Abstract

Eine Schnellbefestigung für einen WC-Sitz (1, 2) - insbesondere mit einem Rückbrett - weist mindestens ein an der WC-Schüssel zu befestigendes Ankerelement (8) sowie mindestens einen beweglichen Riegel (3) auf, welcher in eine Verriegelungsposition gebracht werden kann, in welcher dieser eine Verbindung zwischen dem Ankerelement und dem WC-Sitz herstellt. Dadurch kann der WC-Sitz (1, 2) reversibel an der WC-Schüssel befestigt werden, so dass dieser - insbesondere für Reinigungszwecke - leicht von dieser entfernt werden kann. Zum Abnehmen des WC-Sitzes können die Riegel aus der Verriegelungsposition herausbewegt werden, um die Verbindung zwischen dem an der WC-Schüssel befestigten Ankerelement und dem WC-Sitz zu lösen. <IMAGE>

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schnellbefestigung für einen WC-Sitz, insbesondere für einen WC-Sitz mit Rückbrett.
  • WC-Sitze werden üblicherweise schwenkbar an einer WC-Schüssel aus Porzellan gelagert, wobei die zugehörigen Scharniere einseitig fest mit der WC-Schüssel verschraubt sind. Diese fest montierten WC-Sitze haben den Nachteil, dass diese im Bereich der Scharniere nur sehr schwer gereinigt werden können.
  • Vor diesem Hintergrund war es Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, eine Schnellbefestigung für einen WC-Sitz bereitzustellen, mit welcher sich der WC-Sitz in einfacher Weise von der WC-Schüssel entfernen beziehungsweise hieran wieder befestigen lässt.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird durch eine Schnellbefestigung für einen WC-Sitz gelöst, welche mindestens ein an der WC-Schüssel (dauerhaft) zu befestigendes Ankerelement sowie mindestens einen beweglichen Riegel enthält, wobei der Riegel in eine Verriegelungsposition gebracht werden kann, in welcher dieser eine Verbindung zwischen Ankerelement und WC-Sitz herstellt.
  • Die beschriebene Schnellbefestigung ermöglicht es, einen WC-Sitz reversibel an einer WC-Schüssel zu befestigen, so dass dieser insbesondere für Reinigungszwecke leicht hiervon entfernt werden kann. Zum Abnehmen des WC-Sitzes müssen dabei nur die Riegel aus der Verriegelungsposition herausbewegt werden, um die Verbindung zwischen dem an der WC-Schüssel befestigten Ankerelement und dem WC-Sitz zu lösen.
  • Vorzugsweise ist diese Verbindung so ausgestaltet, dass der Riegel in seiner Verriegelungsposition eine in mindestens einer Richtung formschlüssige Verbindung zwischen Ankerelement, Riegel und WC-Sitz herstellt. Formschlüssigkeit "in einer Richtung" bedeutet dabei, dass die Elemente gegen Krafteinwirkungen in dieser Richtung formschlüssig gekoppelt sind. Gegen eine Krafteinwirkung in einer anderen Richtung kann dagegen möglicherweise kein Formschluss vorliegen. Insbesondere kann der Riegel gegenüber einer in seine Bewegungsrichtung wirkenden Kraft nur durch Reibschluss fixiert sein.
  • Die Ankerelemente können mit der WC-Schüssel verschraubt sein. WC-Schüsseln aus Porzellan weisen üblicherweise zwei Durchgangslöcher auf, durch welche eine Schraube zur Befestigung eines WC-Sitzes geführt werden kann. Diese Durchgangslöcher werden dann vorliegend für die Befestigung der Ankerelemente an der WC-Schüssel genutzt.
