- the outer contour of the tab 22 and the securing lever 23 is completely adapted to the contour of the flange 14, as can be seen from FIGS. 3 to 6. Only the lower end of the tab 22 and the locking lever 23 protrude slightly downward from the lower edge of the flange 14.
- Fig. 4 the closed position of the container 10 is shown with the lid 30 attached and locked.
- tab 22 and locking lever 23 are in a position aligned with the outer contour of flange 14. If the tool 20 is now to be used to partially lift the lid edge 32 in this area to open the lid 30, the securing lever 23 must first be pressed in toward the wall 13 of the container 10, the indicator elements (tear-off webs) being opened when the lid is opened for the first time. 25, 27 are destroyed (see FIG. 5). It is conceivable to fix the securing lever 23 in the position shown in FIG. 5 via assigned latching elements on the wall 13, if this is desired.
- a latching projection 46, 48 is formed on the two edges of the securing lever 13 facing the flange ends 68, 70, which protrudes in the direction of the respective flange end 68, 70.

- Such an embodiment can advantageously be used when the container is to be filled with a color, for example, in which a mixing process is to be made possible and after the mixing has taken place securing the tool 20b against reopening is to be ensured. This is of interest, for example, in shops, hardware stores or the like, in which a specific color is mixed at the customer's request and the lid is then to be secured against unauthorized opening.
