wound on the full wrap, but runs close to it empty winding core over.
- the lay-on roller is parked so that the Track not touched. On the empty core is a glue point for gluing the Train prepared.
- the takeover of the web on the empty reel is done by the feed roller is placed against the empty core at the right moment is so that the web is pressed against the glue point and glued. At the same time, the web is between the empty core and the full winding cut off with a roughly serrated knives. The severed end of the old one Web is wound up on the old, full wrap. On the new core becomes the short path section between the glue point and the cutting position deflected and wrapped in a new wrap when the Web is wound onto the new core.
- the conventional rewinder described allows at full speed printing press a full wrap against a new one Exchange core.
- the distance between the Roller arms vary according to the length of the core.
- the web width can for example over a range from 100% to 50% of the maximum Web width vary.
- the lay-on roller should be replaced by a roller of the appropriate length because otherwise the roller arms with drives and bearings for the chuck on the longer bump roller.
- the exchange of the contact roller is labor intensive.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a rewinder that is simpler The web width can be adjusted without changing the feed roller.
- the contact roller in at least two roller segments is divided, at least one of which is an adjusting mechanism with which it is independent of another roller segment can be switched off.
- the contact roller can, for example, be a longer medium one Have roller segment and at their ends in several shorter roller segments be divided. If you change the web width then you do not need it is no longer necessary to replace the contact roller, Place the matching shorter segments at the ends of the lay-on roller suitable length of the lay-on roller for the web width.
- Such a rewinder saves a lot of work and time Change of web width. In addition, it is no longer necessary to lay down rollers of different types To keep lengths.
- the contact roller is in a longer one Main roller segment and several shorter secondary roller segments divided, with the main roller segment in the middle and the secondary roller segments on are arranged on both sides of the main roller segment.
- the main roller segment is firmly attached to a swing arm, whereas each sub-roller segment has its own adjustment mechanism, which is also on the Swing arm is attached.
- Each sub-roller segment is with its adjustment mechanism independent of the other roller segments into a first and a second position adjustable.
- the secondary roller segment is in the first position axially aligned with the main roller segment, and in the second position it is farther from the roll than the main roll segment.
- a secondary roller segment in the second position is so far from the axis of the core that it is the roller arms with the drives and bearings for the chuck cannot touch. Starting the roller segments to the winding or core can suddenly with a pneumatic cylinder take place to keep the web against a glue point while the printing press is running to stick on an empty core.
- the web is preferably cut off with a coarse toothed knife, similar to the lay-on roller divided into several knife segments is.
- the tee knife is preferably divided at the same axial positions becomes the lay-on roller, and when the web is severed, the ones laid on Corresponding roller segments deflected corresponding knife segments so that they separate the web.
- the arrangement of the tee knife and the construction of a device for Exchange of a full, first roll for an empty core of a second Wickels can in a known manner according to the state described of technology.
- the divided cutting knife is preferably so to a core of an empty roll and one to the core of the empty roll passed and arranged on a full roll, that with the abrupt setting of the roller segments against the core of the empty roll between the employed roll segments and the core pinched web by simultaneously deflecting the corresponding Knife segments at a point between the core of the empty roll and the full wrap is separable.
- both below and a divided knock-off knife is also arranged above the divided contact roller.
- the web can then be moved from above as well as from via pulleys fed below the gap between the divided contact roller and the roll depending on whether the web with the printed side facing in or should be wound up with the printed side facing out.
- the rocker with the main roller segment attached and the adjustment mechanisms of the sub-roller segments relative to the roll and to a carriage which the rocker carries, adjustable in the axial direction.
- This enables finer adjustment the length of the employed part of the contact roller to the web width. Because the web width is then also the width of a single sub-roller segment can be changed, for example in the case of an asymmetrical configuration, where only a sub roll segment next to the end of the main roll segment is employed, by the axial adjustment of the contact roller on the Web is aligned.
- the chucks for the core are preferably each on the Outside a collar, its peripheral surface with the peripheral surface of the core is flush.
