Description

The present invention relates to an electrical system comprising, of a on the other hand, electrical equipment to project over a support wall along of a duct for conducting electrical conductors, and, secondly, a electrical connector for the electrical connection of at least one conductor electric to electrical equipment

Generally, in such an electrical system, said electrical equipment includes a functional front part and a rear part to be attached to the said wall, comprising a lateral opening for connecting said part back to the interior space of the base of said chute.

Such a system of electrical equipment is generally used in the case of a home renovation.

Indeed, in this case it is coupled to different types of chutes (molding or baseboard) which convey cables or electrical conductors, which avoids to make, in the walls, bleeds for tubes for electrical conductors and recess boxes for electrical equipment.

However, in the electrical systems of the aforementioned type already known, it is common as some of the electrical connection terminals of the mechanism of electrical equipment are positioned on the top of the mechanism, which requires the installer to provide a maximum length of electrical conductors to reach such a terminal. This is not always easy when adding such electrical equipment on an already existing circuit.

Here, the awning 116 comes from formation with the parallelepipedic cover, but it can be reported on this one.

The rear part 120 of the electrical equipment 100 comprises a housing rectangular parallelepiped-shaped insulation, broadly similar to that of the front part 110, to constitute with it an assembly.

Cette partie arrière 120 est destinée à être fixée sur la paroi support le long du socle 11 de la goulotte 10.This rear portion 120 is intended to be fixed on the support wall on along the base 11 of the chute 10.

For this purpose, the bottom 121 of the insulating housing comprises, at its four corners, openings 124 of oblong shape to be traversed by fasteners to be anchored in the support wall.

The bottom 121 of the insulating housing of the rear part 120 of the apparatus electrical 100 is bordered on three sides by a peripheral wall 122. The fourth side, here a longitudinal side of the insulating housing, is open so that this rear portion 120 has a lateral opening 123 for the connecting it to the interior space of the base 11 of said chute 10.

The insulating housing of the rear part 120 of the electrical equipment 100 contains two identical and connected 125 socket outlets electrically with each other by means of electric bars, called "shunts", no visible in the figures.

The socket mechanisms 125 are well known in themselves, they will not be described in detail.

Essentially, they each contain connection terminals 125C, a phase terminal and a neutral terminal, in which are intended to plug the pins of a socket plug corresponding.

They also each include a connection pin to the earth 125A, and between the two access openings to the connection terminals Electrical phase and neutral, an opening 125B for fixing the part before 110 functional of electrical equipment 100 via a through screw the central opening 114 provided in the bottom of each well 111.

The insulating housing of the rear part 120 of the electrical equipment 100 houses electrical connection blades 126A, 126B, 126C, which are from the socket mechanisms 125, and which extend along an axis Y perpendicular to the longitudinal axis X of the chute 10 towards said lateral opening 123.

They come from one of the two plug-in mechanisms 125. The third 126C electrical connection metal blade is a live blade and is from the other socket mechanism 125.

The electrical system shown in the figures further comprises a electrical connector 200 for the electrical connection of at least one electrical conductor 1, 2, 3 to the socket mechanisms 125 of the electrical equipment 100.

Ici, le connecteur électrique 200 permet le raccordement des trois lames métalliques de connexion électrique 126A, 126B, 126C issues des mécanismes de prise de courant 125 à trois conducteurs électriques 1, 2, 3 circulant dans le socle 11 de la goulotte 10.Here, the electrical connector 200 allows the connection of the three blades 126A, 126B, 126C electrical connection socket outlet 125 with three electrical conductors 1, 2, 3 flowing in the base 11 of the chute 10.

This electrical connector 200, more particularly represented on the Figures 2 to 4, includes an insulating cassette 210, 220 to report in said lateral opening 123 of the rear part 120 of the electrical equipment 100 (see Figure 5), above the base 11 of the chute 10.

For this purpose, it is provided on the bottom 121 of the insulating housing of the party rear 120 of the electrical equipment 100, a base 127 whose surface upper 127A receives the insulating cassette 210, 220 so that it is located positioned in said side opening 123, just above the returns 14 lateral wings 12, 13 of the base 11 of the chute 10.

The electrical connection blades 126A, 126B, 126C, from the socket mechanisms 125 housed in the insulating housing of the rear part 120 of the electrical equipment 100, extend, according to the direction Y, just above the upper surface 127A of the base 127 provided on the bottom 121 of the insulating housing.

Advantageously, and as shown more particularly in FIG. 6, each connecting blade 240, housed in said insulating cassette 210, 220, is arranged so that the pair of metal insulation contacts 241 and said metal contact 242 extend in two directions Z, Y perpendicular.

Here, each connection blade 240 includes a pair of contacts 242 forming an elongated clamp in the Y direction, direction according to which extend the metal blades of electrical connection of the electrical equipment 100, this clamp being intended to be plugged into a said metal electrical connection blades 126A, 126B, 126C of said electrical equipment 100.

Here, for each connecting blade 240 housed in said cassette insulation 210, 220, the pair of insulation displacement metal contacts 241 is laterally offset from the pair of metal contacts 242 forming the clamp.

