Definitions
- the invention relates to a seal meter with the generic features of claim 1.
- joints are sealed between Tiles, abutting wall corners, between Bathtub edges and an adjacent wall, Kitchen countertops and an adjacent wall and similar seals made of acrylic or silicone on the abutting walls applied. Owing to Signs of aging need these silicone joints from time to time Time, ideally every five years, the ingress of mold between the surface and prevent the sealant.
- the hollow profile 4 is made of plastic, which the Cutting edges 3 are not sufficiently sharp to Lift the sealant clean off the surface. Moreover hard bumps on the surface damage the Cutting edges 3, so the sealing knife only very is permanently applicable. Another disadvantage is that this hollow profile 4 with the two in a fixed Cutting edges 3 at an angle to one another only for walls with an appropriate angle between them can be. Seals between the top of one Bathtub, which is usually not a level but an easy one has an arcuate surface, and an adjacent Room wall are with the two mutually rigid cutting edges 3 difficult or impossible to lift with one cut.
- cutting tools of a different type also hand shavers that have a razor head that one of them in a lateral direction to the cutting plane protruding handle.
- the razor head carries one Razor blade for shaving body hair.
- it is a device that works with both Look at the technical requirements as well Field of application deviating far from that considered above
- the purpose of a sealing knife lies and therefore for the following considerations for the expert with an eye on a variety of specials in the construction and Material selection as not obvious for a takeover of Characteristics can be seen.
- This tool also has the problem that the Use only with adjacent walls with one appropriate angle between these can be used. As soon as the angle between the walls is less than 90 °, the silicone joint cannot be removed to the far corner become. If the angle is greater than 90 °, two Cuts are made with the tool once lengthways of the floor and once along the wall.
- Another disadvantage is that the cutting body from one Form plastic or with a plastic coating is to be provided in order to prevent that on one of the Scraper strips through metal parts of a walls Be left behind. This problem will straight through the two arranged at 90 ° to each other Cutting body reinforced with the cutting edges, with adjacent walls with an angle smaller 90 ° scratches on the surface or the wall, what is not currently being cut, inevitably by the adjacent or repeatedly abutting edge of the not over this surface sliding cutter body are caused.
- Another disadvantage is that a handle on the various known tools is always firmly locked on the tool and therefore no variable guidance in the case of poorly accessible Border areas is made possible.
- the object of the invention is a sealing knife for simplified and efficient handling structurally that seals within a significantly improved can be lifted off a surface for a shorter period of time can.
- the starting point is a seal meter with a Cutting edge for lifting a seal from one Cutting surface and with a handle to Guide the cutting edge over this surface.

- to Improvement is the cutting edge on one Cutting body, which with a laterally protruding handle can be routed evenly over the surface.
- the handle can be used by at least one of the two lateral edges of the cutting edge are spaced such that the cutting edge has a Hand easily up to an angle of two angled abutting surfaces can be performed.
- the cutting edge is at an angle to each other correspondingly not too thick cutting body yet easily into the rearmost areas of the To lead over which the cutting edge to Removing the seal is performed. In a next one The cutting edge is then over the led adjacent underground and thus the seal easily with two easy to use forward and / or Back movements of the gasket knife from the Walls solved.
- the actual cutting body as a flat insert to form at least one beveled cutting edge enables production by means of simple powder metallurgical or powder ceramic processes.
- a flat cutting insert can also extend up to led into angular areas of two adjacent walls become.
- the front bevelled cutting edge can Cutting insert advantageously also particularly evenly and guided closely over the surface so that scratches like when using a Knife with protruding and laterally bent blade or a slightly tilted hollow profile avoided can be.
- the cutting body with the cutting edge in particular as Cutting plate by simply pressing metal powders or Ceramic powders and subsequent sintering can be made can, is also providing a sufficiently sharp and cutting edge resistant to damage guaranteed simple technical means.
- Cutting edges on two opposite sides of the Training the cutting body offers the particularly advantageous Possibility of cutting with a forward movement Lift off the sealing compound from the substrate and possibly remaining gasket remnants with a short To finally lift the backward movement from the ground.
- Cutting edges on at least two directly adjacent sides training the cutting body makes it particularly possible effective use when working in corners where three Butt the room walls together. With a longitudinal movement to the Lifting a seal up to the corner can be the first Gasket lifted off between two adjacent walls become. Once in the corner, the seal knife needs just to be moved to the right or left, too to lift off the seal on the same surface and the other wall in the corner is formed.
- Attach the handle firmly to the cutting body or training offers the possibility of a simple and To provide inexpensive tools, for example to be pressed in one piece using powder metallurgy.
- the handle, firmly attached to the cutting body offers users also a stable guidance of the cutting edge or flat cutting body on the underside over the subsurface.
- a Handle bracket which is a pivotable attachment of the Grip on the cutting body allows as this Areas of application of the sealing knife during handling especially expanded by experienced people. Went out is also from a seal meter with a Cutting edge for lifting a seal from one Cutting surface and with a handle to Guide the cutting edge over this surface.
- a cutting body in particular a cutting plate with the cutting edge on at least one Provided peripheral side of the cutting body and a handle attached to it in such a way that it is from one side of the Cutting body in the lateral direction to the cutting plane projects. If the handle according to this embodiment in a Plane to the side of the cutting direction, d. H.
