Definitions
- the invention relates to a substance input of a mail sorting system, one separation device, one with it connected horizontally aligned consignment conveyor with a support wall for the transport of upright, flat Consignments to the separating device and one in the consignment conveyor can be swung in and out and in the direction of transport for holding and transporting the items to the separating device movable and on a linear guide has reversible separating knife and a method for loading the fabric feed.
- the shipments are made a mail container tipped onto the consignment conveyor or removed by hand in batches from the mail container and opened put the consignment conveyor. After that, they will, too by hand, on the lower edge and laterally against the Support wall aligned and to the separating device or pushed to the rest of the stack.
- the cutting knife is then behind the stack swung in and the shipment separation begins, the separating knife and optionally also the as driven conveyor belt coupled to the cutting knife executed consignment conveyor the batch pressure controlled feeds the separating device.
- a device for automatic loading also became known the substance input of a mail distribution system from WO 97/20644 (& EP 0 865 328 B1), in which the direct loading process runs without manual activities.
- This is a filled Containers on the letter conveyor by means of a loading module the substance input between two additional, movable and swiveling separating knives emptied. Then the stack becomes automatic by means of the two separating knives in the direction of the separating device pushed to the remaining stack, which is the remaining stack holding knife swings out, travels close behind the rear additional cutting knife, swings back in and the two additional cutting knives swing out and drive towards the back to pick up a new stack.
- This one too The shipments are brought to a solution in a mail container Substance input, i.e. the shipments have to be relatively expensive the mail containers are filled. In many cases, these come Shipments from upstream sorting machines. Then be the pre-sorted consignments from the corresponding sorting compartments loaded into the mail container and as described for corresponding substance input
- sorting processes with several sorting runs in a row, where the shipments from the sorting bins not loaded into mail containers, but via a transshipment bridge from the sorting compartments to the letter conveyor the substance input can be pushed (DE 42 36 507 Cl). For this a certain machine layout is necessary, however the sorting compartments and the letter conveyor of the material input are opposite.
- the invention specified in claims 1 and 7 is the Task based on a generic substance input and To create procedures for loading the substance input with their Help loading the shipments from upstream sorting systems in mail containers is no longer necessary or to the machine layout in sorting processes with several sorting runs, where the sorted mailings of the substance input can be fed directly without a mail container, no requirements with regard to the spatial arrangement of substance input and sorting bins are more necessary.
- the execution of the consignment conveyor as a divided consignment conveyor being a relatively short first section as before firmly connected to the separating device and at least one longer one that can be coupled to the short section second section movable on a chassis is arranged, enables the direct loading of the consignment conveyor anywhere without use of mail containers.
- the second section of the consignment conveyor drove to the place of loading and the shipments are placed on the second section. So that the shipment stack one or two cutting knives will not tip over pushed along the second section to the stack. is the batch of mail not too long is enough for a certain one
- a cutting knife is inclined, otherwise it is double-sided Hold with two cutting knives more securely, especially with uncontrollable ones Transport movements.
- the one with the first section the consignment conveyor has connected supporting wall the length of the entire consignment conveyor.
- the cutting knife of the first short section of the consignment conveyor can be moved over the length of the entire consignment conveyor, i.e. if the second section is coupled, this can first cutting knife swung out behind the rear cutting knife of the second section and after joining with the possibly on the first section existing remaining stack and swiveling out the cutting knife of the second section the entire stack to the separating device slide.
- the cutting knives are arranged so that they don’t interfere with each other during the movements.
- the first section of the consignment conveyor run at least as long as time is sufficient to separate a batch of items on it, around the coupled, now empty second section Uncouple the shipment conveyor and load a loaded one to couple the second section to the first section.
- the floor consists of carrying out as little stress as possible the first and the second section of the consignment conveyor at least partially from a rough conveyor belt, which synchronize with the swung-in first cutting knife move when the batch of mail to the separating device is proceeded.
- the drives of the two conveyor belts advantageously coupled by means of friction wheels.
- the conveyor belt is only in the direction of the separating device movable.
- the second section of the consignment conveyor to the sorting compartments of any consignment sorting system to drive and load from the sorting bins.
- the shipments are in the order of distribution for the deliverers. Since the Consignment sorting system only a limited number of sorting bins 14, this must be done in several sorting runs in a row be carried out, the shipments of the Substance input exactly in the sorted order from the sorting compartments be fed again.
- the items are standing by stacked back to front, going forward from one pressed against the growing stack by spring force and swiveling stacking plate are supported.
