Definitions
- the present invention relates to a packaging and distribution of a fluid product, in particular a cosmetic product. All is equipped with a dispensing orifice which can be closed for storage of the product and open for distribution.
- the document EP O 739 826 describes a device for closing a container which comprises a distribution channel opening out through a distribution orifice.
- a rotating mobile ring surrounds the distribution channel and is configured so as to transmit, via an intermediate element, a movement of rotation and translation to the channel so as to move it from a position of closure where the dispensing orifice is retracted to a dispensing position where the dispensing opening is clear of the ring. So, to go from the closed position to open position it is necessary to move several rooms in relation to each other, and in particular the dispensing with the dispensing orifice, so that it is relatively difficult to guarantee a good seal.
- the dispensing orifice is not closed in closed position so that the product remaining in the channel risk of drying out between two uses.
- such a device requires to be formed by several pieces in order to be able to move the distribution in translation and in rotation from a rotational movement.
- Document JP 09 124 061 describes a capsule comprising a ring exterior fitted with a window and a distribution duct, arranged at inside the ring, in permanent communication with a container.
- the distribution duct is bent and opens out through a distribution orifice.
- the distribution duct is also deformable which allows it, during the rotation of the ring, to be forced to pass through the window by a cam secured to the ring, so as to clear the dispensing orifice. then of a reverse rotation of the ring, the cam releases the conduit which returns in its initial position. In the closed position, the dispensing orifice comes to bear on an inner wall of the ring so as to ensure leaktight closure of the capsule.
- the product can reach up to the dispensing orifice, so that when the capsule is opened and the duct is pushed through the window, product may spurt out the orifice.
- the sudden conduit it may deteriorate so that it may no longer come to rest on the internal wall of the capsule, which will no longer be closed tightly.
- the capsule is first positioned by relative to the nozzle so as to at least partially clear the orifice of distribution so that when the product arrives at the orifice, the latter is already open.
- the product can therefore directly exit without being slowed down by the presence of a closing valve and air can then enter the container through the opening without any obstacle.
- a tip relatively small, we limit the length of the passage connecting the orifice of distribution inside the container so as to facilitate the return of air to inside the container.
- a flexible membrane When a flexible membrane is used, it can for example be made of an elastically deformable material, in particular an elastomer.
- the material elastomer is for example chosen from the group of elastomers of propylene / ethylene copolymers; polyether blockamides; polyvinyls; terpolymers of ethylene, propylene and a diene (EPDM); of the styrene-butadiene block polymers (SBS); styrene-ethylene-butadiene polymers sequenced (SEBS-SIS); polyurethanes thermoplastics; mixtures of polypropylene with one of the elastomers following: block styrene-ethylene-butadiene polymers (SEBS-SIS); terpolymers of ethylene, propylene and a diene (EPDM); polymers of block styrene-butadiene (SBS). Thanks to the elasticity of the material forming the diaphragm
- the membrane can also be made in a thin layer polyolefin which allows its flexibility.
- the membrane is for example obtained from molding from a single piece with the capsule, in particular by bi-injection.
- the membrane has for example the shape of a pellet or even of a membrane annular.
- the membrane can also be a insert attached to the capsule, in particular by gluing, clamping, welding or riveting.
- the slit can be entirely delimited by the membrane, and obtained directly during the molding of the membrane or else be obtained by drilling of said membrane. Alternatively, it can be partially delimited by the membrane and partly through the capsule.
- the slot is delimited by substantially contiguous edges in closed position. So, as soon as the tip comes into contact with the membrane and deforms it, the slit opens immediately.
- the capsule can be movable in translation relative to the end piece.
- the capsule can be movable in rotation relative to the end piece.
- the assembly comprises at least two nozzles each provided with a dispensing orifice of different section. We thus obtains a distribution set in which the product can be distributed at at least two different bit rates.
- the end piece bears on a inner surface of the capsule such that said surface closes the dispensing orifice tightly to the product. So the product that remains in the nozzle after use does not dry and does not risk blocking the orifice distribution over time.
