Definitions
- the invention relates to flexible and absorbent substrates which are equipped with cosmetic or dermatological active ingredients or preparations in the form of very finely divided particles in the nanometer range and are suitable for the cleansing, care or therapeutic treatment of the skin.
- the skin is the largest organ in humans. Among its many functions (for example, for heat regulation and as a sensory organ) is the barrier function, probably the most important.
- the skin acts as a protective device against the ingress and absorption of substances coming from outside. This barrier function is caused by the epidermis, which, as the outermost layer, forms the actual protective cover against the environment. At about one-tenth of the total thickness, it is also the thinnest layer of the skin.
- Cleansing of the skin serves to remove dirt, sweat and remnants of dead skin particles, which form an ideal breeding ground for pathogens and parasites of all kinds.
- Cosmetic and / or dermatological cleaning preparations are usually applied in the form of a foam with water on the body parts to be cleaned. Basis almost PAWI ⁇ 2002 ⁇ 201-130.doc All cosmetic or dermatological cleansing preparations are washing-active surfactants.
- Surfactants are amphiphilic substances that can dissolve organic, nonpolar substances in water. They are characterized by an ambivalent behavior towards water and lipids: The surfactant molecule contains at least one each hydrophilic and a lipophilic group, which allow the attachment at the interface between these two classes of substances. In this way, surfactants provide a reduction in the surface tension of the water, the wetting of the skin, the ease of soil removal and dissolution, a gentle rinsing and - as desired - for foam control. This provides the basis for the removal of dirt containing lipids.
- Most cosmetic and dermatological cleansing preparations are in the form of more or less viscous liquids (cleansing waters and milks) or as a solid (e.g., soap, washing synthetics). They are usually applied to the skin with the hands or fingers
- a special product form for cleaning preparations are solid cleaning substrates, in particular cloths. These may already be impregnated with the cleaning preparation by the manufacturer and thus have the advantage that the preparation is already prescribed in them in the correct dosage. In addition, they avoid the disadvantage of stored preparations in bottles, the packaging of which can break and "leak" their contents.
- the other advantages of cleaning substrates / wipes include the fact that they can be conveniently taken in counted amount with travel and for their application usually no more water is required.
- Textiles can be woven, knitted or knitted or present as a composite (English nonwoven textile). Mostly composites are used (for cost reasons). In composites fabric formation is not by warp and weft or knit, but by entanglement, and / or cohesive and / or adhesive bonding of textile fibers.
- Composite materials can be distinguished according to DIN 61210 T2 in fleece, paper wadding and felt.
- Nonwoven fabrics are loose materials of staple fibers (i.e., limited length fiber) or filaments (continuous filaments), usually polypropylene, polyester, or fiber. Viscose produced, the cohesion is generally given by the inherent adhesion of the fibers.
- the individual fibers may have a preferred direction (oriented or cross-layer webs) or non-directional (random webs).
- the nonwovens can be mechanically consolidated by needling, meshing or by swirling by means of sharp water jets.
- Adhesively consolidated webs are formed by bonding the fibers to liquid binders (e.g., acrylate polymers, SBR / NBR, polyvinyl esters, polyurethane dispersions) or by melting or dissolving so-called binder fibers blended into the web during manufacture.
- liquid binders e.g., acrylate polymers, SBR / NBR, polyvinyl esters, polyurethane dispersions
- binder fibers blended into the web during manufacture.
- the fiber surfaces are solubilized by suitable chemicals and bonded by pressure or welded at elevated temperature [J. Falbe, M. Regnitz: Rompp-Chemie-Lexikon, 9th ed. Thieme-Verlag, Stuttgart (1992)
- a second variant is the "spraying process", in which the preparation is sprayed onto the passing cloth.
- This method is suitable for all textiles, but no strong foaming preparations can be applied to the cloth, since the foam development in the spraying process is too large.
- Lubricants for example talcum, boron nitride or starch (derivatives)
- fluxing agents belong to the powder raw materials and are suitable for the preparation of pulverulent preparations, pulverulent, usually very finely divided substances, depending on the intended use of a corresponding moisture or Fettability-, sliding, deck u.
- lubricants tend to settle on the bottom of the bath and thus lead to an uneven impregnation of the cloth with lubricant in Tauchbad vide.
