Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing a damped manhole cover by positively supporting a closure piece in a frame, such as a manhole cover in a manhole frame of a manhole cover, wherein between the closure piece and the frame, a damping intermediate layer is inserted and a manhole cover with accessories for performing the method.
- a disadvantage of the known damping for the manhole cover it is also that prefabricated rings or ring segments are used, which are adapted to the diameter or the shape of the respective manhole cover. For each size and shape of the cover must therefore be made a separate damping insert. This means increased costs and extensive storage. Furthermore, such a prefabricated disc damping can not compensate for the different, existing in the manufacture of the manhole cover and by abrasion or wear or resulting tolerances. The manhole cover will therefore continue to move when driving over motor vehicles in both directions jerky radially, resulting in a high wear of manhole cover and frame as well as the damping ring conditionally. This wear is aggravated by the penetrated into the annular gap between the frame and lid and an emery effect generating grainy dirt.
- the publication DE 1 658 292 A describes a method of matching a bezel cover cover or vice versa.
- a paste-like filling amount is applied between a skirt and the cover of a manhole cover after the bearing surfaces of the skirt have been cleaned.
- the filling compound consists of two components to be mixed.
- the lid is pressed so far into the enclosure until its surface is flush with the surface of the enclosure. Superfluous material comes out of the gap.
- the lid is held in this position with a support member until the filler is fully cured after 2 to 3 hours. After this time, the cover of the roadway for traffic can be used again.
- From the CH 446 210 A is a manhole cover with frame and lid known in which between the frame and the lid, a plastic layer is inserted.
- the manhole cover is made by a two-step process using a service cover.
- an auxiliary cover with a circumferential plastic layer is placed on a shaft to be closed elastic plate, so that there is a small gap between the mounting frame and the auxiliary cover.
- This gap is filled with plastic.
- the auxiliary cover is removed and placed the actual cover on the plate.
- the resulting gap is also filled with plastic, so that a two-part plastic layer between the lid and mounting frame is formed. Due to the two-step nature of the process, the plastic must cure twice. The duration of the production is therefore very long, the concomitant impairment of traffic also.
- the object of the invention is therefore to produce a damped manhole cover so that the disadvantages mentioned are avoided, and the closure piece is stored without play, regardless of the size and shape of the manhole cover.
- the production of such a manhole cover should be accompanied by the least possible disruption of traffic.
- the object is achieved according to the invention by a method having the features of claim 1, wherein after removal of a barrier of a bag between a first and second partial bag, a common space is formed, in which the components contained in the two partial bags are mixed together and thereby a forms pasty liquid plastic with a dripping time of 3 to 5 minutes.
- the paste-like liquid plastic is applied to the bearing surfaces of the frame of the manhole cover.
- the stopper is inserted into the frame on the liquid plastic before the drip time expires. After a latency period that is little longer than the drip time, the manhole cover for traffic is released immediately.
- the object is also achieved by a manhole cover with the features of claim 7.
- the manhole cover according to the invention has between its frame and the closure piece on an intermediate layer of hardened liquid plastic.
- the liquid plastic contains granules with a hard grain and has a dripping time of 3 to 5 minutes.
- the dependent claims 2 to 6 and 8 include advantageous developments of the method and the manhole cover according to the invention.
- the advantages achieved by the invention are in particular that by the use of liquid plastic this can be applied in a simple manner stranded on the bearing surface or injected. Due to the pressure effect when placing the closure piece, the liquid plastic is distributed evenly on the radial and axial bearing surface. This results in a radial and axial play-free positive connection between the closure piece and the frame, regardless of both size and shape of the manhole cover, as well as the gap size between the closure piece and the frame. At the same time, unevenness between the two storage areas is automatically compensated. Thus, any movement of the manhole cover, for example, when driving over a motor vehicle, excluded, whereby any wear by friction from casting to casting avoided or at least minimized and any noise pollution is omitted.
- the strand to be laid can not only be adapted to any shape of the cover, but can also be interrupted for the recesses required to operate the dirt catcher.
- Another advantage is that a rapidly curing liquid plastic is used. This eliminates the need for longer Aushärtphasen nash the completion of the manhole cover, because it is reusable and passable after a short time.
- the liquid plastic used is cold-tacking, neither equipment nor labor is needed to previously heat the insulation.
- the inventive method for producing a damped manhole cover thus results a number of advantages, which not only increase the quality and thus the life of the manhole cover, but also their installation is simplified.