- the divided cutting knife if present, is preferably common here axially displaceable with the rocker of the roller segments, so that it is in a corresponding manner Way to the web width and the axial position relative to the winding can be adjusted.
- Figure 1 shows a part of a cross section through a rewinder according to the invention with a contact roller 10 which a web 12 against a core 13 of a Wraps 14 presses.
- the core 13 of the winding 14 is with drivable chucks 16 held between two roller arms 18.
- the contact roller 10 is divided into several roller segments, which are coaxial in FIG. 1 are arranged.
- An axis 20 of a main roll segment of the lay-on roll 10 is at both ends with two brackets 22 on a longitudinal strut 24 one Swing arm 26 attached.
- the rocker 26 is with an axis 28 on one Carriage 30 stored. While the swing arm via a pneumatic cylinder 32 26 with the main roller segment of the contact roller 10 against the core of the winding 14 is turned on, with the carriage 30 on which the rocker arm 26 and thus also the contact roller 10 are attached to the position of the rocker the circumference of the winding 14 can be adjusted.
- the carriage 30 has cutouts 44 into which the roller arms 18 with drives and bearings for the chuck 16 of the still almost empty roll 14 protrude.
- Figure 2 shows a longitudinal section through the rewinder of Figure 1 at height the axis 20 of the contact roller 10.
- the contact roller 10 is in a central main roller segment 46 and eight secondary roller segments arranged at the ends thereof 34 divided.
- the main roller segment 46 takes its length substantially corresponds to a minimum width of the web 12, approximately 50% of the maximum Length of the lay-on roller 10 while by applying the shorter one Secondary roller segments a gradual adjustment of the length of the contact roller in a range from 50% to 100% of the maximum length of the contact roller can.
- the holders 22 with which the main roller segment 46 is attached the longitudinal strut 24 of the rocker 26 is attached.
- the pneumatic cylinder 40 on the wings 38 of the secondary roller segments 34 are on the longitudinal strut 42 Swing arm 26 attached. Shown is also the axis 28 with which the rocker arm 26 is mounted on the carriage 30.
- the core 13 of the still empty roll 14 is driven at both ends Chuck 16 attached and is held by the roller arms 18.
- the chucks for the core 13 each have one on the outside Collar 48, the peripheral surface of which is flush with the peripheral surface of the core 13.
- FIG. 3 shows the part of the cross section of the rewinder from FIG. 1 in which the secondary roller segments 34 are now in a second position in which they do not rest on the winding 14.
- the pneumatic cylinders 40 are retracted, whereby the rockers 38 are pivoted about the axis 50. Just that Main roller segment 46 is applied to the winding 14.
- Figure 4 shows a longitudinal section through the configuration shown in Figure 3 of the rewinder.
- the length of the core 13 of the winding 14 is less than that Length of the main roller segment 46, and the roller arms 18 are on a corresponding one Distance.
- the secondary roller segments 34 not created are in this position so far from the central axis 52 of the core 13 that they do not touch the roller arms 18 with the driven chucks 16.
- FIG. 5 shows different configurations of the rewinder, each with different ones Web widths outlined.
- Figure 5a shows a configuration with a employed sub-roller segment.
- Figure 5b shows a configuration with two employees Sub-roller segments and
- Figure 5c a configuration with four employees In addition to roller segments.
- Figure 5a shows an embodiment of the rewinder in which the main roller segment 46 and the secondary roller segments 34 of the contact roller 10 relative are axially displaceable to the winding 14.
- asymmetrical Configuration is only a sub roll segment 34 coaxial with the main roll segment 46 aligned so that the winding 14 have a web width may be between the length of the main roll segment 46 and the length of the Main roller segment 46 with two created secondary roller segments 34, as is the case in Figure 5b.
- the contact roller 10 is adjusted so that it protrudes from the winding 14 on both sides, so that undesirable high edge pressures can be avoided.
- Figures 6a to 6e show a sequence of different stages during winding.
