Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Verbesserung der Spinnstabilität, wobei gerissenen Filamente mittels eines zwischen den Abzugsdüsen situierten Glühdrahts getrennt werden.

Description

Bei der Herstellung von schmelzgesponnenen Fasern mittels pneumatischer Abzugsdüsen kommt es bei höheren Abzugsgeschwindigkeiten immer wieder zu Filamentbrüchen im Kühlbereich.
Diese Filamentbrüchen sind meist auf Qualitätsschwankungen in der Rohstoffzusammensetzung zurückzuführen..
Die abgerissenen Filamente werden durch die Abzugsdüse nicht mehr unter Spannung gehalten und bewegen sich daher durch ihr geringeres Eigengewicht deutlich langsamer als die nicht gerissenen Filamente nach unten. Schließlich werden die gerissenen Filamente wird durch die Abzugsdüsen erfasst und mitgerissen.
Durch die gerissenen Filamente entstehen jedoch Fehlstellen in der anschließenden Filamentablage bei der Vliesherstellung und in weiterer Folge auch Fehlstellen in einem verfestigten Geotextil.
Ein Großteil der gerissenen Filamente wird meist durch zwei nebeneinanderliegende Abzugsdüsen erfasst, die Filamente bilden eine Brücke zwischen diesen Abzugsdüsen und können der Vliesablage nicht zugeführt werden.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es eine Vorrichtung zur schnellst möglichen Zerstörung dieser Brücken bereitzustellen um Fehlstellen bei der Ablage der Filamente und damit auch im Vlies oder Geotextil zu vermeiden.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist daher eine Vorrichtung zur Vermeidung von Filamentbrücken zwischen zwei oder mehreren Abzugsdüsen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwischen den Abzugsdüsen ein kurzer Glühdraht situiert ist, der mindestens auf die Schmelztemperatur des für die Herstellung der Schmelzspinnfilamente verwendeten Polymers oder der Polymermischung erhitzt ist.
Der kurze Glühdraht wird zwischen zwei Abzugsdüsen situiert und mindestens auf die Schmelztemperatur des zur Filamentherstellung verwendeten Polymers erhitzt.
An der Kontaktstelle mit einem von beiden Abzugsdüsen erfassten Filament wird dieses Filamente geschmolzen, die Brücke getrennt und die Filamentteile von den Abzugsdüsen weitertransportiert.
Vorzugsweise wird der Glühdraht bei Pyrolysetemperatur betrieben, also bei etwa 500°C. Dadurch bleiben am Glühdraht keine Reste der Schmelze haften, der Glühdraht arbeitet dann selbstreinigend.
In Fig. 1 ist eine erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung dargestellt.
Darin bedeuten 1 die Spinndüsen, 2 die Abzugsdüsen, 3 den Glühdraht, 4 die Filament, 5 ein gerissenes Filament das von beiden Abzugsdüsen erfasst wurde und 6 die Kontaktstelle dieses Filaments mit dem Glühdraht.

Claims (2)

  1. Vorrichtung zur Vermeidung von Filamentbrücken zwischen zwei oder mehreren Abzugsdüsen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwischen den Abzugsdüsen ein kurzer Glühdraht situiert ist, der mindestens auf die Schmelztemperatur des für die Herstellung der Schmelzspinnfilamente verwendeten Polymers oder der Polymermischung erhitzt ist.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Glühdraht auf Pyrolysetemperatur betrieben wird und dadurch selbstreinigend arbeitet.
