Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Filtercigarette gemäß Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to a filter cigarette according to the preamble of
Filters for tobacco smoke, which consist entirely of tobacco have long been known. They have good filtering properties and are particularly attractive for many smokers for reasons such as biodegradability, natural origin, and ecological aspects. By using highly aromatic tobaccos this leads to improved taste characteristics of the tobacco smoke.
Disadvantage of conventional tobacco filters is that the tobacco comes into direct contact with the lips and the tongue of the consumer, which leads to the adhesion of tobacco and leads to sensory irritation. The visual appearance of the tobacco filter is often met with rejection.

However, these methods and procedures are cumbersome and uneconomical and do not avoid the direct contact of the consumer with the tobacco. The smoker is still in contact with the tobacco surface. In addition, the visual and haptic disturbs Perception of the tobacco-like cross-sectional area of the mouth-side filter end and the unevenness and lack of strength of the tobacco filter.

The invention is based on the object , a conventional filter cigarette, in which a filter element is connected to a Umwickelpapier directly to the tobacco rod, with a sensorially improved and thereby flawless smoking pleasure and thereby improve the filter properties compared to the use of conventional filter materials. At the same time, the labial and lingual perturbations of conventional tobacco filters should be avoided; Furthermore, the filter construction should correspond in their physical properties (stuffing density of the tobacco and draw resistance) to those of conventional filter cigarettes.
Further advantageous features are listed in the subclaims.
An essential advantage of the invention is the avoidance of lingual, labial and haptic irritations by using the mouth-side hollow filter part, which also has pleasant haptic and optical properties due to its surface smoothness. Another advantage of the invention is that a significantly improved taste is achieved by the use of aromatic tobaccos in the tobacco filter. At the same time this allows Measure a significant reduction in material costs, as in the strand less aromatic and thus cheaper tobaccos can be used. Accordingly, the essence of the invention is the formation of the filtration system from once a tobacco filter and on the other hand, a hollow filter.
In addition, the present invention exploits particular flow characteristics of the filter.
Another advantage is the improved appearance due to the increased distance of the tobacco surface from the mouth-side filter end. In addition, the use of a hollow filter part in a tobacco filter saves material costs for the highly aromatic filter tobacco.
As aromatic tobacco filter materials, tobaccos of good leaf quality such as e.g. Tobacco with a very small proportion of expanded tobaccos, rib or foil tobaccos or tobaccos, which were previously subjected to flavor enrichment used. The aromatic tobacco portion in the tobacco filter element significantly reduces the negative taste impression over one-piece artificial filter elements. For flavor enrichment of the tobacco filter material, thermal processes can be used in a manner known per se.
The strand wrapping material may in one embodiment consist of at least one wrapping layer of reconstituted tobacco or natural tobacco leaf with the topsheet mounted in a helical wrap.

Figure 1 shows a first embodiment with a
To reduce condensate and nicotine levels, the tobacco filter as shown in Figure 2 may be ventilated. The arrangement of the ventilation means, for example, a row of
Figure 3 shows a smoke product with a ventilated
In a further embodiment, not shown, a closed flow filter element made of known filter material (polyethylene, creped cellulose, cellulose acetate) is provided on the mouth side of the tobacco filter section. The aromatic tobacco portion in the tobacco filter element significantly reduces the negative taste impression over one-piece conventional filter elements.
FIG. 4 shows a smoke product with a coaxial or core filter with tobacco core 8 and jacket 9 made of other filter material, for example cellulose acetate. It can be seen that the jacket 9 extends from the
The
It should be noted that the embodiment according to FIG. 5f differs from the embodiment according to FIG. 5e in that the
The tobacco, which is used in the filter is brought to a tobacco temperature between 60 ° C and 150 ° C, preferably 80 ° C and exposed to a high relative humidity and with a cutting width of 0.3 for a period of between 1 minute and 15 minutes mm to 0.6 mm cut.
On the mouth side, the tobacco filter receives a hollow filter part, a so-called recess filter, and is connected to the tobacco rod by means of a wrapping paper on a conventional cigarette machine. The cigarettes have an attractive visual appearance and there are no lingual or labial disturbances during smoking.
Example 2: 200 kg of tobacco are subjected to a casing treatment, cut into a fine cutting width of 0.3 mm to 0.6 mm and further processed into filter parts. The mouth-side hollow filter part is made of polyethylene, wherein the inner tube is connected via three webs to the outer wall of the hollow filter. The Tabakfilter- and hollow filter parts are processed into double filters and attached using a Umwickelpapiers to the tobacco rod. The wrapped tobacco rod contained a tobacco blend with a high content of ribs and low cost tobaccos. The draw resistance of the inventive filter was 82 mm WS, that is in the range of draw resistances of filters made of conventional materials. A sensory examination in a group of 12 volunteers revealed that the Cigarette according to the invention compared to a cigarette with one-piece tobacco filter without a hollow mouthpiece showed a significantly better taste. Furthermore, the test persons were asked about their visual and haptic impressions. It was a unanimous opinion that both the visual, haptic and lingual or labial disturbance impression compared to the comparison cigarette is significantly reduced.