  • Die konkrete Ausgestaltung von Ankerelement, WC-Sitz und Riegel kann auf unterschiedliche Weisen erfolgen, um den gewünschten Zweck zu erfüllen. Das Ankerelement und der WC-Sitz könnten beispielsweise Bohrungen aufweisen, welche fluchtend ausgerichtet und durch einen Riegel miteinander gekoppelt werden können. Besonders bevorzugt ist es jedoch, wenn das Ankerelement ein pilzförmiges Befestigungselement aufweist, welches einen Stamm und einen gegenüber dem Stamm verbreiterten Kopf aufweist. Hierzu korrespondierend wird der Riegel mit einer Öffnung versehen, welche einen breiteren Durchtrittsbereich aufweist, der den Durchtritt des Kopfes des Befestigungselementes erlaubt, und welche ferner einen Klemmbereich aufweist, welcher nur den Durchtritt des Stammes des Befestigungselementes, nicht jedoch den Durchtritt des Kopfes des Befestigungselementes erlaubt.
  • Bei einem derartigen Befestigungsmechanismus kann der Riegel durch Verschieben in eine (Entriegelungs-)Position gebracht werden, in welcher das pilzförmige Befestigungselement im Durchtrittsbereich der Öffnung liegt. Das Befestigungselement kann dann durch die Öffnung des Riegels gesteckt bzw. aus dieser Öffnung entfernt werden. Falls es durch die Öffnung gesteckt wird, kann der Riegel anschließend in seine Verriegelungsposition verschoben werden, in welcher das Befestigungselement mit seinem Stamm im Klemmbereich des Riegels zu liegen kommt. In dieser Verriegelungsposition kann der Riegel nicht mehr vom Ankerelement abgehoben werden, da der Kopf des pilzförmigen Befestigungselementes nicht durch den Klemmbereich hindurchpasst. Durch eine einfache lineare Bewegung des Riegels kann somit eine Verbindung mit dem Ankerelement hergestellt beziehungsweise gelöst werden.
  • Vorzugsweise wird der Riegel so gelagert, dass er parallel zur Schwenkachse des WC-Sitzes verschiebebeweglich ist. Die Schwenkachse des WC-Sitzes ist dabei diejenige Achse, um welche die Brille beziehungsweise der Deckel des WC-Sitzes für ein Hochklappen gedreht werden können. Eine hierzu parallele Verschieberichtung des Riegels hat den Vorteil, dass eine Betätigung des Riegels durch eine zur (gut zugänglichen) Seite des WCs gerichtete Bewegung bewirkt werden kann.
  • Vorzugsweise wird die Schnellbefestigung bei einem WC-Sitz mit einem Rückbrett eingesetzt, wobei das Rückbrett so eingerichtet ist, dass dieses mit Hilfe des mindestens einen Riegels am mindestens einen Ankerelement befestigt werden kann. WC-Sitze mit Rückbrett sind bekannt. Mit ihnen wird die Schwenkachse von WC-Brille und WC-Deckel nach vorne verlagert, so dass auch bei weit ausladenden Spülkästen gewährleistet ist, dass der Deckel und die Brille gegen den Spülkasten angelehnt werden können, ohne wieder herunter zu fallen. Das von der Schwenkbewegung nicht erfasste Rückbrett bietet dabei einen gut geeigneten Raum für die Unterbringung der Schnellbefestigung.
  • Insbesondere ist es möglich, dass der mindestens eine Riegel verschiebebeweglich im Rückbrett geführt ist. Bei WC-Sitzen aus Kunststoff ist das Rückbrett in der Regel als Hohlkörper hergestellt, so dass es sich ideal für die Aufnahme und Führung des Riegels eignet.
  • Dabei können am Riegel und am Rückbrett korrespondierende Rastelemente vorgesehen sein, welche ein Einrasten des Riegels bei Erreichen seiner Verriegelungsposition bewirken. Auf diese Weise wird sichergestellt, dass der Riegel nicht unbeabsichtigt von alleine seine Verriegelungsposition verlässt und hierdurch den WC-Sitz lockert.
  • Vorzugsweise weist die am Rückbrett vorgesehene Schnellbefestigung zwei spiegelbildlich angeordnete Riegel auf, welche in ihrer Verriegelungsposition das Rückbrett an jeweils einem Ende abschließen. Auf diese Weise bilden die Riegel mit dem Rückbrett optisch und funktional eine harmonische Einheit.