- the capsule comprises a sealing member provided to, in the closed position, interrupt the communication between the distribution and the interior of the container. This avoids any untimely exit from product in the closed position.
- the container ends in a neck open on which the dispensing head is mounted, in particular by screwing or snap.
- the container ends with an open neck in which is formed the tip.
- the container is for example a tube or a bottle which comprises a wall deformable.
- the container can be formed by a non-wall deformable, the assembly then being fitted with a pump or any other member of distribution.
- the invention is particularly useful for packaging and distribution a cosmetic product, in particular a care product, or a product capillary.
- FIG. 1 to 4B a first embodiment of a packaging and distribution unit which comprises a container 20 in the form of a tube surmounted by a dispensing head 10 which can be closed by a closure cap 30.
- the tube 20 contains a fluid product, by creamy or pasty example, intended to be applied to a surface to be treated. he it is for example a sunscreen.
- the tube 20 comprises a body 21 of axis X, substantially cylindrical in its upper portion and cross section substantially oval.
- the part upper part of the body 21 is connected to a shoulder 22, which shoulder is surmounted by a neck 23.
- the tube 20 is closed by a bottom rectilinear 27, along a closing line obtained by pinching and heat sealing of the lower end of the body 21.
- the tube 20 is flexible, that is to say compressible in the region of the body 21, while the shoulder and the neck are substantially rigid, due to a thickness more material compared to the thickness of the material forming the body 21.
- the difference in rigidity between the body and the neck (or shoulder) may result, also, from the choice of the nature of the materials, when a complex tube made of two different materials.
- the tube is made made of polyethylene or other similar thermoplastic material so that form a deformable wall which can return to its initial position when release.
- it can be made of aluminum or tin. In in the latter case, the bottom is obtained by folding the lower end of the body.
- the body 21, if necessary, can be produced by a multilayer structure, for example, plastic / metal / plastic.
- the neck 23 of the tube is crossed by a central distribution channel 25 of axis X, in communication with the inside of the tube, and which opens in its part upper by an opening 26.
- the dispensing head 10 is formed by a tip 40 produced in the wall of the neck 23, along an axis perpendicular to the axis X, and extends beyond the wall of the neck towards the outside.
- the end piece 40 is crossed by a conduit 41, one end 43 of which opens into the central channel 25 of the neck and the second end of which opens through a distribution orifice 42 towards outside.
- the neck 23 is further provided with a snap bead 24 allowing the closure cap 30 to be fixed.
- the closure cap 30 is mounted on the tube so as to be movable in rotation about the X axis.
- the capsule 30 is formed by an outer wall comprising a side wall 31 of substantially oval cross section which is not entirely symmetrical, as we will see in more detail detailed later.
- the cross section of the capsule decreases gradually from its lower end which is open, until its upper end which is closed by a transverse wall 32.
- the capsule is for example made of polyethylene or another material similar thermoplastic.
- a window 39 is formed in the side wall 31 of the capsule 30 and is delimited by an edge of the capsule which extends along a plane P parallel to the largest axis of the oval cross section.
- the capsule is not entirely symmetrical.
- the portion of the wall 31 comprising the window is substantially more planar than the portion of the wall diametrically opposite which is convex outward, that is to say that the plane in which the window extends is closer to the X axis than the portion of the wall 31 diametrically opposite to said window.
- Window 39 is closed by a portion 51 of an elastomer membrane 50, for example made of SEBS.
- the membrane 50 is of annular shape and surrounds the rest of the wall lateral 31 at the height of the window.
- the membrane is for example welded on the side wall 31.
- the portion 51 of the membrane thus extends according to the plane P parallel to the major axis of the oval section.
- Portion 51 of the membrane comprises a slot 52 delimited by two edges 52a and 52b. In rest position, i.e. when the membrane is not stressed, both edges 52a and 52b are joined.
- the slot 52 is arranged at the same axial height along the axis X as the end piece 40.
- Two hooking lugs 33 extend inside the capsule 30 parallel to the axis X from the transverse wall 32 to a free edge.
