Device for forming a metal or similar hollow body (5) by introducing inside said hollow body (5) a high-pressure fluid according to a so-called hydroforming method, said device comprising at least one tool (3) consisting of at least two parts (3a, 3b) respectively provided with a draught (4a, 4b) and suitable for receiving the metal hollow body (5) to be formed, and a frame (1) consisting of a hollow revolution part open at at least one of the ends thereof and suitable for receiving the tool (3), characterised in that the frame (1) comprises a central recess (2) of a tapered shape oriented upwards and suitable for receiving the tool (3) also having a tapered shape, in that the device comprises a tubular structure (14) consisting of vertical girders (15), said tool (3) being introduced into the central recess (2) of the frame (1) by means of vertical translation along the vertical girders (15) of the structure (14).
  2. Device according to claim 1 characterised in that the tubular structure (14) comprises longitudinal girders (17) extending above the frame (1) and supporting pressurised fluid feed tubes (18).
  3. Device according to any of the above claims, characterised in that it comprises hydraulic cylinders arranged to move the frame (1) upwards to introduce the tool (3) by means of vertical translation along the vertical girders (15) of the structure (14) in the central recess (2) of the frame (1).
  4. Device according to any of claims 1 to 2, characterised in that it comprises hydraulic cylinders arranged to introduce the tool (3) into the central recess (2) of the fixed frame (1), by means of a vertical translation of said tool (3).
  5. Device according to any of the above claims, characterised in that the draughts (4a, 4b) of the tool (3) comprise embossing means to emboss the hollow body (5) during the introduction of the tool (3) into the central recess (2) of the frame (1).