  • Im Folgenden wird die Erfindung mit Hilfe der Figuren beispielhaft näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

  • In den Figuren 1 bis 6 sind die Elemente einer erfindungsgemäßen Schnellbefestigung für einen WC-Sitz dargestellt, wobei gleiche Bezugszeichen jeweils zu den gleichen Teilen gehören.
  • Figur 1 zeigt einen montierten WC-Sitz in der Aufsicht, wobei der WC-Deckel 1 sowie das Rückbrett 2 zu erkennen sind. Die Verwendung eines Rückbrettes dient dazu, die Schwenkachse des WC-Deckels 1 und der WC-Brille (nicht dargestellt) weiter nach vorne zu verlagern. Die beiden Enden des Rückbrettes 2 sind durch im Wesentlichen dreiecksförmige Kappen fortgesetzt, welche die von außen sichtbaren Abschnitte von Riegeln 3 eines nachfolgend näher zu beschreibenden Schnellbefestigungsmechanismus darstellen. Durch ein Abziehen der Riegel 3 in die durch die Pfeile angedeuteten seitlichen Richtungen wird die Schnellbefestigung gelöst, und der WC-Sitz kann komplett von der WC-Schüssel abgenommen werden. Auf diese Weise ist eine leichte und gründliche Reinigung möglich. Besonders vorteilhaft ist dabei, dass die zu betätigenden Riegel 3 zur Seite beweglich und somit gut erreichbar sind.
  • In Figur 2 ist die Funktion des Verriegelungsmechanismus detaillierter gezeigt, wobei das Rückbrett 2 und der Riegel 3 teilweise transparent dargestellt sind. Das Rückbrett 2 besteht aus einer Bodenplatte 2a und einem Deckel 2b, welche in Figur 5 bzw. 6 in verschiedenen Ansichten separat dargestellt sind. Die Bodenplatte 2a weist an ihren Enden jeweils eine kreisförmige Öffnung 12 auf. Durch diese Öffnungen 12 ragt ein Ankerelement 8, welches an der WC-Schüssel festgeschraubt ist.
  • Das Ankerelement 8 ist in Figur 3 separat in einer Aufsicht (unten) und einem Querschnitt (oben) entlang der Linie A-A dargestellt. Im Querschnitt ist erkennbar, dass eine Schraube 11 mit Vierkantkopf durch das Ankerelement 8 8 und eine Bohrung in der WC-Schüssel (nicht dargestellt) gesteckt werden kann, um das Ankerelement 8 an der WC-Schüssel dauerhaft zu befestigen. Ferner ist in Figur 3 erkennbar, dass das Ankerelement 8 ein nach oben abstehendes, pilzförmiges beziehungsweise im Querschnitt T-förmiges Befestigungselement 7 aufweist, welches aus einem schmaleren Stamm 7b und einem gegenüber dem Stamm verbreiterten Kopf 7a besteht. Dieses pilzförmige Befestigungselement 7 wirkt mit dem nachfolgen näher beschriebenen Riegel 3 zusammen.
  • Der als Endkappe ausgebildete Riegel 3 ist in Figur 4 separat in verschiedenen Ansichten dargestellt. Er besitzt einen im montierten Zustand außen liegenden, im Wesentlichen dreieckigen Abschnitt, welcher einen optisch harmonischen Abschluss des Rückbrettes 2 bildet (vgl. Figur 1) und eine Griffmulde 13 aufweist. Ferner weist der Riegel 3 einen Innenabschnitt auf, welcher im montierten Zustand im Inneren des (hohlen) Rückbrettes 2 verschwindet. Der Innenabschnitt besitzt wiederum einen zungenförmigen Schieber 6 mit einer löffelförmigen Öffnung. Die löffelförmige Öffnung weist einen etwa kreisförmigen Durchtrittsbereich 5 sowie einen im Wesentlichen schlitzförmigen bzw. rechteckigen Klemmbereich 4 auf, wobei
    • der Durchmesser des Durchtrittsbereiches 5 etwas größer ist als der Durchmesser des Kopfes 7a des Befestigungselementes 7, und
    • die Breite des Klemmbereiches 4 etwas breiter ist als der Durchmesser des Stammes 7b, jedoch schmaler als der Durchmesser des Kopfes 7a des Befestigungselementes 7.