- the Empty the sorting compartments 14 and load a mobile second one Section 30 of the consignment conveyor of the substance input can then be done simply by the batch of items from the Sorting compartment 14 is pushed onto the second section 30.
- the mail batches are from the sorting compartments 14 after first run on one or more on chassis second sections 30 of the consignment conveyor loaded, which are distributed along the shipment sorting system.
- the single ones mobile sections are then used for substance input driven and unloaded.
- the second section 30 is the Mail transport track attached to a chassis 12. He has a bottom 8, two along a linear guide 11 of the second section slidable and into the transport path separating knife 9, 10 swiveling in and out as well as one Support wall 15 on which the standing programs are aligned.
- the bottom 8 of the second section is in the same height as the bottom 3 of a first section 20 of the Consignment conveyor of the input of material. Become the cutting knife 8.9 swung out to the stack ends and then moved swung in and hooked in the floor 8, so it slips or prevents the stack from tipping over.
- the first with the separating device 2 rigidly connected section 20 of the Consignment conveyor is perpendicular to its direction of transport to the extraction device 2 of the separating device aligned.
- the shipments are directed at a supporting wall 4 with their trailing edge.
- a linear guide 5 is attached to the a first separating knife 6 into and into the consignment transport path can be swung out and along the consignment conveyor is movable.
- the bottom 3 of the first section is as Conveyor belt executed.
- the drive of the cutting knife 6 and of the conveyor belt is measured at the point of departure Stack pressure regulated so that this stack pressure is approximately remains constant.
- the linear guide 5 has a length that the sum of the length of the first 20 and the second section 30 corresponds to the consignment conveyor.
- the length of the first section 20 is chosen so that the Enough time to separate the items on it, to move away the now empty second section 30, a ready loaded second mobile section 30 to couple including moving the first separating knife 6 behind that of the separating device seen rear knife, supporting the stack of items 10, the pivoting of the first cutting knife 6 into the Transport path of the consignments and the subsequent swiveling out the additional cutting knife 9, 10 of the second section 30.
- the second mobile section 30 of the consignment conveyor is on a chassis 12 mounted. Its transport level is the same height on like that of the first section.
- the ends of the two sections 20, 30 that are coupled together are shaped so that they are in a kind of interlocking interlock so that there is no annoying gap.
- the second section also has a conveyor belt as Bottom 8 and if the second section 30 to the first section 20 is coupled, the driven conveyor belt the first section by means of friction wheel 7 with the conveyor belt of the second section 30 coupled so that both be driven immediately.
- the conveyor belt of the second section 30 is only in the direction Separating device 2 movable so that when pushed together of the shipments during the loading process the rear towards the separating device, pivoted separating knife 9, which is on the conveyor belt is supported and connected to it positively or non-positively, the shipments don't slip away.
- the second section of the consignment transport track located on the chassis at a 90 ° angle to the compartment wall 13 with the Sorting bins 14 provided. It starts with the content of Tray No. 1, which is parked to the left of the front cutting knife then the content of compartment no. 2 is placed to the left of it etc.
- FIG. 2b In a second possible variant (FIG. 2b), the shipments distributed from front to back with descending number.
- the cutting knife No. 2 is initially e.g. in the middle the second section, to the right of it then the stack is out the sorting bin 14 with the highest number, etc. Is the right half of the second section is filled Stack then shifted to the left. This process can also occur more frequently with correspondingly smaller stacks.
- the aim of this procedure is to always make the loading point as possible to have close to the partition wall, so that the paths when filling to minimize the second section.
- overflow compartments are provided. These must also be in the correct order be emptied (if compartment no. 4 is assigned an overflow compartment no. 4+, No. 4 is emptied first and then afterwards No. 4+). Therefore, they make sense about the sorting system regularly distributed so that they always have to be emptied can be walked away from the stack. So for the emptying of the bins on the second section the minimum route for the consignment conveyor.
- the first of the sections 30 to be unloaded is the one with the stack of Tray # 1 at its right end.
- the first variant described is that of substance input on next standing second section.
- this would be the second section at the end of the shipment sorting system.
- the corresponding second section 30 is initially an extension to the first section 20 of the consignment conveyor docked to the fabric input.
- the two separating knives 9.10 then pushed with the stack up to the first cutting knife 6.
- the first cutting knife 6 of the material input is then after swung up and behind the stack and the rear cutting knife 10 of the second section 30 inserted again.
- the separation can be started (FIG 3a-c). Is the second section 30 driven empty by separation, follow the rest in the appropriate order.
