Description

The present invention relates generally to motor vehicle headlamps equipped with a discharge lamp.
Discharge lamps in particular of the metal halogen type (typically sodium iodide) are more and more frequently used as light sources in such projectors.
They indeed enjoy the appreciable advantage of being able, at comparable consumed power, to provide a much greater luminous intensity than in the case of conventional halogen filament lamps.
However, these lamps have the disadvantage of generating, at the level of their arc, electromagnetic fields which pose a serious problem with regard to the requirements of electromagnetic compatibility, both in transmission and in reception, generally imposed by the specifications. It will be observed in this regard that, by the development of electronic circuits ensuring certain safety functions on board a vehicle, these requirements are today more and more severe.
Ainsi le documentThere are already provisions intended to shield as much as possible a discharge lamp and these supply circuits. So the document
Cependant, ce type de blindage électromagnétique, dit « à griffes », ne permet pas toujours d'atteindre les exigences en terme de blindage mentionnées plus haut.FR 2783593 describes a motor vehicle headlamp, comprising a reflector on which is fixed a lamp holder for mounting a discharge lamp and a high voltage connector capable of being attached to the lamp mounted in the lamp holder, to ensure the power supply of this lamp. The reflector has an electrically conductive shielding layer. The lamp holder has a metal part fixed on the reflector so as to be in electrical contact with said layer. The connector has a metal shielding envelope. The lamp holder or the connector has at least one elastically deformable conductive tab capable of ensuring electrical continuity between the lamp holder and the connector during mounting of said connector. However, this type of electromagnetic shielding, called "claw", does not always make it possible to achieve the requirements in terms of shielding mentioned above.
The present invention aims to overcome the limitations of the state of the art, to ensure electrical continuity, within a projector, between the reflector and the lamp holder and thus allow good electromagnetic compatibility between these elements.
This object is achieved by a headlamp for a motor vehicle comprising an at least partially conductive reflector, a lamp holder for supporting a lamp through an orifice of the reflector, this lamp holder having a metal ring connected to the ground of the motor vehicle, and a conductive element electrically connecting the reflector and the metal ring, characterized in that the conductive element extends electrically continuously over 360 degrees around the orifice to provide electromagnetic shielding between the reflector and the lamp holder .
In fact, thanks to the invention, a 360 ° conduction is produced around the parts of the reflector and of the lamp holder, to be assembled together. Shielding therefore more effectively limits leakage of electromagnetic waves and better meets the requirements of specifications in terms of shielding.
Des aspects préférés mais non limitatifs des projecteurs selon l'invention sont les suivants :Preferred but non-limiting aspects of the projectors according to the invention are the following:
- l'élément conducteur est fixé au porte-lampe grâce à une rondelle de fixation, coopérant avec une structure du porte-lampe sans altérer le revêtement anti-corrosion de ce dernier, par exemple, la rondelle de fixation possède des languettes aptes à pénétrer dans une ouverture du porte- lampe ;- the conductive element is fixed to the lamp holder by means of a fixing washer, cooperating with a structure of the lamp holder without altering the anti-corrosion coating of the latter, for example, the fixing washer has tongues capable of penetrating in an opening of the lamp holder;
- l'élément conducteur est fixé au réflecteur grâce à un collier ;- the conductive element is fixed to the reflector by means of a collar;
- l'élément conducteur est apte à permettre un rattrapage du jeu éventuel entre le réflecteur et le porte-lampe ou un déplacement relatif entre le réflecteur et le porte-lampe ; - l'élément conducteur est constitué d'un matériau métallique tissé ;- The conductive element is able to allow a possible backlash between the reflector and the lamp holder or a relative movement between the reflector and the lamp holder; - the conductive element consists of a woven metallic material;
- l'élément conducteur a une forme en spirale ; et- the conductive element has a spiral shape; and
The conductive element consists of cylindrical elements fitted into each other. According to another aspect, the invention relates to an electromagnetic shielding element for a motor vehicle, characterized in that it consists of a conductive element extending over 360 degrees around an axis and between an end intended to be electrically connected to a lamp holder and another end intended to be electrically connected to a conductive zone lining at least in part at least one of the surfaces of a reflector.