  • Ferner ist die Dicke des Schiebers 6 geringer als die Höhe des Stammes 7b des Befestigungselementes 7. Der Schieber 6 kann daher mit dem Durchtrittsbereich 5 über das pilzförmige Befestigungselement 7 gestülpt (Zustand in Figur 2b) und anschließend so verschoben werden, dass der Stamm 7b des Befestigungselementes 7 im Klemmbereich 4 zu liegen kommt (Zustand in Figur 2a). Da der Klemmschlitz 4 schmaler als der Kopf 7a ist, kann der Riegel 3 im zuletzt genannten Zustand, der sogenannten Verriegelungsposition, nicht mehr nach oben vom Ankerelement 8 abgehoben werden. Zusammen mit dem Riegel 3 sind dann jedoch auch das Rückbrett 2 und der WC-Deckel 1 fixiert.
  • Wie aus Figur 2 ferner zu erkennen ist, weist der Riegel 3 zwei parallel zum Schieber 6 vorstehende Rasthaken 10 auf, deren verbreiterte Spitze in der Verriegelungsposition (Figur 2a) hinter Raststiften 9 des Rückbrettes 2 einrastet. Hierdurch wird der Riegel 3 in der Verriegelungsposition gegen ein unbeabsichtigtes Lockern gesichert.
  • Schließlich ist aus Figur 2 auch erkennbar, dass das Rückbrett 2 einen weiteren Stift 14 aufweist, welcher eine axiale Führung des Riegels 3 sowie einen Anschlag bildet, der den maximalen Auszug des Riegels 3 aus dem Rückbrett 2 begrenzt. Es ist daher nicht möglich, die Riegel 3 komplett aus dem Rückbrett 2 herauszuziehen, so dass sie vor einem unbeabsichtigten Verlust geschützt werden.

Claims (9)

  1. Schnellbefestigung für einen WC-Sitz (1, 2), enthaltend mindestens ein an der WC-Schüssel zu befestigendes Ankerelement (8) sowie mindestens einen beweglichen Riegel (3), welcher in eine Verriegelungsposition gebracht werden kann, in welcher er eine Verbindung zwischen Ankerelement und WC-Sitz herstellt.
  2. Schnellbefestigung nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Riegel (3) in der Verriegelungsposition eine in mindestens einer Richtung formschlüssige Verbindung zwischen Ankerelement (8), Riegel (3) und WC-Sitz (1, 2) herstellt.
  3. Schnellbefestigung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Ankerelement (8) mittels mindestens einer Schraube (11) mit der WC-Schüssel verbunden werden kann.

    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Ankerelement (8) ein pilzförmiges Befestigungselement (7) mit einem Stamm (7b) und einem verbreiterten Kopf (7a) aufweist, und dass der Riegel (3) eine Öffnung besitzt mit einem Durchtrittsbereich (5), welcher den Durchtritt des Kopfes (7a) des Befestigungselementes (7) erlaubt, und einem Klemmbereich (4), welcher den Durchtritt des Stammes (7b), nicht jedoch des Kopfes (7a) des Befestigungselementes (7) erlaubt.
  5. Schnellbefestigung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Riegel (8) in Richtung der Schwenkachse des WC-Sitzes (1, 2) verschiebebeweglich ist.
  6. Schnellbefestigung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der WC-Sitz ein Rückbrett (2) enthält, welches mit Hilfe des mindestens einen Riegels (3) am mindestens einen Ankerelement (8) befestigt werden kann.
  7. Schnellbefestigung nach Anspruch 6,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Riegel (3) im Rückbrett (2) verschiebebeweglich geführt ist.
  8. Schnellbefestigung nach Anspruch 6 oder 7,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am Riegel (3) und am Rückbrett (2) Rastelemente (9, 10) vorgesehen sind, welche ein Einrasten des Riegels in der Verriegelungsposition bewirken.
  9. Schnellbefestigung nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 8,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese zwei spiegelbildlich angeordnete Riegel (3) enthält, welche in ihrer Verriegelungsposition das Rückbrett (2) beidendseitig abschließen.