- a cross section through the one already shown in the figures is shown in each case 3 and 4 shown rewinder, in which some secondary roller segments 34 of Contact roller 10 are not aligned coaxially with the main roller segment 46, but are in the second position shown in Figure 3.
- the rocker arm 26, the main roller segment 46 and the secondary roller segments 34 carries with their adjusting mechanisms 36, with its axis 28 on the Carriage 30 mounted, being driven by the pneumatic cylinder 32 with a another pneumatic cylinder 52 is arranged in series about the axis 28 is pivotable.
- the carriage 30 is slidably mounted on rails 54 which are attached to a frame 56.
- the web 12 closes via deflection rollers 58 the gap between the contact roller 10 and the winding 14 out.
- the web is fed from above.
- the web can also be fed from below via deflection rollers 60, such as is indicated by a dash-dotted line.
- Above and below the Swing arm 26 is a knock-off knife 62, the construction of which is shown below will be explained from Figure 7 attached to the carriage 30.
- roller arms 64 are pivotable about an axis 66.
- roller arms 64 are further deflection rollers 68 moved a support member 70.
- FIG. 6b shows a stage the winding, in which the circumference of the winding 14 on the core 13 is clear is bigger.
- the carriage 30 was moved on the rails 54 while the pneumatic cylinder 32 continues the contact roller 10 to the circumference of the Wraps 14 presses.
- the winding 14 is up to approximately a maximum winding radius wound.
- the carriage 30 has moved back correspondingly far.
- On the roller arms 64 is a core 72 with a prepared adhesive 74 for one second winding 75 held. By pivoting them in the direction of arrow 76, exchange the roller arms 18 with the roller arms 64 their position.
- FIG. 6d The resulting state is shown in Figure 6d.
- the pneumatic cylinder 52 is however retracted so far that the on the rocker 26 attached contact roller 10 does not touch the web 12.
- the web 12 touches neither does the core 72, but runs past the core 72 over the deflection rollers 68 to the full wrap 14 where it continues to be wound.
- the Prepared glue point 74 (FIG. 6c) on the empty core 72 is the contact roller 10 facing.
- Figure 6e shows the moment when a sudden extension of the pneumatic cylinder 52 the rocker 26 presses the contact roller 10 against the empty core 72.
- the web 12 is pressed against the prepared adhesive point 74 (FIG. 6c) and glued to the core 72.
- the lower of the two knives 62 deflected so that it is the web 12 at a point between the core 72 and the winding 14 cuts.
- the shorter free end 76 of the Web 12 is also wrapped in the winding 72 during the further winding the separated, longer remainder 78 of the web 12 continues onto the winding 14 is wound up.
- the printing press can also use the winding continue to run at full speed.
- the full roll 14 can now be taken from the rewinder are removed so that the state shown in Figure 6a again results.
- FIG. 7 shows part of the cross section of the rewinder from FIG. 6e, in which the knives 62 are shown in more detail.
- One segment each is shown of the upper and lower knives 62.
- Each knife segment has a roughly serrated blade 80, which on a base body 82 of the knife segment is attached.
- the base body 82 is on a swivel arms 84 Longitudinal strut 86 of the carriage 30 attached.
- a deflection into that for that lower cutting knife position shown in dashed lines is done by an extension of a pneumatic cylinder 88, which is connected via a further longitudinal strut 90 to the Carriage 30 is attached.
- the one separated from the lower knife 62 during deflection Remaining 78 of web 12 is shown here in dashed lines.
- Figure 8 shows a longitudinal section through the rewinder at the level of a knock-off knife 62.
- the knock-off knife 62 like the contact roller 10, is in segments divided. All segments of the knife 62 can by the pneumatic cylinder 88 are deflected independently of each other. A deflected position 92 of the blades 80 of the cutting knife 62 is shown in dashed lines. The longer, middle knife segment 94 is moved by two pneumatic cylinders 88, while the shorter knife segments 95 each from a pneumatic cylinder 88 are moved.