- the cover surface of the environmental level can be adjusted continuously, there is also no risk of the manhole cover jumping out when driving over a motor vehicle and noise pollution of the environment is precluded.
- Manhole covers are used to close any manhole openings. They have a manhole cover as a closure piece, which is inserted into a frame. The invention will be explained using the example of its use on a manhole cover, as used for covering a manhole on streets, squares or paths.
- a frame 2 is inserted at ground level into which a closure piece 3 is inserted.
- a damping intermediate layer 4 is placed between the frame 2 and the closure piece 3.
- this intermediate layer 4 is made of plastic, which has been applied or sprayed before inserting the closure piece 3 in doughy form.
- the base material for this consists of a liquid plastic of a two-component material.
- these containers are arranged in a bag 5 made of flexible, preferably transparent film.
- the bag 5 is formed, for example, as at both ends by welds 17 and 18 tightly welded hose.
- In the longitudinal region of the bag 5 is divided by a releasable locking clip 6 in two sub-bags 5 'and 5''.
- the partial bag 5 can be housed from the mass of the plastic, eg polyurethane, existing subset 7 of a component A, while in the other subbag 5''the component B, as the hardener or accelerator existing subset 8 is stored.
- the locking clip 6 can gem.
- Fig. 5 may be formed as a pair of scissors, the arms are held in the closed position by a shutter 9 in the closed position in the closed position. In this additionally engages a web 10 of a scissor arm 6 'in a groove 11 of the other scissor arm 6''to achieve an impermeable separation of the two components A and B, as shown in FIG. 6 can be seen.
- a weak, but dense weld 22 may be provided, which can be solved by pressure on one of the subsets 7 or 8 to their mixing (Fig. 8).
- the closure piece 3 is placed in still soft strand 13, wherein the liquid plastic is distributed in the forming gap between the frame 2 and closure piece 3, as shown in Fig. 3.
- the gap completely filling the intermediate layer 4, wherein even bumps on the bearing surface 14 are automatically compensated.
- the manhole cover e.g. a manhole cover to be traveled by vehicles, can be released and driven after only a few minutes.
- the time required for tidying up and loading the tool is sufficient.
- a granulate 15 is added as a backup for this purpose in the liquid plastic, for example in the subset 7 of the component A.
- This granulate 15 consists of balls with about 1 mm diameter and a hard grain, such as PCV granules or quartz sand.
- the balls of the granules 15 form a separating gap between the bearing surfaces of the frame 2 and closure piece 3, which prevents direct contact. Since the spaces between the balls are filled with liquid plastic, nevertheless creates a closed intermediate layer 4 made of plastic, which holds the closure piece 3 positively and without play in the frame 2.
- the granules 15 may be mixed in the preparation of the subsets 7 and / or 8 or added later during assembly.
- the liquid plastic in the bag 5 is packed in portions so that the content of a bag 5 is sufficient for the installation of a manhole cover. Furthermore, the amount can be adjusted so that the gap between the frame 2 and 3 piece closure is completely filled, as shown in FIG. 3 can be seen. This prevents the ingress of dirt and dust into this gap and its harmful influence on the castings.
- a release agent can be applied to the bearing surface.
- the release agent is carried in a separate container, bag or the like. Conveniently, however, the release agent is contained in a further partial bag 5 ''', which is connected to the bag 5, as Figs. 7 and 8 show. Thus, the entire equipment for the insertion of a manhole cover is always available.
- the partial bag 5 ''' according to a corner. Cut line 19 cut and pressed out the release agent with a cloth on the bearing surfaces as a release layer 20 evenly distributed (Fig. 9).
- the period for the subsequent application of the strand 13 on the frame 2 serves as a contact time, after which the closure piece 3 can be inserted into the frame 2.
- As a separation to the adjacent partial bag 5 'or 5'' is an additional weld 21st
- the inventive method and the resulting manhole cover not only a simple and safe operation, but also a muted, so noise-free and safe lying manhole cover is achieved, which is also produced in a short time. This is achieved without long curing times a non-rebound and radial backlash storage of the closure piece.
- the intermediate layer 4 made of paste-applied liquid plastic is independent in manufacture of the size and shape of the cover.
- the intermediate layer 4 can be arbitrarily interrupted at the necessary for mounting a dirt catcher radial recesses in the frame 2. Similar interruptions can also be provided elsewhere.
