Abstract

La présente invention concerne des matériaux pour des électrolytes acides solides améliorés, des procédés de synthèse de tels matériaux, et des dispositifs électrochimiques incorporant de tels matériaux. Le matériau d'électrolyte stable comporte un acide solide capable d'être soumis à une déformation rotationnelle de groupes d'oxyanions et capable de fonctionnement prolongé à des températures élevées. C'est à dire, des acides solides comprenant des groupes anioniques à liaisons d'hydrogène; une phase superprotonique déformée trigone, tétragone, ou cubique; et capable de fonctionner à des températures d'au moins ∩100 °C.