Of course, according to a variant not shown, it could be provided that the pair of insulation displacement metal contacts and the pair of contacts metal of each connecting blade are aligned.

In addition, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the insulating cassette comprises a base 210 and a cover 220 hinged to this base.

According to the preferred embodiment shown in the figures, the base 210 and cover 220 are formed of a single piece of plastics material molded and are connected to each other by flexible parts forming hinges articulation 230.

The base 210 of the insulating cassette projects, on its internal face, clips 212 arranged in three rows. These clips 212 form means positioning and retaining the electrical conductors 1, 2, 3 for connected via the connecting blades 240 and to the metal blades of electrical connection 126A, 126B, 126C from the pickup mechanisms current 125 of the electrical equipment 100.

These positioning and retaining means comprise walls 222A, 222B protruding from the inner face of the cover 220 and defining between they housing for, on the one hand, the pairs of metal contacts 241, and, on the other hand, the metallic contacts 242 in the form of clamping said connecting blades 240.

Of course, these arrangements, forming positioning means and of restraint, come from training respectively with the base 210 and the cover 220 of the insulating cassette.

As shown more particularly in Figure 2, the blades of connection 240 and the electrical conductors 1, 2, 3 are positioned and retained respectively on the cover 220 and the base 210 so that they present then relative positions such as mounting the lid 220 on the base 210 of the insulating cassette causes the positioning of the pairs of contacts metal insulation 241 on said electrical conductors 1, 2, 3.

Comme le montrent plus particulièrement les figures 3 et 4, avantageusement, le couvercle 220 de la cassette isolante comporte, sur sa face externe, des zones de pression 224 situées au droit des paires de contacts métalliques autodénudants 241 positionnées sur la face interne dudit couvercle 220.As shown more particularly in FIGS. 3 and 4, advantageously, the lid 220 of the insulating cassette has on its face external, pressure zones 224 located at the right of the pairs of contacts 241 self-cutting metal positioned on the inner face of said lid 220.

These pressure zones 224 are here hatched or notched areas indicating to the installer, after closing the lid 220 on the base 210 of the insulating cassette, the place where he must apply pressure using a tool, such a clamp to cause the plugging of said pairs of metal contacts self-insulation 241 positioned on said electrical conductors 1, 2, 3.

The lid 220 is relatively flexible so as to be deformable elastically when pinching the pressure zones 224.

Furthermore, the base 210 of the insulating cassette carries, near a from its edges, two snapping teeth 211 intended to snap together in openings 221 provided in correspondence on the lid 220. Thus, the lid 220 is locked by snapping on the base 210 of the insulating cassette.

On the lateral edges of the base 210 and the cover 220 of the cassette insulation, there are provided notches 223 which, by their complementary form when closing the lid 220 on the base 210, form openings passage of the electrical conductors 1, 2, 3 (see Figure 3).

As shown more particularly in Figure 4, at the back of the insulating cassette 216A, 216B, 216C openings are provided each at the input of a metal contact clamp 242 of a blade of 240 connection housed in the insulating cassette.

Each metal electrical connection blade 126A, 126B, 126C the electrical equipment 100 is intended to engage through one of these openings 216A, 216B, 216C for connection to a connection blade 240 of the electrical connector 200, this connection blade 240 being itself connected to an electrical conductor 1, 2, 3 passing through the cassette insulating.

These openings 216A, 216B, 216C, provided on the back of the cassette insulation are formed either entirely in a rim of the base 210 or formed by complementary form between the base 210 and the cover 220.

Here, these guiding and centering means comprise, on two sides opposite sides of the insulating cassette, two ribs 213, and at the edges opposite sides of the upper surface 127A of the base 127 carried by the bottom of the insulating housing of the rear part 120 of the electrical equipment 100, two 127B parallel grooves to accommodate the two ribs 213 of the an insulating cassette positioned on the upper surface 127A of said base 127.

In addition, these guiding and centering means comprise, according to the preferred embodiment shown, two centering tabs 128 in insulating material extending from the housings of the gripping mechanisms current 125 of the electrical equipment 100 in the direction Y, in the direction of said lateral opening 123.

Here, these locking means are latching means. These said detent means comprise a detent tooth 129 provided in projection on the upper surface 127A of the base 127 of the electrical equipment 100 and a notch (not shown) provided in correspondence on the face external of the base 210 of said insulating cassette.

Advantageously, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, the insulating housing of the rear part 120 of the electrical equipment 100 comprises, on its two parallel lateral sides, adapters 130 extending beyond the opening 123 and able to be positioned against a lateral wing 13 of the base 11 of the chute 10 to adapt said electrical equipment 100 to two widths different trunking base, a small width as shown on the Figure 1, and a larger width not shown.

For the adaptation of the electrical equipment 100 represented to a more large chute width, simply detach the adapters 130 from the wall device 122 of the insulating housing by cutting breakable parts.

Thus, with the same insulating housing and the same part before 110 functional, we can adapt the electrical equipment 100 to two widths different chute.

