Definitions
- the invention relates to a fastener for roofing membranes according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention is an arrangement and a method directed to the attachment of a roofing membrane (claims 6 and 10).
- roofing membranes holding plates made of metal or plastic which are formed over the entire surface or with star-shaped ribs and peripheral edge and an anchoring element.
- the anchoring element may be in one piece be with or separately from the holding plate, it may, for example.
- a Act screw and / or an expansion dowel To attach a roofing membrane is the holding plate placed on the roofing sheet and the anchoring element through the roofing pushed through and anchored in a subsoil.
- This type of attachment A roofing membrane has several disadvantages: The penetration of the roofing membrane with the Anchoring element carries the risk of leakage.
- the roofing membrane Destroyed and may be caused by wind suction and / or thermal shrinkage and Stretching of the roofing membrane due to sun and weather influence at the penetration point starting to tear.
- Particularly negative for the strength of the roofing membrane affects if the roofing membrane has a reinforcing fabric, the piercing the anchoring element is destroyed selectively.
- settlement phenomena Over time, a contact pressure of the holding plate on the roofing membrane subside, causing the roofing membrane no longer by friction between the retaining plate and the roofing membrane, but only via a bearing pressure at the fürdringungsstelle is fixed. A tearing of the roofing membrane at the penetration point is then almost inevitable.
- the invention is based on the object, a fastening element for roofing membranes to propose that improves the durability of the attachment of the roofing membrane is.
- the Holding plate of the fastener according to the invention has a grid on or is designed as a grid. This allows embedding of the retaining plate in the roofing membrane by welding. This results in an intimate, positive and / or cohesive Connection of the roofing membrane with the retaining plate. Relative movements between the roofing membrane and the holding plate, leading to a release of the roofing membrane from the holding plate lead would be avoided. The connection of the roofing membrane with the retaining plate and thus the attachment of the roofing membrane is permanent. Also, a tearing of the roofing membrane at the point of penetration of the anchoring element through the Prevention of relative movement between the roofing membrane and the retaining plate or Anchoring element avoided.
- the two roofing membranes can be laid welded together or with the holding plate or stick together, with by the lattice of the holding plate a material connection between the two roofing membranes also in the Area of the holding plate is given, which is a peeling of the upper roofing membrane avoids.
- Dynamic wind suction tests have shown that when fixing a roofing membrane with fastening elements according to the invention, the roofing membrane from the Fixing element releases. The failure occurs by loosening the fastener from the ground and thus at significantly higher load on the roofing membrane. The Roof membrane remains undamaged.
- the retaining plate on a metal grid has the advantage that it holds heat longer and conducts better than, for example, plastic and more easily welded to the roofing membrane.
- the connection of the holding plate with The roofing membrane is more intimate and solid.
- An embodiment of the invention provides an elongated grid strip as a holding plate, having a number of anchoring elements.
- the anchoring elements are with Distance from each other in a longitudinal direction of the grid strip evenly or arranged unevenly distributed.
- This embodiment of the invention simplified and improves in particular the attachment of an edge of a roofing membrane, as the edge the roofing membrane can be fastened without interruption over its entire length.
- an embodiment of the invention provides a hollow shaft, in which a pin-shaped fastener, so a screw, a nail or the like., sunk.
- the screw or nail can go straight into one Subsurface, for example, be screwed or hammered in wood.
- an expansion dowel have, which is spread by the screw or the nail.
- the expansion dowel may be separate from or integral with the hollow shaft.
- the anchoring element is thermally insulated to a cold bridge between the ground and the retaining plate to avoid.
- the arrangement with the features of claim 6 provides the use of the Grid strip as a holding plate having fastener for securing a Edge of a roofing membrane in front.
- the grid strip is along the edge of the roofing membrane so laid that it overlaps with a portion of its width the edge of the roofing membrane and with the remaining part of its width projecting beyond the edge of the roofing membrane.
- the fastener is arranged so that the anchoring elements outside the roofing membrane next to its edge. In this way, the roofing membrane is not from penetrated by the anchoring elements, creating both the risk of leakage at the fürdringungsstelle as well as the risk of tearing the roofing membrane the penetration point is eliminated. Furthermore, damage to the roofing membrane and a possibly existing reinforcing fabric of the roofing membrane avoided.
- the second roof sheet For fastening the edges of two roofing membranes, which are used to cover a larger roof area adjacent to each other or one behind the other, see one Embodiment of the invention that the second roof sheet the grid strip of the completely overlaps according to the invention fastener.
- the overlap area are the two roof sheets together and with the grid strip of the fastener cohesively connected by gluing and / or welding.
- the overlap area The two roofing membranes is narrow, as the overlapped roofing membrane only a portion of the width of the grid strip occupies. Since the two roofing membranes in entire overlap area are interconnected, is the risk of Peeling the two roofing membranes from each other reduced.
- roofing sheet For connecting the retaining plate of the fastening element according to the invention with the roofing sheet provides claim 10, form the retaining plate as a metal grid and without Heat heat from the outside and thereby weld with the roofing membrane. It is therefore not as with conventional methods, the roofing membrane with a Gas burner or a hot air device heated, but the holding plate forming Metal grille is heated immediately and heats up the roofing membrane Softening or melting temperature. For heating, an electric current be passed through the metal plate forming the retaining plate, so that the Metal grille heated due to its electrical resistance.
- a preferred embodiment of the method according to the invention provides an inductive or capacitive heating of the holding plate forming metal grid, for example, with a alternating electromagnetic field. Another preferred option is the Heating the metal grid with microwaves.
- inventive fastener 10 has a Holding plate 12 and an anchoring element 14.
- the retaining plate 12 is as a metal grid formed with a center hole not visible in the drawing.
- the holding plate 12 is circular, this shape but not mandatory.

- the Hollow shaft 16 penetrates the roofing sheet 28 and penetrates into the insulating layer 30.
- the Holding plate 12 of which in the sectional view of Figure 2 only individual wires as Points are visible, lies on the roofing membrane 28.
- the screw 20 in a substrate, not shown, on which the insulating layer 30 rests, screwed.
- the screw 20 can be screwed directly.
- the screw 20 is screwed into an expansion dowel, not shown, the previously introduced into a borehole in the underground. This type of anchorage is known per se and should therefore not be explained here.
- the dowel can separately from the hollow shaft 16 or integral part of the hollow shaft 16 of the Anchoring element 14 be.
- the roofing membrane 28 is welded by heating with the retaining plate 12.
- Welding is designed as a metal grid holding plate 12 positive and / or cohesive embedded in the roofing membrane 28.
- the roofing membrane 28 can also be used with the retaining plate 12 are glued. If the hollow shaft 16 is not covered, the Screw 20 after welding of the retaining plate 12 with the roofing membrane 28 in be screwed in the ground.
- roofing membranes 28, 32 laid two layers, d. H. on the roofing membrane 28 is a second roof liner 32 placed and welded or glued to it.
- the roof sheets 28, 32 In the area of Holding plates 12 are the roof sheets 28, 32 by welding or gluing through the the holding plate 12 forming metal mesh with each other and with the retaining plate 12th positively and / or materially connected.
