Definitions

  • the invention relates to a floor cleaning device with a flat cleaning head guided on a handle, the underside of which is covered by an interchangeable cleaning textile which is provided on the edge with fastening tabs which protrude beyond the underside of the cleaning head and which extend up to the top of the cleaning head and are arranged in clamping slots there can be determined.
  • the cleaning textile is designed as a thin and light duster, which consists of a thin fleece with dust-attracting properties, which is disposed of after use.
  • a particular advantage of such a floor cleaning device is that the effort for attaching the cleaning text to the cleaning head is extremely low.
  • the fastening tabs projecting beyond the underside of the cleaning head are provided, which, when folded up, extend to the top of the cleaning head and can be fixed there in clamping slots.
  • this simple type of attachment presupposes that the cleaning textile is very light, so that the relatively low holding forces are sufficient to fix the cleaning textile sufficiently firmly to the cleaning head.
  • Floor wiping coverings are also known from the prior art, which are clamped onto a clamping frame guided on a handle as a clamping cover.
  • a tension cover shows the tension frame after all Outstanding, heavy cleaning textile, which mostly consists of machine-washable material and on the top of which there are tension pockets into which the tensioning frame engages.
  • the cleaning textile and the clamping pockets must of course be made very stable and tear-resistant so that they are not torn apart by the clamping forces when clamping onto the clamping frame. Accordingly, the production of floor wiping coverings for such stenter frames is complex and expensive.
  • the invention proposes, starting from the floor cleaning device of the type mentioned, that the cleaning textile is formed in the area below the cleaning head by a machine-washable cleaning plush, the pile threads or loops of which project downward in the direction of the surface to be cleaned.
  • the cleaning plush suitable for wet wiping is covered in its entire surface area by the cleaning head, the horizontal forces occurring during the wiping wiping work are introduced directly into the cleaning head over the entire cleaning surface without loading the fastening tabs.
  • the fastening tabs therefore only have to bear the weight of the cleaning textile and any water absorbed by the cleaning textile when the cleaning head is lifted.
  • the cleaning textile does not have to absorb any tension forces. For this reason, the cleaning textile can be attached to or detached from the cleaning head in a simple manner - just like a light duster.
  • the cleaning textile can be reused in the floor cleaning device according to the invention, so that less waste to be disposed of arises.
  • the cleaning textile has at least two layers below the cleaning head and has a water storage layer above the cleaning plush. This water storage layer can also absorb water. Because the cleaning head presses on the entire cleaning surface from above, this water can be easily pushed out of the water storage layer in order to support the cleaning work. If, on the other hand, the cleaning head is relieved of pressure, the water storage layer picks up dirty water from the floor to the same extent.
  • the water storage layer has particularly good storage and suction properties if it is designed as a needle felt.
  • This needle felt suitably consists of viscose fibers, which are known to be particularly absorbent.
  • the water storage layer can also consist of sponge material.
  • the layers of the cleaning textile are expediently sewn together, as a result of which the cleaning textile is given a certain rigidity overall. This stiffness is useful because it distributes the forces exerted by the cleaning head on the cleaning textile better over the surface.
  • the fastening tabs protruding from the cleaning textile are suitably made of a soft, tear-resistant fleece which is sewn to the needle felt and the cleaning plush.
  • This soft, tear-resistant fleece can be easily pressed into the clamping slots of the cleaning head for attaching the cleaning text to the cleaning head and pulled out again without being damaged.
  • the cleaning plush itself can consist, for example, of cotton and / or viscose fibers. These fibers are particularly absorbent.

  • the fastening tabs 4, which are made of a particularly tear-resistant but soft polyester fleece, are sewn in between the cleaning plush 6 and the water storage layer 8 and project beyond the underside of the cleaning head 1 to the sides. As can be seen from the drawing, they are folded up for the purpose of fastening the cleaning textile 5 to the cleaning head 1 up to the top of the cleaning head 1 and can be clamped there in the clamping slots 3 located there.
