Definitions
- Lockable dispensing device for dispensing a liquid, viscous or pasty medium contained in a container
- the present invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1, i.e. a closable dispensing device for dispensing a liquid, viscous or pasty medium contained in a container, with a first opening for dispensing the medium located in the container, a second opening for ventilating and / or venting the container, and a closure device the actuation of which a connection between the first opening and the container and between the second opening and the container can be established and interrupted.
- a device i.e. a closable dispensing device for dispensing a liquid, viscous or pasty medium contained in a container, with a first opening for dispensing the medium located in the container, a second opening for ventilating and / or venting the container, and a closure device the actuation of which a connection between the first opening and the container and between the second opening and the container can be established and interrupted.
- Such dispensing devices can be used, for example, in drinking bottles used by children or by cyclists.
- a dispenser suitable for drinking bottles is described in DE 199 37 754 AI.
- the dispensing device described in the cited document is a device that can be placed on a drinking bottle and consists of a part that is stationary in the state of the drinking bottle and a nipple that can be moved relative to it, more precisely pushed into it and pulled out of it.
- a channel runs through the nipple, via which the drinking bottle is connected to a drinking opening provided at the upper end of the nipple. This channel is closed when the nipple is pushed into the fixed part (pushed onto a stopper closing the channel) and opened when it is pulled out.
- the said dispensing device also contains measures to ensure that the channel is completely closed in the closed position of the nipple, and that the nipple cannot leave the closed position independently, but on the other hand can be moved into and out of the closed position with little effort.
- These arrangements consist of locking elements provided on the nipple, which engage in the locking position in the associated locking elements of the fixed part, the locking elements provided on the fixed part of the dispensing device being arranged on elastically movable elements accessible from outside the dispensing device.
- the dispenser can be closed tightly and cannot open by itself is an important prerequisite for the drinking bottle also being able to be used for carbonated drinks.
- the excess pressure created by the carbonic acid in the drinking bottle can open the dispensing device automatically, which leads to the leakage of the beverage in the drinking bottle and to an outflow of gases (a reduction in the carbonic acid content of the Beverages). No further explanation is required that both are undesirable.
- a dispensing device which, as a closure device, by its actuation a connection between the opening for dispensing the medium contained in the container and the container can be established and interrupted, is formed by a slide which extends transversely to the connection between the opening and the container is slidable.
- a slide With such a slide, it is possible with less effort to tightly close the connection between the opening and the container; Under no circumstances can the slide be brought into the open position by an overpressure or underpressure in the container. However, if there is overpressure or underpressure in the container, considerable force is required to operate the slide.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object of providing a dispensing device which, on the one hand, closes particularly tightly and, on the other hand, is easy and simple to operate even when there is overpressure or underpressure in the container.
- the dispensing device is characterized in that the closure device is designed such that when it is actuated, which must be carried out to establish a connection between the first opening and the container, it first establishes a connection between the second opening and the container , and only then establishes the connection between the first opening and the container.

- the first dispensing device shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 consists of a pouring part 2 (in the state of the dispensing device fastened to the neck 1 of the bottle), a slider 3 inserted through the pouring part 2 and movable relative to the pouring part 2, and a cap 4 placed on one end of the slide 3.
- the pouring part 2 comprises a fastening section 21 for fastening the pouring part 2 to the neck 1, and a pouring spout 22 serving in the example considered for dispensing the liquid contained in the bottle.
- the shape and size of the pouring spout 22 are chosen such that a person can put the spout in his mouth and drink from it; In the example considered, the spout 22 is frustoconical. It should be pointed out at this point that the spout 22 can also have any other shape; the size and shape of the spout are preferably made dependent on the intended use of the dispenser. In the open state shown in FIG.
- the dispensing device is passed through by a channel consisting of three channel parts 23, 24 and 31, which connects the inside of the bottle to an outlet opening 25 provided at the upper end of the spout 22; In the opened state of the dispensing device shown in FIG. 3, the liquid contained in the bottle reaches this outlet opening 25 via this channel.
- the channel part 23 is a channel part provided in the spout part 2 (in the spout 22 of the same) and extends from the top of an opening receiving the slide 3 to the outlet opening 25,
- the channel part 24 is also provided in the pouring part 2, extending from the underside of the slide 3 receiving opening to the neck 1, and
- the channel part 31 is part of the slide 3rd
- the section 26 of the pouring part 22, through which the channel part 24 passes, has the peculiarity that it is so thin that it is pressed elastically upwards against the slide 3 by the overpressure which arises during normal use of the bottle.
- the slide 3 serves as a closure device. It can be used to bring the dispensing device from the closed state into the open state and vice versa.
- the slider 3 is an elongated element with an oval cross section, and is inserted into an opening of the pouring part 2 which extends above the neck 1 and is displaceable in the longitudinal direction relative to the pouring part 2.