Thanks to the electrical system shown in the figures, the installer can easily connect the appliance mechanism (s) electrically electrical equipment 100 to electrical conductors circulating in a chute base.

First, it positions, on the inner face of the base 210 of the insulating cassette constituting the electrical connector 200, the conductors 1, 2, 3 by wedging them between clips 212.

Then, it closes on the base 210 the cover 220 on its face internal connection blades 240, locking it by snapping into the openings 221 of said base 210.

In this position, the pairs of metal contacts self-removing 241 connecting blades 240 are positioned on the conductors electric 1, 2, 3.

Then, exerting pressure, by means of forceps for example, on the pressure zones 224, here shaded areas, it causes the insertion of the pairs of 241 self-marking metal contacts on conductors 1, 2, 3 so as to electrically connect them to the blades connection 240.

The installer can then slide the insulating cassette into the grooves 127B bordering the upper surface 127A of the base 127 of the apparatus electrical 100 so as to engage the electrical connection blades 126A, 126B, 126C of the electrical equipment 100 through the openings 216A, 216B, 216C of the electrical connector 200 and to plug them into the clamps 242 connecting blades 240 of said electrical connector 200. During this action, the electrical connector 200 is guided on the base 127 by sliding ribs 213 in the grooves 127B.

At the end of the stroke, the centering tabs 128, engaging in the corresponding openings 218 provided on the back of the electrical connector, cause a centering of the latter with respect to the electrical equipment.

Plugging in the 126A electrical connection blades, 126B, 126C in the clamps 242 of the connecting blades 240 of the connector electrical 200 is then performed correctly.

Also at the end of the stroke, the ratchet tooth 129 of electrical equipment 100 snaps into the corresponding notch of the insulating cassette so as to lock the electrical connector 200 on electrical equipment 100. This snapping causes a sound signal that assures the installer that locking is done.

In this position, as shown in Figure 5, the drivers 1, 2, 3 flowing in the base 11 of the chute 10 are very few deviated from their original path.

It only remains for the installer to close the rear part 120 of the electrical equipment 100 with the functional front part 110 which covers the electrical connector 200 and the corresponding part of the base 11 of the chute 10.

The electrical connection of such an electrical system to the drivers Electrical network is extremely simple, fast and requires little tool.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiment described and shown, but the skilled person will be able to make any variant in keeping with his spirit.

In particular, the electrical equipment of the electrical system represented could be for example a simple socket or any other type electrical equipment.

In addition, provision may be made according to an alternative embodiment of the invention shown in FIG. 8, that the electrical connector 200 'comprises a insulating cassette 210 ', 220' to be reported also in a side opening the rear part of an electrical equipment, above the base of the chute. This insulating cassette 210 ', 220' also houses three blades of connection 240 which each include a pair of metal contacts self-bending 241 for connecting an electrical conductor 1, 2, 3 flowing in the base of the chute and at least one metal contact 242 intended to engage with one of the metal blades of electrical connection of the electrical equipment concerned.

Like the connecting blades 240 shown in FIG. 6, those shown in Figure 8 are arranged so that the pair of insulation displacement metal contacts 241 and metal contact 242 extend in two perpendicular directions.

Each connection blade 240 also includes a pair of metal contacts 242 forming an elongated clamp according to the direction according to which extend the metal blades of electrical connection of the electrical equipment concerned, this clamp being intended to be plugged into one of said metal blades for electrical connection of said apparatus electric.

As shown in FIG. 8, according to this variant embodiment, the insulating cassette comprises a base 210 'and a cover 220' articulated on this base via a flexible tab 225 'forming a hinge hinge.

The base 210 'and the cover 220' are formed in one piece from molded plastic material and are connected to each other by said flexible tongue 225 '.

Here, the base 210 'of the insulating cassette has, on its internal face, a plurality of separate housings 211 ', 212', 213 'arranged in staggered rows, each housing 211 ', 212', 213 'accommodating an electrical conductor 1, 3, 2 of such way that each of these electrical conductors is retained in the housing corresponding of the base 210 '. The lid 220 'has a plurality of separate parts 221 ', 222', 223 'intended to close each of said dwellings 211 ', 212', 213 'separate from the base 210'. Each part 221 ', 222', 223 'of cover 220 'carries on its internal face, positioning means and retaining a connecting blade 240. The parts 221 ', 222', 223 'distinct from the cover 220 'are interconnected by tongues 224' flexible so that the closure of each housing of the base 210 'by each part of the lid 220 'is done independently of the closure of others housing of said base.

In addition, it will be noted that each of the parts 221 ', 222', 223 ' separate from the cover 220 'has a tooth 226' hooking on a tooth complementary 216 'provided on the inner face of the base 210'.

Advantageously, this variant of the electrical connector according to the invention allows the installer to avoid, when connecting a pair of insulation displacement metal contacts 241 of a connection blade 240 on a electrical conductor 1, 2, 3 housed in one of the housings 211 ', 212', 213 'of the base 210 ', to cause the disconnection of the other pairs of contacts 241 of the other electrical conductors 1, 2, 3. fact, according to this variant, each electrical connection is individualized within of the insulating cassette 210 ', 220' itself.