Other aspects, aims and advantages of the present invention will appear better on reading the following detailed description of preferred embodiments thereof, given by way of nonlimiting examples and which refer to the appended drawings in which:
- la figure 1 est une vue schématique en coupe horizontale et axiale d'une partie d'un projecteur selon une première forme de réalisation de l'invention ;- Figure 1 is a schematic view in horizontal and axial section of part of a projector according to a first embodiment of the invention;
- la figure 2 est une vue de dessus d'un élément de blindage électromagnétique tel que celui équipant le projecteur de la figure 1 ;- Figure 2 is a top view of an electromagnetic shielding element such as that fitted to the projector of Figure 1;
- la figure 3 est une vue schématique en coupe horizontale et axiale de l'élément de blindage représenté sur la figure 2 ;- Figure 3 is a schematic view in horizontal and axial section of the shielding element shown in Figure 2;
- la figure 4 est une vue de dessus schématique d'une rondelle de fixation d'un élément de blindage électromagnétique tel que celui représenté sur les figures 2 et 3, sur le projecteur représenté à la figure 1 ; et- Figure 4 is a schematic top view of a washer for fixing an electromagnetic shielding element such as that shown in Figures 2 and 3, on the projector shown in Figure 1; and
- la figure 5 représente schématiquement en perspective des variantes de l'élément de blindage représenté sur les figures 2 et 3.FIG. 5 is a diagrammatic perspective view of variants of the shielding element shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.
Conventionally, this comprises a housing closed at the front by a crystal and defining an interior space, but these elements have not been shown in the drawings for the sake of concern simpimcauon. In the interior space of the housing is housed a reflector 2 in the region of the bottom of which is mounted a lamp holder 4.
La bague métallique 8 est percée de trois lumières 10 destinées à recevoir chacune respectivement un picot 12 d'une rondelle de fixation 14.The lamp holder 4 has means for fixing and adjusting the positioning 6 of the lamp holder 4 in the housing. The lamp holder 4 also has a metal ring 8 connected to the mass of the motor vehicle. The metal ring 8 is pierced with three slots 10 each intended to receive a pin 12, respectively, of a fixing washer 14.
Le réflecteur 2 est réalisé par injection de matière thermodurcissableAs shown in FIG. 2, this fixing washer 14 consists of a metal washer whose edge corresponding to the inside diameter is provided with pins 12 extending radially towards the center of the washer. The pins 12 consist of a tongue which has, in section in a plane perpendicular to that of the washer and parallel to a radial direction, a V shape. The tongues constituting the pins 12 are flexible and elastic. The bottom of the V of each tab enters a lumen 10 (fig. 1). Folded in this way, the tabs have no sharp edges. Therefore, unlike self-locking washers of the "circlip" type often used in mechanics, the fixing washer 14 can be fixed to the metal ring 8 without damaging the anti-corrosion coating of the latter. The reflector 2 is produced by injection of thermosetting material
Ce revêtement électriquement conducteur est par exemple constitué d'aluminium.(projector of the parabolic type or with anti-generating reflecting surface of at least part of the beam photometry). To ensure shielding of the discharge lamp, the reflector 2 has on its rear face an electrically conductive layer 16 produced for example by overmolding the thermosetting material of the reflector 2 on or around a thin metal insert or by physical or chemical deposition an electrically conductive coating. This electrically conductive coating is for example made of aluminum.
A conductive shielding element 18 electrically connects the conductive layer 16 to the metal ring 8 (Fig.1). As shown in FIG. 3, this conductive element 18 consists of a cylindrical metallic knit 19 stretched between an internal washer 20 integral with the fixing washer 14 (see also FIG. 4) intended to be mounted on the metal ring 8 of the door lamp 4 and a collar 24 intended to be mounted on reflector 2.
The collar 24 provides electrical continuity between the conductive element 18 and the conductive layer 16. The metallic knit 19 is flexible and thus makes it possible to adapt without interrupting the electrical conduction between the reflector 2 and the lamp holder 4, to possible play between these parts and / or when there is a relative displacement of these parts (for passing low beam, main beam for example). The electrical continuity between the reflector 2 and the lamp holder 4 is thus perfectly maintained in all circumstances and is thus completely enveloping as required by the constraints linked to the classes of electromagnetic field to be achieved from now on.
Many variants of the embodiment described above can be envisaged.
La figure 5 en illustre quelques unes.Figure 5 illustrates some of them.
Figure 5a shows a conductive shielding element 18 in the form of a spiral spring. The turns 26 of the spring must be almost contiguous in order to allow only a small amount of electromagnetic waves to pass and thus allow enveloping shielding while allowing possible relative movement of the reflector 2 and the lamp holder 4. The section of the turns 26 can be any.
FIG. 5c represents a conductive shielding element 18 consisting of a mesh 30 or a conductive fabric (woven or not).
A reflector 2 of thermosetting material has been described above, but the reflector 2 can be made of stamped sheet metal, in a conventional manner per se.
Likewise, the case where the conductive element 18 is electrically connected to the metal ring 8 of a lamp holder 4 has been described above. But in a completely equivalent manner, the conductive element 18 can be electrically connected to a connector itself connected to the lamp or to another part capable of forming an enveloping shielding of the projector.