- the dispensing device described also has two further special features.
- the channel leading from the flat to the outlet opening 25 begins at a point which is eccentric in the top view of the dispensing device and also outside the center of the bottle neck. It can thereby be achieved that in the closed state of the dispensing device shown in FIG. 1, the slide 3 does not protrude laterally beyond the bottle neck 1. This would not be possible if the channel leading to the outlet opening 25, more precisely the channel part 24 of the same and the bottle neck 1 were arranged coaxially.
- the second of the special features mentioned is that the channel leading to the outlet opening 25 does not run straight up, but has an oblique course. It can thereby be achieved that the dispensing device, despite its asymmetrical structure, has a center of gravity. This proves to be advantageous because the dispensing device can thereby be quickly brought into a position by shaking, in which it can be gripped by a gripper and placed on the bottle neck.
- FIG. 1 Another dispensing device, which also has these and the advantages mentioned above, is shown in FIG.
- the second delivery device shown in FIG. 5 consists of a support part 5 (in the state of the delivery device fastened to the neck 1), a pouring part 6 which can be connected to the support part, and a pin 7 fastened to the pouring part 6 , and a sealing washer 8 held by pin 7.
- the carrier part 5 has the shape of a stepped hollow cylinder with a lower part 51 with a large diameter and an upper part 52 with a smaller diameter.
- An internal thread is provided on the lower part 51, through which the carrier part 5 on the neck 1 of the bottle can be screwed on.
- An external thread is provided on the upper part 52, onto which the pouring part 6 can be screwed.
- a pressure compensation opening 53 is provided, via which, as will be described in more detail later, an overpressure or underpressure prevailing in the bottle can be reduced.
- the pouring part 6 consists of an essentially cup-shaped body 61 with an edge 62 which extends from the upper end and initially extends outwards and then essentially parallel to the body 61 downwards.
- the edge 62 has an internal thread, which on the
- External thread of the upper part 52 of the carrier part 5 can be screwed on.
- the body 61 is open at the top; its upper end forms a spout 63 for dispensing the liquid contained in the bottle.
- the shape and the size of the spout 63 are chosen in the example considered so that a person pour 63 into your mouth and drink from it.
- the spout 63 can in principle have any shape and size; the shape and size of the spout 63 are preferably made dependent on the intended use of the dispenser.
- the body 61 is closed at the bottom by a bottom 64.
- An opening is preferably provided in the middle of the bottom 64, through which the pin 7 can be pushed.
- the body 61 has in the lower region an indentation 65 which runs around it over its full circumference and is provided with openings 66
- the sealing disk 7 is a circular disk which, in the closed state of the dispensing device, is pressed against the upper part 52 of the carrier part 5 from below and closes the bottle in a liquid-tight and gas-tight manner.
- the sealing disk 7 is a circular disk which, in the closed state of the dispensing device, is pressed against the upper part 52 of the carrier part 5 from below and closes the bottle in a liquid-tight and gas-tight manner.
- the sealing disk 7 is a circular disk which, in the closed state of the dispensing device, is pressed against the upper part 52 of the carrier part 5 from below and closes the bottle in a liquid-tight and gas-tight manner.
- Sealing disc is provided an opening through which the pin 7 can be pushed.
- the pin 7 has different diameters along its length. It has the largest diameter at its lower end. There it has a head whose diameter is larger than the diameter of the opening provided in the sealing disk 8. Subsequently, it has a diameter, hereinafter referred to as the average diameter, which corresponds approximately to the diameter of the opening provided in the sealing disk 8, or is somewhat smaller.
- the area in which the pin 7 has the average diameter extends in the assembled state of the dispensing device from the head of the pin 7 to the point at which the pin reaches the bottom 64 of the body 61; the end of the pin section having the average diameter beats when the dispenser is assembled down to the bottom 64.
- the pin again has a smaller diameter, hereinafter referred to as the smallest diameter, this smallest diameter corresponding approximately to the diameter of the opening provided in the bottom 64 of the body 61.
- the smallest diameter, i.e. the upper part of the pin 7 has one or more slots running in the longitudinal direction of the pin 7 from above. Those separated from each other by the at least one slot
- Pin parts are elastically movable and have at their free ends projecting latching hooks which, when the pin 7 is inserted through the opening of the bottom 64 of the body 61, engage behind the opening and thereby pull the pin 7 out of the bottom 64 of the body 61 prevent the intended opening.
- the sealing disk 8 is fastened to the body 61 by the pin 7.
- the pin 7 is inserted from below through the sealing disk 8, and then - likewise from below - through the bottom 64 of the body 61.
- the dispensing device is opened and closed by rotating the pouring part 6, more precisely by screwing the pouring part 6 onto the
- the dispensing device is closed when the spout part 6 is only slightly screwed onto the carrier part 5 and is open when the spout part 6 is screwed far onto the carrier part 5.

- the pouring part 6 When the pouring part 6 is screwed further onto the carrier part 5, the pouring part 6 moves further downward. Finally, the bottom 64 of the pouring part 6 passes the step between the lower part 51 and the upper part 52 of the support part 5. When this has been done, liquid can get into the recess 65 from the inside of the bottle, and from there via the openings 66 provided in the recess 65 to the spout 63. The dispenser is open from then on.

Then the pressure equalization opening 53 is closed in the open state of the dispensing device by the bulge-free areas of the body 61.
- the dispensing device shown in FIG. 5 thus has essentially the same advantages as the dispensing device shown in FIGS. 1 to 4.
- Another not yet mentioned advantage of the dispensing devices described is that the pressure equalization was implemented in a very simple manner. In particular, the pressure equalization and the dispensing of the liquid contained in the bottle take place through one and the same opening of the bottle. As a result, the dispensing devices described can be used with any conventional bottles and other containers.
- the structure of the respective dispensing device can be used to determine when the pressure equalization should begin and when the pressure equalization should end.
