Description
- L'invention est relative à un ski équipé d'un système mécanique de modification de sa géométrie radiale.
- Le terme ski utilisé dans le présent texte couvre également les planches de glisse dites snowboards.
- L'état de la technique comprend le document DE-A-32 23 413, relatif à un ski comportant un système mécanique de modification de sa géométrie radiale.
- Précisément, avec ce système mécanique connu, d'une part, chacune des deux rives du ski est équipée d'une care montée pivotante autour d'un axe qui suit la direction longitudinale de la rive et, d'autre part, ces deux cares sont accouplées à un dispositif d'actionnement sensible à la charge que le ski reçoit d'un dispositif de maintien d'une chaussure sur ledit ski.
- Lorsque le ski n'est pas sollicité, les cares s'étendent latéralement au plan de la surface de glissement du ski, tandis que lorsque le ski reçoit une charge qui dépasse une valeur prédéterminée, les cares sont proportionnellement déplacées en saillie par rapport à ladite surface de glissement.
- Un résultat que l'invention vise à obtenir est un ski équipé d'un système mécanique du type précité qui permet de modifier sa géométrie radiale dans les zones avant et arrière dudit ski et non pas sur toute la longueur des rives dudit ski.
- A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un ski équipé d'un système mécanique de modification de sa géométrie radiale, selon la revendication 1.
- Le système mécanique selon l'invention comprend quatre éléments de base.
- Le premier étant deux tiges (1) en matière flexible et non compressible dont une des extrémités est composée d'un tendeur et l'autre d'une partie conique.
- Le deuxième élément est une butée fendue (2) constituée d'une pièce rapportée ou intégrée au ski sur sa surface supérieure à la hauteur de la spatule ou du talon, ou des deux. Cette pièce est en forme d'aile de raie fendue partiellement par le centre et comprenant un alésage conique dans l'axe du ski prévu pour recevoir l'extrémité conique de la pièce (1).
- Le troisième est un système de tendeur (3) situé sur l'axe de la tige (1) et qui permet d'ajuster la longueur active de celle-ci.
- Le dernier élément (4) est un ou plusieurs guides placés le long du ski pour stabiliser la tige (1).
- Mécaniquement, la modification de la géométrie radiale du ski est engendrée lors de la flexion longitudinale de celui-ci. Cette flexion provoque une modification différente des rayons de la tige et du ski ce qui entraîne une avancée de la partie conique de la tige 1 dans l'alésage conique de la partie 2. Ce mouvement provoque l'ouverture de la partie 2 en agissant directement sur la géométrie radiale du ski.
- Les avantages du système selon l'invention sont les suivants :
- à plat la géométrie radiale du ski est légèrement convexe tandis qu'en courbe cette géométrie devient progressivement concave, ce qui améliore le comportement du ski en conduite et facilite son déclenchement,
- le système offre la possibilité d'adapter les caractéristiques du ski aux conditions, par un réglage de la longueur active de la tige ou par son remplacement par une tige mieux adaptée.
- Le système atténue les vibrations par l'ensemble de cette construction. Une géométrie favorisant un rendement optimal du ski dans toutes les situations.
- Avec le système, l'effet "carving" est accentué pour une taille semblable.
- Un mode de réalisation de l'invention est représenté par les croquis A,B,C.
- On note la construction des deux tiges en fibre de carbone (1). A l'une des extrémités est collé un cône métallique à l'autre une douille collée et comportant un filetage extérieur.
- La pièce (2) en forme d'aile de raie est en matière composite réalisée par moulage et intégrée au ski par collage. Son alésage conique est un élément rapporté résistant à l'usure.
- La pièce (3) est un tendeur muni d'un filetage venant se viser sur la tige (1) et prenant appui sur la plaque du ski ou la fixation.
- Les guides de tiges sont en matière synthétique (4) et sont collés sur la face supérieur du ski.
- Les pièces (2) et (4) sont fixées sur le ski aux endroits déterminés, puis les tiges (1) et les tendeurs (3) sont montés. Dessin (B). La longueur active étant ajustée par les tendeurs (3).
Claims (8)
- Ski de construction sandwich ou monocoque comprenant un système mécanique de modification de la géométrie radiale du ski proportionnellement à sa flexion, caractérisé en ce que le système mécanique modifie la géométrie radiale en exploitant l'avancement d'une tige dans une butée fendue pour provoquer l'écartement de cette butée et, de ce fait, la modification de la face inférieure du ski, l'avancement de la tige étant généré par la différence des rayons de la tige et du ski lors de la flexion.
- Ski selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les tiges peuvent être multiples.
- Ski selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les butées peuvent être multiples.
- Ski selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la tige est d'une pièce sur toute la longueur du ski.
- Ski selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la forme de la tige est variable.
- Ski selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la fixation est fixée sur les tiges.
- Ski selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la tige est uniquement prise entre les deux butées.
- Ski selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le sytème est intégré sous la surface supérieure du ski.