- the two legs are provided with a cord 35 intended to hang on the snap bead 24 of the neck in order to maintain the capsule 30 in position on the tube 20.
- Each tab 33 is formed by a concave wall disposed at proximity to each end of the longest axis of the oval section of the capsule, the two legs having their concave face facing one another.
- the tabs are configured and arranged so that the end of the tip 40 comes into tight contact with the concave portion of a tab in the position of closing of the dispensing device.
- a sealing skirt 34 is also provided inside the capsule 30 to be inserted into the opening 26 of the neck 23 of the tube 20 and come into contact waterproof with the inner surface of the neck.
- the sealing skirt 34 is a skirt cylindrical of revolution which extends parallel to the X axis from the wall transverse 32 to a free edge.
- the sealing skirt also has a length, along the axis X, sufficient to close the end 43 of the conduit 41 crossing the nozzle.
- An opening 36 is formed on a small portion angle of the sealing skirt, facing the slot 52. In position opening of the distribution assembly, the opening 36 is opposite the end 43 of the conduit 41 passing through the end piece 40 so as to allow the communication of the conduit 41 with the interior of the tube, via the passage 25 crossing the pass.
- FIGS. 3A and 3B In the closed position, shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, it can be seen that one hooking lugs 33 comes into watertight support on the dispensing orifice 42.
- the tab 33 therefore also acts as a closure means and prevents the product which can remain in the nozzle after use to dry.
- the sealing skirt 34 seals the end 42 of the duct crossing the nozzle, so as to interrupt the communication between the interior of the container and the dispensing orifice, thus avoiding any untimely exit from the product.
- the user rotates the capsule 30 90 ° around from the X axis so as to clear the distribution orifice 42, as we have shown in Figures 4A and 4B.
- the end piece 40 extends beyond the plane P, due to its non-symmetrical shape, by spreading the edges 52a and 52b of the slot 52.
- the dispensing orifice 42 thus opens out from the capsule.
- Slot being formed in an elastomeric material, the edges 52a and 52b move apart easily from each other due to the elasticity of the material, so that can easily switch from the closed position to the dispensing position.
- the opening 36 formed in the sealing skirt is in look at the end 43 of the conduit passing through the end piece so that the orifice distribution is in communication with the product contained in the tube via the conduit 41 and channel 25.
- the user can then compress the walls of the tube in order to reduce the internal volume thereof and create an overpressure at inside the tube pushing the product towards the dispensing orifice. when releases the walls of the tube, the air is sucked inside of it, via the orifice distribution 42 and conduit 41. The walls of the tube then resume their shape initial.
- FIGS. 5A and 5B show a second embodiment of a packaging and distribution unit according to the invention which differs from the first example which has just been described in that it is this time provided with two distribution tips 140 and 140 ', the capsule 130 being provided with a single window 139, formed in a plane P, closed by a membrane 150.
- the neck 123 of the bottle 120 comprises two projecting tips 140 and 140 'diametrically opposite on the neck.
- Each end piece 140, 140 ' is crossed by a conduit 141, 141 'which opens at the end of the nozzle by a dispensing orifice 142, 142 '.
- the two conduits 141 and 141 'and the two orifices 142 and 142 ′ have sections of different sizes so as to deliver the produced at two different flow rates.
- the opening 136 provided in the sealing skirt 134 is positioned opposite the end 143 of the conduit so that the dispensing orifice 142 communicates with the product inside the tube.
- the end 143 ′ of the conduit 141 ′ passing through the second end piece 140 ′ is closed by the sealing skirt 134 so that the product coming from the tube cannot access this conduit 141 '.
- the user rotates the capsule 130 by 180 °, around the X axis, so as to position the second nozzle 140 'through the slot 150 and to position the opening 136 of the sealing skirt opposite the end 143 ′ of the duct 141.
- Figures 6 to 6B show a third embodiment of a packaging and distribution unit according to the invention which differs from the first example described in accordance with FIGS. 1 to 4B by its capsule closing.
