Abstract

L'objectif de la présente invention est d'améliorer l'ajustement et le pouvoir d'étanchéité d'un système d'étanchéité qui est destiné à une fente (2) située entre deux composants (3, 4) mobiles l'un par rapport à l'autre et un bord d'une ouverture (5) devant être fermée. Un rail de prise (10) peut être fixé sur un premier (3) des composants. Une zone de retenue (14) d'un profilé (15) peut s'enclencher par liaison de forme avec ce rail de prise. Une zone d'étanchéité (16) du profilé (15), qui coopère avec un deuxième (4) des composants de manière à assurer une étanchéité, est fixée sur ladite zone de retenue (14). Afin d'atteindre ledit objectif, ladite zone d'étanchéité (16) est montée de manière latéralement décalée par rapport au rail de prise (10), vers une face interne (7) de la fente. La force résultante (17) d'une force de déformation s'exerçant sur la zone d'étanchéité (16) passe au moins approximativement à travers le rail de prise (10). Lorsque l'on rapproche les deux composants (3, 4), la disposition latéralement décalée de ladite zone d'étanchéité (16) induit une force de déformation qui comprime la zone de retenue du profilé (15) de manière plus rigide dans le rail de prise (10), ce qui permet d'assurer un ajustement sûr et durable du profilé à son emplacement.