- spraying the lubricants often lead as solids to clogging of the spray nozzles.
- the preparations according to the invention give the skin a surprisingly pleasant, velvety feel on the skin after application.
- impregnated substrates are understood according to the invention substrates that have been soaked by spraying, dipping or stripping with the cosmetic preparation.
- impregnated comprises both wet-feeling, freshly soaked substrates as well as dried or dry-feeling substrates containing the cosmetic preparation in concentrated form.
- the substrates according to the invention can be smooth or surface-structured. According to the invention, surface-structured substrates are preferred.
- the tissue formation by warp and weft, by stitch formation or by entanglement, and / or cohesive and / or adhesive bonding of textile fibers can be carried out.
- the substrate is a composite.
- substrates in the form of wipes which consist of nonwoven, in particular water-jet-bonded and / or water-jet-embossed nonwoven.
- the substrates can advantageously also be designed as a pad, perforated nonwoven or net.
- Such substrates may have macroembossings of any desired pattern. The selection to be made depends on the one hand on the impregnation to be applied and on the other on the field of application on which the subsequent cloth is to be used.
- the cloth when it has a weight of 20 to 120 g / m 2 , preferably from 30 to 80 g / m 2, more preferably 40 to 60 g / m 2 (measured at 20 ° C ⁇ 2 ° C and with a humidity of room air of 65% ⁇ 5% for 24 hours).
- the thickness of the substrate is preferably 0.2 mm to 2 mm, in particular 0.4 mm to 1.5 mm, very particularly preferably 0.6 mm to 0.9 mm.
- raw materials for the nonwoven fabric of the cloth in general, all natural and synthetic organic and inorganic fibers can be used. Examples are viscose, cotton, cellulose, jute; Hemp, sisal, silk, wool, polypropylene, polyester, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), aramid, nylon, polyvinyl derivatives, polyurethanes, polylactide, polyhydroxyalkanoate, cellulose esters and / or polyethylene, as well as mineral fibers such as glass fibers or carbon fibers.
- the present invention is not limited to the materials mentioned, but it can be used a variety of other fibers for web formation. It is particularly advantageous for the purposes of the present invention if the fibers used are not water-soluble.
- the fibers consist of a mixture of 60% to 80% viscose with 40% to 20% PET, in particular 70% viscose and 30% PET. Particularly advantageous is a mixture of 70% viscose and 30% PET.
- fibers made of high-strength polymers such as polyamide, polyester and / or navalgerecktem polyethylene.
- the cloth according to the invention consists of a non-woven fabric, which is held together by a water-insoluble binder.
- the fibers may also be colored in order to emphasize and / or increase the optical attractiveness of the nonwoven.
- the fibers may additionally contain UV stabilizers and / or preservatives.
- the fibers used to form the wipe preferably have a water uptake rate of more than 60 mm / [10 min] (measured by EDANA Test 10.1-72), in particular more than 80 mm / [10 min].
- the fibers used to form the cloth preferably have a water absorption capacity of more than 5 g / g (measured by the EDANA test 10.1-72), in particular more than 8 g / g.
- Advantageous wipes in the sense of the present invention have a breaking strength of in particular [N / 50mm] in the dry state machine direction > 60, preferably> 80 transversely > 20, preferably> 30 in the drenched state machine direction > 4, preferably> 60 transversely > 10, preferably> 20
- the extensibility of advantageous Tuches is preferably in the dry state machine direction 15% to 100%, preferably 20% and 50% transversely 40% to 120%, preferred 50% and 85% in the drenched state machine direction 15% to 100%, preferably 20% and 40% transversely 40% to 120%, preferred 50% and 85%
- the preparation at the time of application to the substrate in a total concentration of 0.01 to 20% by weight, preferably in a total concentration of 0.05 to 10% by weight and most preferably in a total concentration of 0.1 to 5% by weight, based in each case on the total weight of the preparation.
- the total concentration of zinc oxide is from 0.01 to 5 mg per cm 2 of substrate, preferably from 0.05 to 1 mg per cm 2 and very particularly preferably from 0.1 to 0.5 mg per cm 2 .

Description
- a) Wasser
